It was almost 2 p.m. Nick was supposed to arrive. I wanted to show him the city because he has never been here so I was a little excited. We hadn't seen each other in a long time and there must have been a lot to talk about. I stood down at the city fountain from here you had a great view of the city. I liked it here. "Hey!" I spun around. Behind me was a man about my size. He was wearing a white t-shirt with a flame on it. Under the t-shirt he wore a black long shirt. On his face was his white headband as always (of course he also wore pants and shoes). "Nick" I greeted him happily. "How are you so Quackity?" Inwardly, I always rolled my eyes this small talk. "Well, come on, let's go to me first, then you can put your luggage down, you are definitely tired and hungry from the long journey, and then I'll show you the city later. What do you make of it?" I got to the point quickly: "OK for me." He took his luggage and I ran ahead to show him the way. Meanwhile, we talked about a few trivial things. Inside my apartment, I showed Nick where to put his things. Then he went to inquire about the house. While I was in the kitchen I went to make us food. At dinner we slowly started talking again. "So ... what have you been doing since me and Karl well .. Left?" he finally started, "Well, I got to know someone who helped me to build the whole thing up here, we're still very good friends and not so much else." It got quiet.
Nick: "I missed you."
silence Me: ,, I ... what should I say? "
Nick: "Right ... I don't expect you to forgive us, but you should know we miss you and would be happy if you become our friend."
Not much happened today. We decided to just watch one movie and explore the city tomorrow.
