Novalee walks through the Greek house when the sun comes up, and Marcus leaves. Nova spots a black box on a stone table type think in the living room, and she grabs it.
Novalee then searches the drawers and she finds an older key that seems to to with the box, then she sits on the couch. She pushes the key into the hole and twists it, Nova is greeted by papers but on top is a birth certificate with the same birthday as her but three years before.
"Wow," Novalee gasps as she reads Ricardo's name. "He's my brother?"
"Indeed I am," a familiar voice says as they lean against the shone doorway.
"What are you doing here, Ricardo?" Novalee asks.
"To see my biological sister, and nephew," Ricardo teases as Marcus walks back in. "The Volturi knows that Nessie's pregnant. They go when the baby's born."
"Mom, I have to go warn them," Marcus says.
'Go," Novalee urges. "I'm staying here, I need to dig through my family history."
"And she won't be alone," Ricardo says as he struts across the room, and plops down on the couch. 'I'll keep her safe. If anyone touches my sister, they're dead by my hands, Marcus. I promise."
"Mom?" Marcus inquires, ignoring the male vampire.
"Go," Novalee says. "They need a warning." She noticed the hesitance. "I'll be fine. I'll kill Ricardo easily."
Ricardo smirks at his sister as Marcus finally ups and leaves. Both vampires listen as the heartbeat slowly disappears. "Anyways... Hello, sister."
"Can you tell me anything?" Novalee asks as she leans forward. "About our family? I know nothing. Mother wouldn't tell me anything."
"My guess is father wouldn't either," Ricardo says. "I had to live with our grandparents until they sent you off when you were fifteen." He sighs. "Do you have any blood?"

"Blood bags in the chest near my window in my room," Novalee replies.
Ricardo flashes off and he's back with two blood bags, he tosses one to his sister. "Dad worked a lot. It was terrible." He opens the blood bag and takes a sip from the straw piece. "He was mean, too, abusivo when he was drunk. He drank a lot there toward the end before he and mom... died."
"Only dad didn't wake up a vampire," Novalee says. "He ended up buried, unlike mother."
"I kind of turned mother," Ricardo admits. "I couldn't lose her."
"I understand, I would have too," Novalee replies. "I never knew she even died."
"I don't get why they made you leave, no matter how your friends were," Ricardo says as he places in leg over the other. "Mine were way worse, and they took me in after you left. I member really knew of you until you were already gone. Mother showed me pictures."
"So you knew who I was in the woods back in Forks, didn't you?" Novalee asks, Ricardo nods. "Of course you did."
"You should make a Facebook account," Ricardo suggests. "Add me."
Novalee smiles. "Show me how?"
Ricardo walks over and he sits beside his sister, hanging her a newer model iPad. He downloaded the Facebook and messenger apps for Nova.
"I had internet installed before mother brought you and Marcus," Ricardo says. "I hope you know I have nothing against you, or my nephew. I just had orders."
"I know," Novalee says as her brother sets her a Facebook account up, and her new profile picture is it the two of them. "We look alike when we are side by side."

"Agreed," Ricardo says as Novalee gets sudden friend requests from each of the Cullens, and the pack members along with Marcus and Renesme. "We were born twins, mother just separated us."
"And now look," Novalee sighs as she locks the iPad up, "both of us... Vampires."
Ricardo sighs. "I wish I could have known about you sooner. If I did, I wouldn't have ever went to Aro."
"I'm sure," Novalee replies. "Are you team Cullen?"
"Sis, I'm team you," Ricardo says. "Team Morningstar."
Novalee Hale smiles at her twin brother, and Ricardo continues telling stories about the Morningstar family from Athens.
