《AN UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTER》SIDE STORY- 7 Final

(SWEET)

It was dark outside, the windows and the curtains were open in the older alpha's room as the cool breeze flew in giving chills to the man who had warm blood flowing through his veins.

He had his blue shirt on, with the first three of its buttons open. Sitting on the edge of his bed, he had his elbows settled on his knees, his hands covering his mouth.

His brown eyes danced on the floor, his sweaty fingers were now wrestling each other. He kept tapping his left foot on the ground, breathing in and out heavily. He then bites his lower lip and sighs out loud again leaving the plump flesh.

"That's a very creative time and posture to do yoga" the older alpha's eyes snap to find Tib standing at the door. Never once in his whole life did Easton feel so relieved upon looking at his pervert of a best friend. The tension leaves his body, as a nervous smile breaks through his lips.

"Oh...." Tib realizes the situation with a quick scan and turns on his feet, trying to run away from his possessed friend 'cause Easton does not smile like that, at least not at him! If he is smiling then the last thing the half-vampire wants is, to be there. He stops in his tracks when the alpha yells his name.

"Tib!"

"Bad timing" he grits his teeth and unwittingly turns to face the alpha.

Tiberius raises his brow wrapping his head around that his arrogant ass of a friend can even smile at him. It was kinda sweet but a lot more... "Gross!! Stop smiling at me like that" the half-vampire shivers with distaste.

Not paying any attention to Tib's words, Easton got on his feet with a huge grin. "You are finally here!" he says with a face that showed how relieved he was to see the older man.

"Well, you could say that" the vampire rush hesitantly, this was a very sweet welcome. Don't get him wrong, he loved sweets but this "sweetness" was drawing him to his immortal diabetic death. "Why do you look like shit though?" he makes a face.

"I do?" Easton consciously looks at the mirror right to him. He looked perplexed and happy at the same time. The perfectionist's hair was a mess, his shirt was tucked on the right and not the other side, his eyes had big bags under them.

"No. You look worse" he nods and sits down on his chair, throwing his right leg over his left. "They say a couple starts looking like each other after some time, I can already see that..." he comments upon how Easton looked like Blake now.

The older alpha kind of knew what his friend was talking about. He did look like Blake when they first met. It's been so long since then, he thought.

The vampire was gone getting "things" done right away when the war cool down. It's been six months since that happened, three months since Ezra's and Duncan's wedding, and three whole months since the alphas announced that they are willing to vow their togetherness in human terms.

"Well, it's my wedding tomorrow!" he tenses up again, slumping on the bed.

"No shit, Sherlocks! Which is why I am here" Tib says plainly. "Speak" he urges. Easton gets back into the position he was sitting in earlier, his elbows on his knees while he started shaking the left leg again.

"And I don't know this feeling I have... where I want to make him mine for ever but also I am scared that will I be able to keep him that happy" he starts.

"I mean I-I don't know how to say this but he is just so perfect, so-.... so precious... I am afraid I will ruin him and his life" he licks his lips panicking and rushing through the words.

Tib chuckles at the words, he gets into a similar position as the older alpha's and looks at his confusing state.

"You remember Easton, you were in high school when I first met you, around fourteen years old," the half-vampire says recalling the time. "You were this stoic little man who barely smiled and always had a frown on his face behind the glasses.

Similarly, when I first got to see Blake, he was very carefree, loud, and always the one with a stupid smile" Easton chuckles agreeing to the vampire's words. "Yet his eyes... his eyes were very similar to yours" Tib stops, to give a small smile to the alpha.

"His eyes were also empty, lifeless same like yours. The smile that always shimmered on his lips never reached his eyes. It was right then I knew that your great and mighty Moon Goddess had made this pair with great thought" he says even though he did not want to agree on that.

"And now that I see you guys, it's like two missing pieces of a jigsaw puzzle

found each other and they have completed this beautiful picture of life. You both are very alive now, more than you ever wanted to be. He has changed you in this way, Easton" the older alpha nods his head in agreement without any hesitation.

"And you have given him that life which he now smiles for. A smile that reaches beyond his eyes" the half-vampire's last words took Easton with a flood of emotions. He never once thought that he can also be someone, Blake looks up to. That he can also be the "reason" for his mate's happiness.

"You see that now? You guys just need each other to be happy, nothing else matters to you both" the half-vampire says and then leaves the room knowing that this was the groom's personal time.

Easton falls back on the bed and closes his orbs. He lets the year rewind in his mind. What a journey has it been. From planning to giving up the alpha throne to sitting on it with another alpha.

His heart fluttered recalling the image of Blake's disheveled state, the stained shirt one.

How cute he looked then.

"Agree"

The alpha and his wolf smiled at the memory leaving the fact aside that they almost screamed in a thousand languages at how untidy their mate was.

"You remember when he cooked for us for the first time"

How could I forget? The way the packhouse complained about the mess after that.

They laugh out loud together.

They will be ours tomorrow.

Aziel says his heart beating fast just at the thought.

"They are ours already"

True...

"Breath in... Breath out... Breath in... Breath out..."

"Yep, that's it!" Chris chimes in, which makes Blake roll his eyes.

"Say that to yourself, you both" the younger alpha scoffs at his sister and father who were more nervous than he was. "It's like you both are getting married and not me" he shakes his head wearing his bow tie.

"Oh Blake" Ezra hugs his best friend, tears welling up in his eyes. Ezra was very much pregnant now, and his emotions were all over the place.

"Yeah yeah..." the younger alpha patted the man on his back cautiously and looked at Duncan for help who was standing and observing everything.

The beta understood the assignment and held his mate by his shoulders. "Babe, wanna see if they have pumpkin flavor ice cream at the buffet?"

"Yes!" the answer was quick, as he retreated from the hug, wiped away his tears, and walked ahead of his husband to the pack kitchen.

"This scares me" Blake mumbles as he watches the mates leave the room.

"It will be alright, okay?" Brianna says. She was naive of all the happenings in the pack, little did she know, she would've messed her own married life and be back in the pack, which was the last thing on the alphas' minds.

Nevertheless, she was told the whole story in bits and pieces and of course about Cora's death.

"I know, Brianna. I am alright!" Blake smiles reassuringly towards his sister. The woman nods in response.

Blake looks at himself in the mirror and his memory from a year back flashes across his eyes. He was standing right in front of this exact mirror as he did for his coronation in this exact room thinking about how beautiful his mate would be.

When he and Kai kept telling each other that she will be flawless and absolutely out of this world. Little did they know what they were talking about was so true. Their mate is indeed out of the world, so unique, so beautiful, so precious.

Things are so different since then, the womenholic Blake Jensen hasn't even glanced at a single soul since Easton arrived in his life, he smiles more often now, he made Easton smile now, he kinda likes it when his mate wakes him up, he likes going on a long chase, more importantly.....the younger alpha's room looked a lot cleaner than it ever did.

All thanks to Easton's insistence who wanted to spend every next weekend in this room. In Blake's room, which Easton did not even want to stay in when they first met.

"It's time, Blake," Chris says, the younger alpha nods as they exchange an emotional look. Their relationship has changed so much. Blake was trying his level best to tell his father that he was sorry for being a bad son. While all Chris did was ensure that his kids were the only focus of his life.

That he would make up for everything he did not do in the past. It was amazing that their relationship was turning towards a long and beautiful road.

Blake looks one last time in the mirror nervously fixing his white bow tie. He sharply inhales and wets his dry lips.

He had a lot of thought about not panicking today, he even tried acting all cool when his sister and father told him right, but now his hands were sweaty, his throat was running dry.

This is the day, he thought.

--------------------

The venue was the exact one where the grooms first met, in the middle of those beautiful woods. The trees were decorated with beautiful lanterns, the lights gracefully engulfed the branches.

The darkness of the night has vanished as a warm glow filled the huge open place. Chairs were arranged in a way forming a complete U.

The reception was arranged right behind the aisle. Long arrangements of tables were made with beautiful and small little details of decorations.

The theme was very simple, light. The grooms wanted to show the world the way their lives have changed after the other person's arrival.

Blake insisted the wedding be a night affair. He wanted to say his vows looking at those shimmering stars. He wanted to see if those stars could compete with his mate's luster.

The crowd started filling in the chairs slowly. Zander, Duncan, Derek, Jaxon were all widespread through the venue helping with anything and everything. This was the alphas' marriage, there cannot be any flaw.

The lights were dimmed, as the focus turned into two opposite directions. The air around filled with the dominant yet endearing scent of wine and coffee beans.

If one could listen as carefully as the half-vampire, they would definitely spot the heartbeats of the alphas which sounded like one.

Inhales were heard when the grooms entered the place. They both stood tall, walking towards each other, wearing a smile that was not complimenting the tears that filled their eyes.

Their hearts were full, their love was overflowing, bouncing over to every corner of the vast forest making everyone in the pack feel it.

They were both dressed in pastel color suits, their hair is done back, a tiny flower broach, and dazzling smiles. They stood in front of each other, forgetting about the entire world.

Their eyes danced trying to map anything and everything about their significant other, and lock away this beautiful memory in those orbs forever. Their hands itched to touch the other alpha but they couldn't.

It has been an entire week since they haven't seen each other. Sure, they have spoken on call but it was never enough. They just wanted to drown in each others' warmth and just stay there...forever.

"As much as I want you both to tear each others' clothes and give me some content for my new book, I don't think this crowd will be okay with it," the half-vampire says making the alphas breakthrough their trance.

The alphas, as well as the pack members, laugh out loud at the comment. They knew Tib very well now, but they were a bit confused by the big man standing next to half-warlock. The man himself, Cassius.

He looked a lot more younger than he did then. What in the world happened to this pale old man? It was not like he was directly invited to the wedding but he wouldn't let Tib go alone.

Right at the back of the grooms stood their groomsmen. Duncan's chest was filled with pride as he stood right to Easton. On the left, the older alpha had Elias, the little man was quite grown-up now. He might have grown a two-three inches in these past months but that's on the werewolf growth and his genes.

His body was still quite like any normal teenager which was not so common for the Knights or the werewolves but they did not care.

As much as Ezra wanted to join the tribe, he was requested to be seated.

Now, on the other groom's side, Blake had Zander with a wide smile on his face. His beautiful chocolate skin radiates his joy under the lights. On the other hand, stood the man who stole the entire show, Samael Jensen.

The warlock had his hair quite grown out now, he tied it back in a cute ponytail. His suit was in a pastel green just like any other groom man out there. Blake needed to give a lot of lectures and thesis to him and convince him into this attire.

The fact that Samael was now awake from his sleep still fascinates the younger alpha. He, at some point in time, thought that he lost his brother but when the warlock opened his eyes, their entire world became colorful again.

However, this was the last day of the warlock at Crimson borders. He was leaving for the Werewolf Academy in Latin America tomorrow and was going to live with Juan and Brianna for the next few years.

There was absolutely no awakening in Samael though he had an alive wolf within. His wolf did not have a form nor those abilities like any other. And it was something eating him from the inside. So, the Werewolf Academy was not a bad idea.

The grooms had huge smiles on their faces as they stepped on the aisle where the elder aka our cute yet huge, half-vampire was waiting for them. The positions like elders and stuff were indeed high in the pack but the couple wanted no one else but Tiberius to be the one to announce them as husbands.

They respected him as much as they loved him. No other could be a better fit for this role.

"Thank you all for gathering here for this glorious wedding of Mr. Blake Jensen and Mr. Easton Knight," Tib says as cheers and howls echo through the woods.

"Without wasting any more of time with my dull and unnecessarily respectful words, let's get it!" the half-vampire speaks through the mic.

"Let's keep it simple and start with the vows, Mr. Easton Knight you first," the vampire says with a proper hand posture.

Easton chuckled a bit before speaking any of his vows. He looked at Blake who was impatiently waiting for his mate's words with big doe eyes. "Still as impatient as ever..." he begins making the crowd go aww. Taking his mate's hands in his, he resumes.

"I turned eighteen about four years ago, on my eighteenth birthday I literally had no expectations of a mate. My family was thrilled for me, while I never wished for one"

A series of gasps had been heard through the venue but the younger alpha did not flinch at all. He trusted his mate with his life and he wanted him to continue.

"When one year passed, and I still couldn't find one, I was kind of relieved. I did not want to be burdensome the other with my life decision, I knew I was not the easy one" Blake nods his head at the last line making Sir Tib stifle a laugh.

"Then out of nowhere, due to my Beta's fortunate mistake, an airhead walked into my arms" Blake's heart filled with emotions as goosebumps run through his body. "He made me realize your favorite breakfast can make the entire day awesome, that there is more fun in that "5 mins more" sleep. That it doesn't have to be spotless to be perfect, that you were the definition of perfect.

I never once regretted the day when I kissed you on your birthday. You do not even know how many times I have thanked the Moon Goddess that you were the one, Blake. I promise I will never ever let you out of my eyes, I promise to love with all my heart, no matter what.

To respect you, to make you the happiest man alive. I promise" he finishes with a smile as Blake had a hint of tears in his eyes. He wobbly smiles at his mate and squeeze his hands.

"You may go ahead now, Blake" Tib gestures to his favorite fan.

"Easton Knight... a name heavier than me," he says cooling down the emotions. "A man who is so tall, with such mysterious eyes, kgs of muscles, and a stupid frown, is that what everyone out here has known you for.

But, you know how I see you, how you look in my eyes. A small little kid, who needs attention all the time, who sits on the center table just to block my view of the TV and cuddle him"

Easton's cheeks redden, as he squeezes shut his eyes in embarrassment with a small smile playing on his lips. "A teenager whose heart beats one mile a second when he tries to say how much he loves me. A grown-up wolf, who fights me for a slice of pizza.

A strict gym instructor who forces me to eat all my veggies and do fifty laps a day. A partner who stays awake with me whenever I couldn't shut an eye. And thereafter looks at my sleeping face. A boyfriend who makes the world's best pancakes.

A mate who is everything I needed. And..." the younger alpha's eyes were now shedding tears as he gulped down hard. Tib's mouth goes open, as he reads the younger alpha's next thought.

Moving their connected hands towards him, he lets out the next words. "And... a father who would love his pups like no one else ever would" he finishes with his mate's hand on his stomach.

"HOLY SHIT!!!!!" Tib screams out of excitement. Easton visibly trembles his eyes moving in between his hand and then his mate.

"B-Blake...-" his throat goes dry, no words coming out. "I-" he falls to his knees making everyone at the wedding stand on their feet.

"I- baby-" the older alpha's eyes flood with tears while he gently touches his mate's belly. His body still undergoes a lot of sentiments before he holds his mate's by the waist and hugs him.

The older alpha's head against the belly. "THANK YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH" he ugly cries making everyone understand that their alpha is also just like them.

"Thank you, Easton" Blake gently strokes his mate's head while he tries to control his emotions.

They have been through so much these past months. And this joy was like no other.
