I saw eyebrows kick Eren in the stomach...he was going to pay for that....

"So shorty came to the rescue huh" he chuckled.

I glared at him.

"Wow didn't think hanji would date a midget more or less marry one" he laughs.

I chuckled "ya she left you for a midget....must be ruff huh"

He glared at me "shut up short stack"

I punched him in the stomach... causing him to kneel down "look who is short now" I chuckled.

I grabbed his face and slammed it in the wall breaking his nose. I then proceeded to kick him in the shins then in the stomach.

He was on the ground bleeding.

"Tch you are pretty easy for someone who is taller than me"

He lunged at me but I stepped back. He grabbed my ankle.... shit...

He pulled my leg making me loose balance, damn this man had some strength.

I fall on my back it hurt falling on straight concrete.

He stood up and kicked my side. I attempted to get up but he kicked my face Into the wall.....then kicked my stomach...I coughed out blood.....

"Stand up from that short stack"

I glared at him and he punched my face.

"Daddy!" I heard Mikasa yell crying.

"Oi brats get the hell out of here hanji is looking for y'all go find her" I yelled.

They nodded and took off....but Eren stayed....

"Don't touch Mr Levi" he yelled getting on top of Erwin.

I saw him pull Erwins hair until Erwin grabbed him...

"Your gonna pay for that brat"

He was going to hurt Eren until I tackled him. he dropped Eren and I punched his face...

"Don't touch him again!" I yelled punching him until he kicked me off him....

My body was aching...."Eren go.... please" I said looking at him.

He had tears in his eyes "but...your getting hurt...."

"Just go kid....I'll be ok" I grinned.

He nodded and took off....now I have to keep fighting him....I tried to tackle him but he doged and hit my back....I fell to the ground....my back hurt.... everything hurt.... He got on top of me and pulled back my arms behind me so I couldn't use them.

"Hanji...." I said quietly...

"Aw is the man calling for his wife?" Erwin chuckled.

"Fuck you...I won't let you get near hanji...." I said angrily.

He laughed "good luck with that shorty"

"Erwin!" I saw hanji yell at him.

"Hanji?" He said surprised.

"You have 5 seconds to get off Levi and leave before I call the police" she said angrily.

Erwin let go of me and got off and looked at hanji....

"3 seconds now leave" she said coldly.

Erwin glared at her "your going to regret that hanji..." He said Leaving....

After he was out of sight hanji ran to me. I felt her embrace me "Levi your an idiot!" She said crying.

I saw the kids behind her.... Mikasa ran up to me and hugged me tight.

"I'm sorry...." I said holding them both close.

After our hug hanji helped me to my car...I was a bloody mess.... literally.

"I'm taking you to the hospital Levi" hanji said frantically.

"No...just take me home I need rest" I said then I felt a sharp pain in my side...

"I already called Nanaba she will look after the kids while I take you to the hospital" hanji said as we reached her house.

She took the kids inside and came back and went straight to the hospital.

They put me on a rolling bed and I felt hanji hold my hand as she ran with me to a room....

We reached a room and the doctors started looking at my wounds....they removed my shirt and I saw many bruises.

There was a purple area in my side...I think I broke a bone...

I didn't remember much because they gave me a shot of some sleeping shit and I passed out.

I soon woke up to hanji sitting next to me sleeping on my hand....I didn't know what to do...many emotions were running through my body....

She slept peacefully....she must have been exhausted from today....

I slightly shook her awake "oi four eyes..."

She fluttered her eyes then looked at me. "Levi....your awake!" She jumped looking at me.

I nodded "did they fix me up?"

She nodded "yeah you'll be discharged tomorrow"

"You can go home if you want hanji...you don't have to stay" I said.

She blushed "oh...right but I wanted to make sure your ok...so I'm going to stay...."

I grinned "thank you..."

She looked up at me "I need to be thanking you!...you found my boys and protected them including Mikasa....All I did was scare him off" she slightly laughed.

I put my hand on her cheek turning her towards me "hanji you saved me that's what matters... alright..." She nodded...

My heart was beating really fast....I think I developed feelings for her.....

I pulled her face close to me to kiss her then she laughed "heh I think you need some rest Levi" she said pushing me down to sleep.

My eyes widened...did she just... reject my kiss....?

"I'll get some water for you" she said Leaving.

What the hell was that about?.......

What the hell, what the hell!, WHAT THE HELL!" did Levi try to kiss me?....I can't stop blushing.

I went to the bathroom I was a rose...he really got me there....was I going to kiss him back?...god I don't know...maybe it was just the heat of the moment.

I splash some water on my face and take a deep breath. I go grab us some water when I come back Levi is staring at the ceiling.

"Levi?"

He flinches "sorry I was drifting off"

I smile "it's ok, but I brought your water"

He nods "just put it on the table".

I set his cup on the table and sit in my chair drinking my water.

"Oi um hanji...sorry about earlier...I was just um I don't know...I probably made you uncomfortable" he said apologizing.

"Eh Levi don't worry about it...we were probably in the heat of the moment..." I said nervously.

He nodded "well thank you for the water but I'm gonna go to sleep" he drank all his water and went to sleep.

"Night Levi".
