♡Anime: Jujutsu Kaisen♡
"Hmm, this is the daughter of that CEO huh? Pathetic," you hear an oddly upbeat voice say faintly as your eyes slowly peel open. You feel intense pressure on your body as you squint and try to observe your surroundings. You're currently lying on your chest; a pile of rubble surrounds you and the dim indigo and violet twilight sky above, while beautiful, seems to foreshadow something menacing.
"H-help," you manage to mutter weakly as you reach out your hand towards a large male figure who backs the glowing twilight. You can't recall what happened, but an intense feeling of dread buzzes in the back of your mind as you half-heartedly reach out to the stranger. He takes a few steps towards you before squatting down to get a better look at you.
You strain your neck looking up to meet the cold dark eyes of the long black-haired stranger. His thin lips curl into a slight smirk as his dark sharp eyes glare at you with pure unfiltered disgust. You can't remember if you'd ever met this man before for his eyes to hold such hatred towards you.
"Me, help you? Now, why would I want to save some helpless monkey spoiled by her rich daddy? I welcome you to the real world your former highness, if you wish to live out whatever bit is left in your worthless life, then you'll do so while serving me," the man says as you look up at him confused by the venom in his light tone.
"Rich daddy? I don't remember anything. What happened? Why am I laying here? Why can't I move?" You ask rapidly as a twinkle of realization sparkles in the man's eyes before he leans back and chuckles.
"She got so traumatized that her brain chose to forget what happened as opposed to remembering her despair. How delicious! Perhaps this monkey will prove useful to me after all," the man says aloud to himself as salty water begins to pour from your eyes.
"Please, help me," you say again, this time your voice cracks from the dryness in your throat. You truly can't remember anything, but from what you could grasp there's been an accident and you're stuck and can't break free without help. The man glances down at you again while wiping away his tears from all his laughter.
"Ugh, stop your crying it makes you even more repulsive than you already are," the guy says with a snarl as you slowly try to nod before dropping your head from the pain of constantly holding it up. However, the man places a finger under your chin so that you'll once again meet his cold eyes.
"Be glad that you're in the presence of such a merciful and powerful sorcerer. I'll save you, but only if you vow to live your life for me. Understand? For the rest of your life, you'll be mine until I instruct otherwise," the man says as you answer without the need for much thought.
"I'll live for you, please just help me," you say weakly as you feel your consciousness fading.
"Good little monkey,"
One Year Later
"Thank you," you say cheerfully as you leave the café with two cups of coffee and turn into the nearby dark alleyway. You and Geto had come out to meet a couple of strong cursed spirits he was hoping to work with for reasons not disclosed to you. Ever since he rescued you from what you learnt was a collapsed building, Geto had been mindful to keep you by his side despite expressing a clear dislike for non-sorcerers.
Most non-sorcerers Geto encounters would be met with annoyance, disgust, and an endless supply of belittling insults. Meanwhile, other sorcerers were all treated like family and would receive Geto's respect and courtesy, on occasion you'd even seen him flirt with others who ended up leaving his chamber later in the night.
Despite that Geto still keeps you around and treats you with a mix of the two. He doesn't berate you nearly as much as he does with the other non-sorcerers he occasionally does business with, but he also doesn't treat you as well as he would another sorcerer.
You feel a disgusting chill run down your spine and tense up at the quick deduction made. There's a cursed spirit somewhere around you. You look around frantically before feeling one of the coffees being pulled out of the cupholder. Even though you can't see most cursed spirits, for some reason there is one who you can see clearly.
"Jhee thanks Y/N! You're so thoughtful!" Mahito says suddenly appearing in front of you before taking a sip from the stolen cup. You sigh deeply as you continue walking while trying to ignore the patchworked cursed spirit. Out of all the cursed spirits you could see and interact with, it had to be Mahito's annoying ass.
"That was for master you ass, I can't waste any more time going back and getting another one. If master's angry by the time I get back I'm blaming you," you say as Mahito pouts and tries to meet your eyes.
"Aww come on Y/N, you know Suguru can't stay mad at you for whatever reason. Hey, why do you think that is? Suguru's one of the strongest sorcerers who hates the weak pathetic race of non-sorcerers, so why would he save and protect you?" Mahito asks as you swiftly produce the same answer that Geto's given to you countless times.
"Master tolerates me because on the off chance that the plan goes wrong and jujutsu sorcerers come after you I can be tossed into the mix and throw them off while the rest of you escape," you answer robotically as Mahito snorts.
"Yeah right, you humans are really gullible huh? If Suguru were to use you as a sacrifice what would be the purpose of constantly having you around him? Besides if he needs a sacrifice then any human would do, no Y/N you're special to him," Mahito says in a teasing tone as you roll your eyes refusing to believe him.
As much as you're attracted to Geto physically, you know that there's no way he'd think of you like that when he has such strong beliefs about how your kind should die off and leave the sorcerers to occupy the earth. Hell, that could be what they're discussing today and there's nothing you can do about that but accept the reality.
You're basically Geto's pet, that much is enough to understand considering he frequently calls you monkey. Though, a tiny part of you doesn't exactly despise him for it as much as you know you probably should.
"Piss off Mahito. I'm not in the mood for your conspiracy theories today," You mutter as you turn the final corner where you left Geto. You look around confused to not find Geto standing here, you turn around to see if he walked to the other end of the alley, but Mahito's face comes into view instead. He lifts his hand menacingly as you recall how his cursed technique works and quickly take some steps back.
"Oh, then how about we test this theory hmm? Why don't I just give you one little touch and..."

"Is there a reason you look like you're about to harm my monkey Mahito?" Geto's voice asks calmly as he appears behind Mahito while wearing a forced smile. Even though Mahito provoked him, you can see the fear fill Mahito's miss-matched eyes as Geto's sharp eyes look at you. You suck in a breath feeling for some reason that you're about to be scolded as well.
"Y/N, what took you so long?" Geto asks softer than you were expecting as you stammer and look down at the tray still in your hands.
"Oh, the café was a bit crowded, so I had to wait in line for a while. When I finally left, I ran into Mahito. I'm sorry I took so long, but I got your coffee," you say as Geto walks over to you and looks down at the cup before looking back up at your face.
"Weren't there supposed to be two? Did you not get one for yourself? I was nice enough to allow you to get one,"
"Oh, yeah um, Mahito helped himself to mine but that's fine it's not like I need the energy, right?" you say despite silently cursing Mahito for ruining your chances at some caffeinated pleasure.
"That's alright, drink it," Geto says as your head jerks upright to meet his dark eyes with confusion.
"Are you sure? But this is your drink I really don't want to..."
"Didn't I give you an order? I said drink it, I wouldn't have told you something I didn't mean," Geto repeats in his usual authoritative tone as you nod mutely and slowly lift the cup out of the tray before taking a sip of the warm beverage. You feel Geto's eyes remain on you as you drink, once you've finished all that you desire for the time being, Geto takes the cup from your hands before lifting it to his lips and drinking some.
Your cheeks burn and you see Mahito standing behind Geto wiggling his eyebrows at you. He mouths 'your welcome' before sliding through a door a vanishing to whatever lies beyond it. Your eyes return to observe Geto who smirks a bit before handing you back the cup while licking his lips.
"Hmm, it seems to taste sweeter than usual, I wonder why that is," Geto says before leaning towards your face and suddenly brushing his thumb across your bottom lip.
"Lip gloss huh? Does my little pet have a secret crush I don't know about?" Geto asks in a teasing voice as you shake your head rapidly and take a couple of steps away from him. He isn't usually this playful with you, most times he barely utters a word to you beyond a certain command.
"Oh no it's nothing like that, my lips just get extra dry during the colder seasons. Besides, how could I form those feelings for someone else when my life belongs to you?" you reply as Geto chuckles before placing a hand on your head and petting you lightly.
"That's a good answer Y/N. Does that then mean that you have feelings for me?" Geto asks while meeting your eyes and refusing to look away. His voice had dropped a few octaves and those sharp dark eyes of his that you find menacing seem to fill your body with heat as his hand slides under your chin. His long slender fingers seem to ignite a fire within you despite their gentleness.
"I only want to serve you as thanks for saving my life. I know you despise who I am, so it doesn't make sense to expect anything more," you say as Geto nods slowly before removing his hand from your chin and turning his back to you as he makes his way to the same door Mahito passed through.
"You only want to serve me, huh? I'll remember that for when I return, don't go anywhere pet, your master will be back shortly,"
***
You find yourself dozing in and out of sleep as you lean against the wall next to the door Geto and Mahito went through a couple of hours ago. They've had long meetings before but for some reason, today's meeting seems to be dragging on, perhaps they really are about to make a big move. Though if they did it truly didn't bother you, you have no family or friends that you're concerned about losing or any real ties to anything or anyone other than Geto.
He's your world. Whenever he's gone all you can do is wait for him or his commands. You don't have any other ambitions in life or a desire to be away from him. Though in the very back of your mind you hear a voice screaming at you to run away from him...
Your thoughts are cut off as the door next to you swings open making you jump to attention. You watch as Geto steps through the door and immediately turns to leave the ally way with a dark expression shadowing his face. Without a word you follow closely behind him until you reach the car the two of you arrived in. Geto stops just outside of the vehicle making you halt as well; he keeps his back turned to you while speaking.
"Y/N, do you hate me?" Geto asks, his tone is neutral making you feel uncertain about what the outcome of this conversation will be. He wasn't in this kind of mood when you last spoke.
"No," you respond swiftly as Geto chuckles and turns to face you now, his eyes seem to hold a deep sense of conflict and uncertainty that you've never seen before. Geto's always plotted everything ahead, calculating every potential move and a counter to respond to any change of events. Since you were taken in by him you've never seen him conflicted before, you don't like seeing him wearing such an expression.
"Do you remember the day I found you? The position you were in?" Geto asks as you frown growing deeper in your discomfort. Geto's never brought up that day ever since he saved you and made you vow that your life belonged to him. Whatever past you had was to be discarded, though it's not as if you remembered any of it anyway.
"All I recall is being trapped under rubble before seeing you and calling out for help. I don't know how I ended up there but you saved my life, that's why I will serve you till my last breath," you respond as Geto seems to flinch at your words. He hesitates to step towards you before placing a warm slender hand on your freezing cheek.
"I saved your life that day, but only after attempting to end it first," Geto tells you seriously as you look up at him over your lashes waiting for him to explain further.
"That building that you were crushed under belonged to your father who was a business tycoon. I murdered him and his wife, your mother, when they refused to assist my cause. Originally, I intended on simply getting some assassin to go after you so that I could use you as a hostage and sway their hand, but it was more fun to go myself," Geto's hand remains gentle as he caresses your cheek, but you feel your body begin to tremble at the confession.
"I had no idea that you were hiding in his office at that exact moment that I invited myself in, I still remember the blood-curdling scream you let out when my curses tore your father and mother apart. Though I'm sure it must've been even more traumatic considering it seemed to you like nothing was there since you can't see curses. Regardless I calmly went after you allowing my curses to demolish the building and block your exits until you ended up on the first floor," Geto continues as nausea begins to bubble inside of you and flashes of a couple being ripped apart infiltrate your mind. You don't recognize the couple, but even if you did they quickly were mutilated.
"By that time the building was in shambles, and I found you trapped under some rubble. I was looking forward to teasing you a bit but quickly realized that your trauma got the best of you and you forgot what had just occurred not five minutes earlier. You became surprisingly submissive, and I figured you'd still be of value considering the police are still searching for the daughter of the murdered business tycoon," Geto now places both hands on your face as he leans closer to you, however, you seem to look through him as opposed to at him.
"Now tell me pet, now that you know the whole story are you still so willing to serve me?" Geto asks as you remain silently stunned. Your vision begins to blur due to the tears cascading down your cheeks, your brain feels as if it's being repeatedly stabbed with a knife and your heart aches.
"You...you're lying, right master? You have to be lying," you manage to get the words out but your feelings quickly become conflicted. You want to scream and cry at the same time as you rip Geto apart like he did those who cared for and loved you but similarly...you're still truly nothing without him. Geto smiles sadly as his warm hands now leave your cheeks. You feel cold without his touch, though your body burns with rage but is simultaneously dragged down by a deep sense of dread.
"I'm telling the truth Y/N, you know I am you just don't want to admit it. My plan is about to come to fruition, so I no longer need you around. Regardless of whether you are by my side or not you will die with the rest of the mundane world. I'm allowing you the freedom to live on your own accord until that time comes," Geto explains bluntly as he turns his back to you once more before opening the car door. However, even though his words were harsh, you can see him hesitate as he meets your eyes one more time.
"Y/N I know I've done unforgivable things to you but I...I'm..." Geto can't finish his sentence and instead sighs heavily before shaking his head.
"Wait, you're not really gonna leave me here, are you? Master please..."
"Stop calling me that! I'm not your master anymore, you're nothing to me," Geto yells harshly at you but while his words sting, they don't sound convincing. Your brain feels as if it's seconds away from splitting apart but the stronger part is scared to let go of the one person who's sheltered you from being killed countless times. While he wasn't always the nicest and just admitted to murdering your family in cold blood, you can't commit to your feelings of hatred.
You're certain that you've likely developed Stockholm syndrome, a part of you knew it all along but that doesn't mean you'll immediately be cured of it just because the truth of the matter has been confirmed.
"Just let me try to wrap my head around everything first. I still need you..."
"You were manipulated into believing that you idiot! If you went to the police right now they'd open up your giant trust fund and you'll be set for the rest of your miserable life! I never cared about you so just go on, you're free from me now," Geto yells at you as he slams the car door shut and gets into your face while breathing heavily. You don't flinch as Geto stands in front of you, his body language may depict annoyance but his eyes look at you tenderly.
"Geto...please," you whisper his name for the first time and watch as Geto's eyes widen with lust. Without warning Geto cups your face with both hands before pressing his lips desperately against yours, you're stunned at his actions but allow your eyes to flutter shut as you take in his warmth and try to ignore everything else.
The kiss is hungry as if he'd been starving for your lips and now that he's lached on there's no way he's letting go. Geto's hands move away from your cheeks and instead grab your waist yanking you closer to him. You let out a soft gasp at his aggression but your body responds feverishly wanting more.
You feel a tingling sensation build in your lower stomach as you lean forward to deepen the kiss. Your arms wrap around Geto's neck and your hands find their way into his long messy hair. You hear Geto let out a soft moan before suddenly jerking away from you horrified. You immediately miss his touch.
"Y/N I'm so sorry I can't do this. You don't deserve this, I can't keep hurting you. Listen just don't be anywhere near Shibuya on October 31st, that's the last order I'll give you. " Geto says distantly before quickly opening the car door and sliding inside before quickly pulling off before you could even process what just happened. You grab your trembling lip as you stare after that car that rapidly drives out of sight leaving you behind.
"Well...I knew he liked you but I wasn't expecting that. Sucks he chickened out just when things were getting spicy," you hear an annoyingly familiar voice comment as you turn around to see Mahito leaning against the wall in the alleyway not too far from where you and Geto were just talking. At this point, you don't care about how much he may have heard or seen, and as annoying as Mahito is you can't move on until you confront Geto once you've properly processed everything.
"Mahito, what's happening in Shibuya on October 31st?" you ask while trying your best to wipe away tears and reel in all your thoughts and emotions. A chill runs down your spine as Mahito's cursed energy pulses making you feel uncomfortable at the level of excitement on his face. It must've been what they were discussing for so long, and considering Geto stated that the end for non-sorcerers is coming it has to be serious.

Too bad life rarely goes as expected. --- Please Note: This is forum quest/RPG I run in the same city/setting as my other stories Hacking Reality and Get Ink'd, meaning that while a majority of the plot is made up by me, the major choices as well as what each chapter is about are usually made by the actual readers in forum votes. Additionally, given how this is essentially a story version of a Tabletop game there is also a background RPG system that while the characters aren't necessarily aware of, the readers can see these stats to know how each chosen 'Action' effects their character's development.
