Rosalie and Novalee are sitting in Rosalie's bathroom while Embry patrols in La Push. Both girls are holding clear blue pregnancy tests after peeing on them. They both attempted to get pregnant on the same night, so they'll probably have their babies in the same day. Since it's July now, they'll be having their babies in January of the following year.
"The five minute are up," Novalee says. "On three... One... two..."
"Three..." Rosalie and Nova look at their tests at the same time and they both read positive.
"We're pregnant," Novalee exclaims, they hear Emmett exclaim happily downstairs. "And you graduate today."
"With a party tonight," Rosalie coos as she touches her belly. "I'm gonna have a baby." She begins to tear up.
Novalee smiles before she heads out, she's going to La Push now to inform the pack with Emma. She's going to tell Emma, too. The girls, Emma and Novalee, get into Novalee's car, and Nova drives to Sam's. This is where she finds Embry. This is like the pack hangout.
"Nova," Emily coos. "Hey, Emma."
Emma smiles as she runs inside where Embry is, and the other pack members.
"Guys, Can the pack gather in the living room?" Novalee asks kind of loudly when she walks inside, they all enter - Embry kisses Novalee on her forehead before he sits. "I have some news. Emma! You too!"
Emma giggles loudly from the kitchen as she enters the living room. She sits in the arm chair near Paul.
"What's up, Nova?" Jared asks.
"Well, I found out something this morning," Novalee says. "I'm.... pregnant."
Emmalets out a high pitched squeal, making the pack flinch, as she runs up amd hugs her mother. Novalee wraps an arm around her and she watches as Embry lets the news sink in. Sam and the others are too, after congratulating Novalee.
"You're pregnant?" Embry asks softly as he looks into her eyes. "This isn't a joke, is it? Are you really pregnant?"

"Rosalie and i took tests this morning," Novalee says. "Im really pregnant."
Embry smiles then, and he hugs her. "This is great!"
"Is Rosalie pregnant, too?" Sam asks.
"Yes, but she went to a sperm bank," Novalee says and Sam relaxes. "We probably have the same due date."
Embry smiles widely. "I'm gonna be a dad."
"I'm gonna be a sister!" Emma exclaims again, super excited.
Paul walks up amd he hugs Novalee when Embry pulls away. "Congratulations, Nova. You'll be a great mom. You're great with Emma."
"Oh, don't make me cry!" Novalee cries out. "I'm human, I am very emotional now!"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Paul says quickly as he pulls back, making the wolves laugh.
"I have a graduation to go to," Novalee mutters. "Emma, you wanna hang with the pack today?"
"Yes, mom," Emma replies.
Novalee nods and she heads home. She puts on a blue dress that's kinda tight. Novalee notices that she's bloated, and it feels crappy. A wave of nausea hits and she runs into the one bathroom, let Let's everything go in the toilet. She wonders if Rosalie's experiencing morning or evening sickness. Nova is experiencing morning.

After the graduation, the group returns to the Cullen's for a party. Embry is here, so are Jacob and Quill. Emma is at Sam's, hanging out with Emily and Kim because the boys are patrolling because of Victoria, who decided to return.
Novalee is dancing happily with Jessica Stanley, one of Bella's friends, when she sees Alice go into a vision. Nova excuses herself from Jessica and she makes a beeline toward Alice.
"Alice," Novalee says as she approaches her, Alice looks worried as she looks at the pregnant human. "What did you see?"
"Go father the pack members that are here, and I'll get the coven," Alice instructs and they separate.

"Jake, come on," Novalee says after he gives Bella a wolf charm bracelet. "Meeting in the den. Bella, you too."
Novalee finds Embry talking to Emmett. "Guys, Alice had a vision and looked worried. Meeting in the den."
Nova squeezes people and she gets Quill lastly, and meets everyone in the downstairs living room, which she likes to call he den. Once inside the room, Carlisle closes the door to keep humans, other humans, from being nosy.
"Alice had a vision," Novalee informs everyone. "What did you see, Alice?"
"The decision's been made," Alice claims.
"We're not going to Seattle?" Esme inquires.
"No, they're coming here," Alice replies. "They'll be here in four days."
"This could turn into a blood bath," Edward comments from besid Bella. "Who's behind it?"
"No one I recognized," Alice replies. "Maybe one." She projects the memory to Edward.
"Riley Biers, I know his face," Edward says. "He's a local. He didn't start this."
"Whoever did is staying out of the action," Carlisle claims. "They must be playing with the blind spots of your visions."
"Either way, an army is coming and there aren't enough of us to protect the town," Jasper says sternly.
"Hold up," Jacob chimes in as Embry sits with Novalee in his arms. "What damn army?"
"Newborns," Carlisle replies, "our kind."
"What do they want?" Jacob asks.
"They were passing around Bella's scent," Alice claims. "A red blouse."
"They're going after Bella?" Jacob rises an eyebrow. "What the hell does that mean?"
"It means an ugly fight," Carlisle says, "with lives lost."
Jacob looks at Embry then he looks at Quill. "All right, we're in."
"What?" Quill asks, looking at Jake like he's grown an extra head.
"No, absolutely not," Bella protests immediately. "You'll get ourselves kills."
"I wasn't asking for permission," Jacob sneers.
"Edward?" Bella looks pleadingly at her boyfriend.
Edward sighs. "It means more protection for you, Bella."
"Jacob," Carlisle speaks to the wolf, "do you think Sam would agreentinfime to an understanding?"
"As long as we get to kill some vampires," Jacob replies.
"Jas?" Novalee says softly as she looks at her favorite vampire, she can feel his nervousness, still.
"They'll give us numbers," jasper admits. "And the newborn arm won't know they exist. They'll give us edge."
"We'll need to coordinate," Esme says.
"Carlisle," Bella says in a pleading tone, "they're going to get hurt."
"We will all need some training," Carlisle replies. "Fighting newborns requires knowledge that Jasper has. That's why he helped Novalee a lot when she came to us."
"All right, name the time and the place," Jacob states.
"Jake, you don't know what you're getting yourself into," Bella pleads.
"Bella, this is what we do," Jacob informs her. "Besides, you should be happy. We're working together. You are the one who wanted us to get along, right?"
"Jacob," Novalee sighs. "You need to run this by Sam."
"I know," Jacob replies to the girl. "But you and I both know Sam will agree, and you're not going to be near that fight."
"I was going to say the same thing," Embry says. "You can stay at home, here, or at Emily's. The choice is yours."
"Novalee and Rosalie can stay at Emily's," Jacob says as he walks back in. "I just talked to Sam."
"I forgot I'm human!" Rosalie says and she touches her stomach. "I can cross over into wolf territory."
Novalee and Embry go home that night, and sleep.

Up In Space
New chapter every other day Iain Compton never planned to be abducted by an alien spaceship. It just… happened. And now he’s been awakened 22,000 years in the future and half a galaxy away by a pair of oddly human seeming beak nosed aliens and a space ship A.I. that seems to have more than a few screws loose. Oh, and then there's this gorgeous alien woman who he probably shouldn’t trust at all. His plan is to find a way home to Earth, even if its unlikely to be remotely the same; to find a better class of companions among an often strange and inexplicable galactic community, at least one who won’t use him or sell him out at the first opportunity; and to do something about the parasites in his brain who are supposed to connect him to a library the size of the galaxy, but seem to only be telling him that almost everyone and everything he comes across wants to kill him. Leave Bad Enough Alone

Clearly, there must be some dark secret behind the success of these newcomers, and it’s up to the city’s true artists to find out what it is and expose the conspiracy!
