《The Owl House: Wolfwalkers on the Boiling Isles》Part 5: Luz's Weird Dream

Later that night, everyone was asleep, peacefully. All but Luz, who was tossing and turning, and grunting in her sleeping bag. It looked like she was having a dream.

Her vision went all weird again, as it looks like she was going through a forest. Following a bright glowing purple scent trail. The trail had leader all the way to a glowing purple wolf, with purple eyes. As it zoomed in on it's face, Luz heard Eda's voice calling for her, and she woke up immediately, and gasped. She looked at her hand, where she got bit. As the symbol, shaped like a paw, glowed and faded away, like a leaf blowned in the wind. King immediately woke up, hearing Luz's gasping. "Luz, are you okay!" He asked. "Yea, I'm fine. Just a bad dream." She replied. "Hey Kid, time for school." Eda said, as she came into the room. She notices her kid looked a little rough. "Didn't sleep well, huh." "I guess you could say that." "Don't worry, I bet you'll be your normal, happy go lucky self when you see your friends and whatnot. Now come on. Don't want to be late." said Eda, as she left Luz's room. But Luz was now confused about the dream she still had. Does it have to do with the Wolfwalker she met yesterday? Or was it all in her head?

Later that day, at Hexside, during Lunch, Luz was telling her friends about her strange dream this morning. "Wow. That was ''some'' dream." said Willow. "I'll admit. Some dream you had." Gus agreed. "Right? It was like, after I got bit, strange things started happening to me." Luz mentioned. "My eyesight got weird, my smell got stronger, even my teeth have felt weird." That's when Amity noticed Luz's pointy canines. "Um Luz, maybe that is because you have fangs." "What?" Luz was puzzled, until Amity handed her a pocket mirror. Luz looked at her reflection, and was shocked. She indeed, had two sharp fangs. "What the- How did those get there." "Wait, so you said you were bit when that wolf saved you, right?" Gus asked. "Yea. Why?" Luz replied. Just then Willow brought out a book. It was titled, "The Boiling Isles Myths and Mythical Beasts". "I checked this out from the library. It has mostly a ton of information about the Mythical Beasts here." she mentioned, as flipping through pages. Luz was looking through and through, until she told Willow stop, in one single page. That page was titled, "Wolfwalkers". "Wolfwalkers, a myth being with the power of healing others, and can magically transform into a wolf while they slept." Amity read a passage. "Look, there's even a backstory of how Wolfwalkers came to the Iles." "And it says here, once you're bitten by a Wolfwalker, you become one yourself." As Gus said that, it made Luz's eyes widen. "Wait. So you're saying, I'm gonna turn into a wolf, if I sleep." "It does say here. But... Maybe it won't happen. Wolfwalkers here and very, very rare. Barley anyone has seen one." "Well, I guess you'll just have to wait and see what happens." said Willow. Leaving Luz a little worried about what might happen to her tonight. Was it in her head, or were Wolfwalkers real?
