The day for the Rating Game has come.

You decided to see Rias before the game started. You were currently sitting on the couch at the ORC waiting for Rias. As usual Lexie followed to the ORC and his currently sitting on your lap. The time was nearing midnight which was the time for Rias and everyone else to attend the game.

Lexie: Do you think they'll win this?

Y/n: Of course they will, they all trained hard. There's no way they can lose.

Lexie: Your right. They all trained hard for this moment. But... what if Rias loses? What are you gonna do?

Y/n: Isn't obvious? I'm gonna go down there and save her.

Lexie looked at you.

Lexie: And how exactly are you gonna get down there.

Y/n: I ummm.... walk.

Lexie: You're hopeless.

Y/n: How else am I supposed to get down there?

Lexie: Teleport obviously.

Y/n: Last time I checked, I can't create magic circles and just go wherever I please.

Lexie: Well, that's the only way to get down there. Walking isn't an option. You can't walk down to the underworld, someone would've done it if you could.

You just sighed and rubbed the bridges of your nose.

Just then Rias came walking into the room. She notices you and Lexie sitting at the couch.

Rias: Hey you two. Sona will come soon and take you can watch the game.

Y/n: Alright. How are you feeling?

Rias walked towards and sat down next to you.

Rias: Just a little nervous.

Y/n: Understandable. It'll be okay, I know you guys will win.

Rias: I don't know about that. We're outnumbered and Riser is practically immortal.

Y/n: Your right about that. But you guys have something they don't.

Rias looked at you curious about what your about to say.

Y/n: It's the bond that you all share together. Issei, Asia, Koneko, Kiba, Akeno. They're all willing to help you. To fight for your freedom. And so am I.

Rias looked at you taken aback by what you said. She then smiled and unexpectedly leaned her head on your shoulder. You blushed slightly and looked up at the ceiling.

Rias: Your so kind Y/n. I didn't think I'll have met someone who is kindhearted and strong as you are.

Y/n: There's plenty of people who fit that bill, Rias.

Rias: True. But not all of them is a Human and a Dragon Slayer.

Y/n: I guess you're right about that... I'm sorry.

Rias looked gave you a confused look.

Rias: For what?

You twiddle your thumbs while you looked down and stared at the floor.

Y/n: For not joining your peerage. If I did... I could be there with you. You guys will win for sure.

Rias cupped the sides of your face and made you look at you.

Rias: You shouldn't feel guilty because of that. I don't want you to change what you are for my sake.

Y/n: Rias.

Rias leaned forward and kissed your forehead. Your eyes widened in surprise, a blush was slowly appeared on your face.

Lexie: *Clears throat*

You both realize that Lexie was still sitting on your lap listening to everything. You and Rias both blush madly and move a few inches away from each other.

Lexie: Next time you when you two flirt with each other, make sure no one's around to hear it.

Y/n and Rias: We're not flirting!

You and Rias both look at each surprised by saying the same thing.

You caught multiple familiar scents approaching the ORC.

Y/n: Seems like everyone is here Rias.

Rias nods and stands up from the couch and sat down at her desk.

The front door opens, and everyone walks in.

Issei: Hey Prez, Y/n.

You smiled at everyone.

Y/n: Yo.

Everyone went to sit down at the couches. Akeno went to get tea for everyone and placed the tray right on the table. Koneko was sitting next to you and Lexie. She was putting on fingerless gloves for the fight. Kiba was on the other couch inspecting his blade. Issei and Asia were sitting right next to Kiba.

The whole room was quiet. Kiba sheathed his sword. Akeno and Rias both start taking sips from their tea.

You caught two more scents approaching. The front doors open revealing it to be Sona and Tsubaki who walked in. Tsubaki closed the door behind them.

Sona: Sorry if I'm interrupting.

Rias: No, please, come on in, Sona.

Sona and Tsubaki walked up to the middle of the room.

Akeno: I'm glad you could make it.

Issei: Wow, I sure didn't expect to see those two here. What gives.

Rias: There's a live broadcast of the competition so family members can watch. Sona and Tsubaki are here to help out with that. They'll also be taking Y/n and Lexie with them so they can watch the game.

Issei: Awesome.

Sona: And besides, it's her first Rating Game. I wouldn't miss an event like this for anything.

Rias: Well, I promise to do everything in my power to make it interesting for you.

A familiar white magic circle appeared behind Sona and Tsubaki. A figured appeared from the magic circle, revealing it to be Grayfia.

Grayfia: It's almost time, I hope you're ready for this my lady.

Rias: Yes, we're ready whenever you are.

Grayfia: In a few moments we'll use this magic circle to transport you and the rest of your team to the battlefield.

Issei: Where exactly is the battlefield?

Akeno: In a neutral alternate space, created just for the game. Because it's not real, we have full license to do some damage.

Akeno placed her hand on her cheek.

Akeno: Even burn it to the ground if we want.

Issei sweat dropped.

Y/n: Oh... that sounds lovely.

You were slightly freaked out by her attitude.

Sona looks at you.

Sona: We should be heading out now.

You nodded. Lexie wings appeared and jumped into air and floated. You stood up from the couch.

Y/n: Before I go... I just wanted to say something.

Everyone looked at you. You looked at Rias then Akeno, Kiba, Koneko, Asia and Issei.

Y/n: You'll be facing a strong opponent; I may not know how strong he'll be or how strong any of his peerage members as well. But all you have a something that they don't, something that they lack. The bond you all carry.

You opened the palm of your hand and lightning came out. Your lighting slowly took a form of a Phoenix.

Y/n: You all fight for Rias, you fight for her freedom, for her future. Show no mercy! Cause none will be shown to you. You guys aren't fighting to win. Your guys are fighting for a tomorrow!

You closed the palm of your hand.

Y/n: Turn that Phoenix into a pile of ashes! Make them rue the day they challenged the Occult Research Club. Fight for RIAS GREMORY!!!

You opened the palm of your hand again and your lightning took the shape of the Gremory sigil.

Everyone was smiling at you.

Y/n: Good luck everyone.

You turned around and walked towards the front door where Sona, Tsubaki and Lexie who were waiting for you.

You started to tug on your scarf. Upon touching your scarf an idea popped in your head.

You turned and started to take off your scarf. You walked in Rias's direction.

Rias notices you walking towards her desk. Rias stands up, she notices your scarf in your hand.

You are standing in front of Rias holding your scarf. Rias looked at you confused. What happened next surprised everyone in the room.

Rias went wide eyed as you started to wrap your scarf around her neck.

Y/n: For good luck.

Rias: Y/n I--

Y/n: Give it back to me. When your free of this engagement.

Rias wrapped her arms around your neck and hugged you. You were caught off guard by this but quickly returned the hug.

Y/n: You got this. I believe in you.

You whispered to her.

She tightened the hug.

Rias: Thanks.

You both broke from the hug and looked at each, smiling to one another. You turned around and walked over to Sona. You could feel Grayfia stare at you, but you paid no attention to it.

As you reached the door you turned around to face everyone. You smiled at them and gave them a thumbs up.

Tsubaki opened the door for you and Sona. Lexie landed on top of your head. You followed Sona out the door. Tsubaki follows as well and closed the door behind her.

You looked up at the night sky. Your thoughts were on the Rating Game.

Sona: We'll be heading to the Student Council Room.

Sona brought you out of your thoughts.

Y/n: Right.

Sona led the way as Tsubaki follows behind you.

You all reached the school and entered the building. It was weird for you to see the school so dark in the inside. You continued to follow Sona as she brought you the Student Council Room.

You entered the room and saw multiple monitors screens that hung from the ceiling all of them facing towards the end of the table.

Sona: Take a seat you two.

Lexie jumped off your head and landed on the ground. A puff of smoke appeared around her, and she transformed into her human form.

Lexie: Thank you Sona.

You and Lexie sat right next to each other while Sona and Tsubaki sat on your left.

Sona: Tsubaki is controlling the cameras. If your curious about your friends or to what Riser is up to, ask and she'll show you that person.

Y/n: Alright.

All the monitors were on but showed nothing but a white screen. Just the Grayfia's voice could be heard coming from the monitors.

Grayfia: Your attention please, welcome everyone, my name is Grayfia. I am a servant of the house of Gremory. I will be your referee during today's match.

Tsubaki moved her finger in the air and one of the monitor screens showed Kuoh Academy.

Y/n: Huh?

You were confused as to why Kuoh Academy was being shown.

Grayfia: To create the battlefield you'll be competing in; I took suggestions from Lady Rias and Lord Riser. You may recognize this place, as it's an exact replica of Kuoh Academy, an educational institution in the human world.

Y/n: Wait a minute, this is the alternative space Akeno was talking about. It looks just like the school.

The monitor showed classroom and staircases.

Grayfia: Each team has been given an area that will serve as its homebase.

Tsubaki switched to the ORC building.

Grayfia: Lady Rias, your crew will be in the Occult Research Club headquarters in the old schoolhouse.

Sona: Show me Phoenix.

Tsubaki: Yes Ma'am.

Tsubaki showed Riser on one of the monitors. He was sitting on a chair while two of his peerage members were hugging his sides. He had one of his arm around one of them while fondling her breasts. You could see him smirking.

Y/n: Just you wait Riser. Rias and them are gonna wipe that smirk off your face.

Grayfia: Lord Riser's home base will be located in the principal's office in the new schoolhouse. Pawns will be promoted if they can make their way to the home base of the opposing team. Good luck to all.

The monitor switched over to the ORC. You could see them putting a red small ball in their ears. You looked at Sona.

Y/n: What'd they just put in their ears?

Sona: It's magic that'll allow them to communicate with each other during the battle.

Y/n: That's pretty cool.

The sound of all bell can be heard through the monitor.

Grayfia: Alright Devils. Let the games begin!

Y/n: They can do it. I faith in them.

After a few minutes of waiting Kiba and Koneko leave the building, shortly after that so does Akeno.

Y/n: What are you planning Rias?

You said to yourself. Sona overheard you.

Sona: My guess is that Rias had sent them to set traps around the area for the opposing team.

Y/n: Make sense, they are outnumbered.

Koneko came back to the front of the ORC. Issei came outside to meet her.

Tsubaki: Gremory might be about to make her first move.

Sona: With as many pieces as she's missing, Rias won't be able to protect her home base and launch a full assault. Because of that... she'll have to force her way in with tertiary attacks.

Issei and Koneko then headed over to the gymnasium.

When they arrived they encountered four members of Riser's peerage.

Y/n: Mira. Whose the other three?

Sona: The black haired one is a rook, the twins are pawns as well as Mira.

You looked back at the screen. Koneko was facing Riser's rook while Issei was facing the pawns. Koneko was dodging a barrage of kicks from the rook. Koneko went in for a punch but the Rook was fast to pull off a back kick. Koneko barely managed to dodge it as the kick teared up the front of her uniform.

Issei saw this and diverted his attention from the pawns and looked at Koneko. Mira saw this and hit Issei with the end of her staff. Issei hits a wall cracking it in the process. He falls to the ground while the twins are in front of him holding chainsaws.

Back to Koneko. The rook went for a kick, but Koneko caught it and delivers a punch to her face. The rook gets pushed back and Koneko rushed her and rammed her shoulder into the rook.

Meanwhile Issei was running away from the twins while they chased him with their chainsaws.

Y/n: Seems like Issei is buying time to boost.

Issei then boosted his power and went for the twins. He slapped both of them as well as Mira while breaking her staff.

Issei then dropped to the floor to face them. His wings come out from his back and expanded then Issei started to some weird pose. The three pawns charged at him while Issei brought his gauntlet in front of him. He snapped his finger and the girls clothes started to rip apart from them, exposing them completely naked.

Sona and Tsubaki had disgusted looks on their faces while you and Lexie at the same time face palmed.

Y/n: So this is the secret move he was working on. That perverted moron.

Tsubaki: What a freak.

Lexie: Tell me about it.

Sona: Who knows, maybe his special move will work. Nothing will stop a girl in their tracks like having her clothes magically ripped off. But you're right, it's a little rapey.

Koneko and Issei ran out of the gymnasium. As soon as they left, a large lightning strike hit the top of the building destroying the gymnasium completely.

Y/n: Lightning?

You smirked.

Y/n: I bet that was Akeno.

Tsubaki showed everyone Akeno who was hovering in the sky with her arm raised up. Lightning crackled around her as she licks her fingers.

Grayfia: Three of Lord Riser's pawns and one of Lord Riser's rook. Retired.

Sona: I must say I'm impressed. Rias used an important strategic position to lure them into a trap, and then blew it sky-high. That was a bold move.

Tsubaki: You're right. Although, now Lord Riser has no choice but to unleash everything.

Sona: True. This battle's just begun.

Y/n: Hey Tsubaki, could you bring Kiba up on the screen.

Sona: I agree, I haven't seen him yet.

Tsubaki: Certainly.

Tsubaki made one of the screen show Kiba who had confronted three members of Riser's peerage.

Kiba drew his sword and attacked them.

Y/n: He's got this.

On one of the screen an explosion could be heard from it. You immediately looked and saw Koneko flying in the air. You watched wide eyed as she hits the ground.

Y/n: No...

Lexie had her hands over her mouth as Sona and Tsubaki gasp.

Issei had Koneko leaned up against him. They exchanged a few words until Koneko started to vanish. From watching it you could see Koneko cry out in pain.

You clenched your fist in anger as lightning crackled throughout your hand.

Lexie: Y/n you have to calm down, getting angry here ain't gonna accomplish anything.

You took a deep breath as your lightning faded from your hand.

You looked back at the screen and saw Yubelluna hovering above Issei.

Akeno came into view in front of Issei and faced Yubelluna. Akeno exchanged a few words to Issei, then face Yubelluna again. Issei ran to the new school building.

Grayfia: Three of Lord Riser's pawns. Retired.

Y/n: Dang. I'm impressed. He managed to beat all three of them.

On you of the monitors, you could Kiba make his way out of the forest and towards the new school building.

Tsubaki: Currently, the remaining pieces on Lord Riser's side have the advantage at nine. Lady Rias has only five players left.

Sona: They cannot afford to get careless, though.

You look at one of the monitor Issei and Kiba both made their way to the new school baseball field. When they arrived a woman in armor showed up who wielded a sword. Kiba decided to go up against her. Other members of Riser's peerage approached Issei.

Y/n: Names please.

Sona: Kiba is facing one Riser's knight, her name is Karlamine. The girls facing Issei are Isabel she's a rook. One of them is a knight, Siris. Riser's bishop, Mihae. Riser's last pawns, Ni and Li. And last but not least Riser's bishop and young sister, Ravel Phenex.

Y/n: Wait, did you say sister?

You looked at the blonde girl in the pink dress.

Riser's rook immediately charged Issei. Issei started to dodge her attacks to buy some time for his Boosted gear.

Y/n: Come on Issei. Hang in there.

Riser's rook connected a kick to Issei's stomach which made him fly backwards and land on his back. As Issei was getting up, she uppercutted him. You caught Issei Sacred Gear boosting due to the green light.

Issei got up and faced her while pointing his fist forward.

Kiba was exchanging blows with Riser's knight Karlamine. Her sword was currently ablaze. She slashed Kiba's sword and broke it in half. Kiba then made an ice blade appear on his sword which cracked and turned into a new blade.

Y/n: I didn't know he could do that. I mean not make a ice sword. What kind of Sacred Gear is that?

Sona: He can create magical swords at will. Sword birth.

Y/n: Dang, Sacred Gears sound so cool. Wish I had one.

You looked back at the battle.

Karlamine went to attack Kiba again. Their swords clashed together but Karlamine sword turned into ice and cracked. She backed off and pulled out a dagger which turned ablaze like her sword. She did a downward strike to Kiba's sword and broke it again. Kiba then summoned another blade onto the sword. This had a different shape then the others. The blade started to suck the flames away from Karlamine sword. Kiba went to slash her but she jumped back. Kiba knelt to the ground and placed his hand on the ground, multiple swords came out from the ground underneath Karlamine. She quickly jumped out of the way.

Y/n: Who knew Kiba had something like this up his sleeve.

You looked at one of the screens and saw Issei who was distracted by Kiba's abilities.

Isabela saw this and quickly punched Issei send him flying a couple feet backwards. Issei got up and his Sacred Gear lit up again. Issei aimed his hand towards Isabel for a Dragon Shot. He fired it but Isabela quickly jumped out of the way, the attack continued towards the forest and created a large explosion.

Isabela went for another punch but Issei dodged and punched her in the chest with little force. Issei snapped his finger again.

Y/n: Not this again.

You face palmed.

Isabella's clothes were torn apart completely, exposing her. Issei made a perverted then quickly fired another Dragon Shot that took her out.

Grayfia: One of Lord Riser's rooks. Retired.

Y/n: I am so gonna smack him hard on the head.

Issei first pumped then turned to Kiba who was bowing to Karlamine who looked at Issei with disgust.
