*Alright readers, followers, and viewers, this chapter will be a back and forth between John's point of view and Sarah so please bear with me for this. Thank you=)*
3rd person
John gazes at the merman communicating with his Sarah. A dark glare stares and keeps looking at the dead fish.
'If it wasn't for our little talk then I would have this fish killed'
John visits the merman tank and sends the useless scientists away for some time alone with the fishboy.
"Hey, there fishboy!" John calls to the bright tank. A dark shadow swims in the boss's view.
"I know you can talk." John's steel gaze meets the merman deep grey gaze.
You are correct. You also know who I really am.
"Yeah, the king of the Pacific ocean." he tucks in his chin chuckling.
Very funny. Why are you here?
"You can read my mind on that!" John allows his head to be accessed by the merman.
Hmm, very interesting. You and I both have quite the delicious taste in woman. you are correct it is best if she earns your trust along with me.
"You have given her access to her siren self and I am not happy about it." John turns around angry.
A lot more than just you have seen me kiss her. Austin, I believe his name is.
"Yeah, but he is her friend. I am not going to get him killed." John looks over his shoulder.
I will do it then. I will keep her distracted while your servant kills the dolphin. It will be hard though.
"Why?" John turns on his heel.
Jordan heard you and Jack talking about getting rid of Stella. She will eventually tell Sarah. Also, better be ready to stop Sarah from running after Jack when the fish dies.
"Not to worry. Just keep up your magic and keep yourself a distance away from her will you?" John asks almost pleading to the creature.
Fine but I can't promise anything.
"Promise anything." John scoffs under his breath at the words.
Buzzz, Buzzz.
"Answer." the black screen lights up showing Jack's name.
'Finally.'
"Boss, I am outside."
"Enter and do it fast." sweet and poisonous words end the call.
John turns his back at the window and leans his elbows on his black chair. Eyes strained on the screen with two windows open.
The one on the left is Sarah and the merman cuddling while the right is Jack entering the dolphin enclosure.
Jack lifts his head at the camera and raises his gun out. The dolphins are swimming around in the water, Stella in the middle looking at Jack.

The gun is aimed.
'One.' John counts in his head.
The merman leans in close to Sarah's lips. Her gaze on his lips as well.
'Two.'
Right thumb cocks the pistol. Stella starting to flap her fins and the young dolphin's circle.
'Three.'
The Merman whispers something under his breath to Sarah.
'Four.'
Squeak, Squeak. The dolphin starts to sing.
'Five.'
Lips collide as the gun's trigger is pulled.
BANG!
"Goodbye, Stella," John whispers watching intently the two windows.
1st person
"Did you hear something?" I asked pulling away from Karl's soft lips.
No.
"Wait, listen." I strain my hearing and can faintly hear the dolphins squeaking.
"The dolphins are in trouble." I get up as a hand grip my wrist.
Don't go. I am sure they are fine.
"How would you know? You don't know them as I do. If they are squeaking like that then something is wrong. Let Go!" I rip my wrist out of his grip and run down the stairs and out the door.
While running to the dolphin tank John joins my side.
"You heard that?" I ask him huffing.
"Yeah. My camera went off black and during the time of fixing it, I hear the dolphins. Someone is in here." John explains and I nod.
Frantically, I slam the door open and sprint to the tank only to gasp in horror.
Stella is on her right side floating on the water with blood leaking from her skull into the water. A small hole is in the center of her head.
"STELLA!" my cry echoes sharply around the room as I fall to my knees.
"No!" I scream, tears staining my face.
"Sarah." John kneels beside me.
"NO!" I scream once more and the ground begins to tremble.
Wild and strong you can't be contained,
Never bounded nor ever chained,
Wounds you caused will never mend,
And you will never end,
The ground begins to tremble and shake, the room shivering and I can hear thunder ripping open the sky. Two strong arms wrap around me as I pour my soul out to my dead friend.
Calm down, love. You're rocking the house.
I open my eyes and see the place shaking but not breaking anything. I try to calm down but I can't
Help me! i-I can't stop it.
Listen to me. You have to breathe.
Okay.
Count with me. One...Two...Three...
"One...Two...Three..." after I said three my vision darkened and I pass out in John's arms.

John holds Sarah tight to his body. A sickening grin on his face glad nobody is seeing it.
'She will be mine' John thinks picking Sarah up in his arms and bring her to the king merman tank.
Take her home.
The merman looks at the young girl whose powers are growing and her mermaid self is rising. John lays her down on the metal bridge and pulls out his cellphone. John looks through his contacts and finds Austin's number.
"Hello?" Austin's sleepy voice comes through the speaker.
"Austin I am sorry for disturbing you this late but there has been a situation. Someone has come into the aquarium and has just shot Stella. Sarah has passed out after crying, can you come and take care of her while I get Mike and Jordan to deal with the dolphin?" John fakes his panic, straining his voice.
"Yeah, sure I will be there soon." Austin ends the call and John returns his scared gaze back into his psychotic face.
the merman sits on the bridge and lays the girl's head on his scaly silver lap.
He lays a cold hand on her forehead and closes his eyes. His thoughts are filled with all of Sarah's cries. He sees every traumatic event that involved what her parents have done.
"What are you doing?" John asks, his shoulders hunching forward in defense.
Seeing her memories.
"What else is going on with her? She was shaking the whole place to crumbles." John asks unsure what the Wavers powers consist of.
Her siren or mermaid self is rising. Soon her skin will grow scales and fins. Her tail will be later when she tastes merman blood.
"Blood? Your blood!" John exclaims, forehead creases confused.
Yes, my blood or any other merman that holds a connection to her.
"Well makes sure that doesn't happen." John gets up on his feet to make another call to the members to clean Stella's dead body.
"Hello?" Mike's voice comes through the speaker.
"Mike, I need you to come with Jordan to the aquarium. Someone has killed Stella and I need you two to clean up the tank of blood and the dolphin body. Quick."
"Okay, we're on our way." John hangs up and lays his hands on his thighs gazing at the soft sleeping siren.
"John!" Austin's voice echoes in the hallway.
"In here!" Austin runs up the stairs and kneels next to Sarah sleeping form.
"She okay?" Austin asks checking the girl over.
"She is fine, from the exhaustion of crying she passed out. Take her home and look out for her." John orders Austin.
No, keep her here. If her mermaid self is coming out then she needs to be here safe.
'Out of the question.'
"Got it. I will call you tomorrow morning to give you an update on her condition." Austin collects Sarah in his arms. Turning around, Austin walks slowly and carefully down the stairs and out the door.
He is going to find out soon about her secret form.
"What do you mean?" John narrows his eyes.
Her powers have begun to show so the next few hours will be agonizing for her as her body will begin the transformation from human to a mermaid. Someone of my knowledge needs to be there with her to help soothe her thrashing about.
"What do I do?" John asks looking around, his head spinning in different directions.
You need to tell Austin about her life. Or better yet have me be there with her at her home.
"No way, Fishboy, am I bringing you to her. She is mine, not yours. So, back off." John shakes his head and raises his hand out, palm open at the sea creature.
Then who is going to look out for her when her legs turn into one single tail!? Austin!? He is going to be a whirlwind of crazy, can possibly hurt her. I need to be there to help her, I am the only one that can.
"I will be the one to help her. I know a few facts to help her adjust to this situation." John straightens himself proud of actually having her give trust in his knowledge about her form.
You may know some facts but you do not know all facts. Let me be there for her at her home!
"Don't worry. I will keep you updated. You on the other hand are staying here for those ridiculous scientists. She will be my siren, not yours." John walks away to check on the two other employees who he called to deal with Stella.
I am the only one who can help her and I will. Just need to get these feet out.
*Well, that is really crazy! Stella gets killed, Sarah is becoming a mermaid, John is trying to keep the one person to help Sarah in his tank, and Karl the king of the pacific ocean is going to grow legs!
Wow! Can't wait to see what happens next!
