"I think she's dead." Daisy said as someone poked my cheek. "Not dead, but you will be in a couple minutes." I said then cracked my eyes open to see Sam, Colby, and Daisy all staring at me.

"Jesus, what?" I asked as Daisy reached down and smacked my ass as hard ass she could, "get up! It's like 8pm." She said as I rubbed where she slapped. "No way." I said then looked at the little clock next to the bed.

"Yeah, you were out dude. We've been here for like 3 hours now." Sam said as I sat up to stretch. "Well if you make me stay up all night in an asylum then I'm gonna sleep all day in the hotel, that's how it works." I said and got out of bed.

"So are we going back?" I asked and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. "Yeah, we're gonna eat then we're gonna go back for a little while." Colby said as I brushed my teeth, nodding.

I almost didn't want to go back tonight, I didn't want to feel the sadness that being there brought me. I also had a bad feeling about tonight. I couldn't pin it but I felt like something was going to happen.

Maybe that would be a good thing though.

I got ready as we waited for our food to come. I decided to actually do my makeup today since I had the time to do so. "God, why is this so hard!" I groaned as Colby chuckled next to me, "that's what she said." He said as I rolled my eyes. "You're a toddler." I said as my phone ran. "The foods here, wanna come wither to get it?" I asked Colby as I packed up my makeup. "Yep." He said then stood up and offered his hand to me.

"Ya know we only have a couple days left." I said quietly as we held hands and walked down the hallway. "I'm trying to forget." Colby said as I bit my lip. "What are we gonna do?" I asked quietly.

"I want this to work, Vi. I'm willing to try long distance if you are." He said I nodded. "It's worth a try. I just don't want this week to be over." I said quietly as he stopped, turning me so I could face him.

"I know it's not ideal. I know that long distance will be hard, and I can't promise that it will even work but I really like you. I like what we have going on. I want to be with you." He said and held my shoulders. "I want to be with you, too." I said quietly as he grabbed my face and kissed me.

I melted into the kiss, savoring this moment as best as I could. I was still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that he wanted me. It felt surreal since we haven't even known eachother for a week. There was just something that I loved about him.

Wait. Love?

I couldn't be in love. I barely knew him.

"We should go." I said then grabbed his hand, leading him towards the lobby.

We grabbed our food, then made our way back upstairs. As we ate we reviewed the footage from last night.

"I can't believe you got choked by a ghost." Daisy said as I chuckled. "He's a pussy." I said and popped a fry into my mouth "He's a ghost." Sam said as I shrugged. "Still a pussy." I said then grabbed my phone.

All of my socials were still being flooded with hate comments which made going on those platforms almost impossible. I sighed then locked my phone and looked up at Sam.

"What are we doing tonight?" I asked and packed up my garbage. "Well there was a prison that's in the basement that we haven't checked out yet, I think we should definitely start there." He said as I nodded, "sounds like a plan." I said then threw my trash away.

Once everyone was finished eating we made our way back to the asylum.

"I have a really bad feeling about tonight." I said to Sam as we made our way into the building. "What do you mean?" He asked as I shrugged. "I don't know, I just have this feeling in my gut that something is going to happen." I said and shivered against the cold air.

"Well now I'm nervous." Sam said as he handed me a flashlight. "No, we can't both be nervous tonight." I said then turned towards Daisy. She was having an in depth conversation with Colby so I didn't want to interrupt.

"I didn't even know there was a prison down here." I said as Sam and I walked down the stairs. "Me neither. Steve told me about it in an email, it's apparently hidden really well." He explained to the camera as I shined the flashlight in front of us.

"Patients would be sent here for days at a time, with no communication with anyone." Sam said as I chewed my lip, "so solitary confinement?" I asked as he nodded. "Essentially, yeah. Sometimes they would forget about the patients, leaving them here to die from starvation and thirst." Sam explained as I got a chill.

"That's horrible." I said and hugged myself as we passed the main part of the basement. "Did Steve tell you how to find this place?" I asked as he nodded. "Yeah, he said it's a tight squeeze, so I hope you're not claustrophobic." He said as I shrugged.

"Not the most keen on tight spaces but I'll live." I said as he led the way. "Bro, where is this place?" Colby called out from behind us. "We're close." He said then turned into a random room.

It looked like it could have been a library because there were these big shelves that filled the whole room. Some of them were toppled over while others were fully upright still.

"Is there like a hidden door?" Daisy asked as I stopped to look at the books on the shelves. Most of the covers were faded and dusty so I couldn't read what they were but others looked newer. There were classics in here, like Catcher in the Rye and To Kill a Mockingbird.

"Yeah, actually." Sam said and tried to maneuver through the fallen shelves to get to the back wall. "Here, let me help you." Colby said and grabbed my waist, helping me over the fallen shelf in front of me.

"Your turn." He said and turned to Daisy, grabbing her waist and helping her over. "Got it!" Sam said as he unlatched the bookcase in the back room, sliding it open so there was a small opening for us to go through.

"This feels like a movie." Daisy said as I grabbed the camera from Colby so he could get over the shelves safely.

"This is a really tight squeeze." I said and looked at the opening that we had to go through. "I don't think my boobs will fit." Daisy said with a laugh as she looked down. "Well we aren't leaving you behind." I said as Sam started going through the opening.

"I mean, I'll try but I don't know." Daisy said as I slid through the opening. "Shit." I said as my cast got caught in the opening. "Are you okay?" Colby asked as I nodded.

"Can you just like..shove my arm so it will get uncaught?" I asked as he frowned. "Won't that hurt?" He asked as I nodded. "Probably. Just do it though, I'll survive." I said as he nodded and pushed on the cast, getting it uncaught.

"Thanks." I said then squeezed down the tiny hallway which opened up to a giant corridor. "Woah." I said as Sam helped me.

"They really sent people down here?" I asked and looked around, noticing there were three rooms. "It's really fucking creepy." I said and looked around. "Guys! I can't fit! Colby and I are gonna stay over here and explore the library!" Daisy called out as I looked at Sam.

"Let's explore." I said then started to walk with no hesitation. Maybe the answers I was looking for would be here.

We went into the first room, which sent shivers down my spine. The room was empty except there were chains and shackles on the wall. "Holy shit. They tortured them." I breathed out as I looked at Sam.

"That's fucked up." He said as I walked around the room. "There's not much to explore in this room." I said then led the way out of the room.

"Let's try the next one." Sam said and led the way to the next room. This one was also empty except for a dingy bed. "This ones a little better." I said then walked over to the mattress, "Ew." I said as I saw hundreds of spiders crawling all over it.

Just then we were heard chains rustling in the other room. "Colby? Daisy?" I called out as Sam stepped in front of me. "Hello?!" He called out as we slowly walked out of the room we were in.

"Guys it's not funny." I said when I looked into the room with chains, only to see that nobody was in there. "Let's just check the last room then get the hell out of here." I said then went towards the last room.

As soon as I opened the door I was met with the worst smell I had ever smelled in my life. "What is that?!" I cried out and covered my mouth as I gagged.

"Holy shit! Violet, don't look!" Sam said then pulled my arm back. I shook my head then walked into the room anyways to see a huge pile of bones sitting in the corner causing me to gag.

"GET OUT." A deep voice said causing Sam and I to look at eachother with wide eyes. "GO!" Sam yelled and pushed me towards the small opening in the wall that would lead us back to the library.

"Oh my god!!" I screeched as we quickly slid through and into the library. "What was that?!" I said as I helped Sam get through the opening.

"They just threw the dead bodies in there. That's why they're restless. They were never actually put to rest." Sam said as my eyes widened, "That's it! That's how we save them!" I said then looked around so I could tell Daisy and Colby.

"Daisy! Colby! Where are you!?" I called out and shined the flashlight around the room. "Guys?!" I yelled then maneuvered myself over the fallen bookshelves.

"Where are they?" I asked then shined my flashlight down the hallway. "Maybe they went to explore." Sam said as I nodded. "You get this side of the hallway I'll get that side." I said and pointed my flashlight towards the direction I was gonna go.

I went to each room shining my flashlight into it, looking for them. "Colby?! Dais!?" I called out then pushed the door open to one of the rooms.

My heart broke as I walked into the room, shining my light on the two of them making out.
