《Primorial Demon》A war no one wanted!

The time finally came and the shadow creatures were close to the school ground. For safety measurements I was keeping them away from the school by exterminating a couple of them every day. I didn't need them to go wild and attack random demons to get more mana and survive.

Me: Is everyone ready?

Kalego: The teachers are behind you.

Sullivan: The 13 crowns as well.

Opera: I had the students ready as well.

Everyone: We will follow our leader to the end!

Me: Let's not go this, far shall we?

Everyone was in the backyard of the school ready to take off. They all had their own position in this war. It was one where every life was at stake. If we were to lose that, then that would be the end of the demon as well as the angels seeing how I was the last one standing of them.

The misfit class was strong and stubborn so their mission was to not let any shadow creature come to close to the school. It was important to have them do that in case one slips past us and attacks the rest of the school. Not every demon was strong enough to follow us in the battle. I also had no intention of forcing them to do something they don't want and risk unnecessary more lives. Not only was it dangerous but reckless as well since it could cost our lives if they get stronger.

Needless to say, that I made sure that my class knew the importance.

I jumped up in the sky and the other demons only looked at me as I was hovering above them. They all looked in awe and gazed at me in admiration.

Me: Let's protect our home!

Everyone: Yeahhh!

I saw them rising their weapons up in the air before one by one from the front to the back flew up into the sky.

The 13 crowns as well as the staff members were our main force. It was only logical since I embedded their weapons with my mana. They were the only one that could assist me in the fight.

Once everyone was up on the air I began leading my small troop of warriors and protector the last defense that could safe us all to the battle field.

The student council was guarding and flying around the school. It was just in case if something was about to happen and everything was lost that they took the demons and abandoned the school.

I would rather abandon the school than actually lose a demon, a life, to these creatures.

Me: Everyone be careful!

We began approaching the creatures. It was only a huge mass of darkness but looking at them better one could see the outlines of their bodies.

Me: Misfits, fall back!

This was an order telling them that the war would soon start. It was also an indication of how close they were allowed to get to the true battlefield. A warning to be precisely and the consequences were something they for sure didn't wanted to find out.

After I told them that I was please and relieved to see them do as I say. I wouldn't have liked it to need to punish them in any kind of way nor did I wanted to see them lose their lives. It was my responsibility to make sure that they all get out of this alive.

Me: The darkest hour before the light

A hidden treasure plain in sight

For a moment standing still. Hear my call and answer to it Solace!

It was a rather simple incarnation and after I did that the sky began illuminating and a giant magic circle was formed above the shadow creature. Not long after that lightning bolts came down from the sky eliminating a huge number of shadow creature with one strike.

This was only the beginning as everyone quickly began flying down and attacking the monsters. I myself was hovering from above and began creating my light bow and shooting arrows at these creatures making sure that no one dies.

However, the numbers were not in our favor and so I decided to release some of my mana. This meant that my black wings started to glow and I was emitting some holy light before dropping down and cutting through these monsters with my wings. I also had the bow in my hand and began firing at every single one coming to close to one of my people.

Me: Hang in there!

I was not gonna lie but the situation didn't look good for us and so I flew up again and began summoning dome lightning spears to fall down on the enemy. Slowly but surely, we began erasing their number by repeating the steps over and over again.

First fire some lightning arrows then drop down cut through them and then summon some spears piercing them through.

The rest of the team was using their weapons and their wits survive and in the end, we managed to defeat every single one of them.

Me: Kalego catch me if I fall!

It was my last resort and last attack in this battle that saved us all. All I said was this to my dear teacher and familiar as well as protector. I hoped he knew what I meant once I started to fall down of the sky.

I was high above the battle ground and started concentrating on all the mana I had before releasing it into high intensified waves. These waves where enough to illuminate the sky for a bit. Simply said I could be referred to a second sky. Not only where my light rays coming from my wings warm as well bright but they were deadly for a shadow ad I began erasing them with my light.

There was one huge drawback. I was using up all my mana meaning if this didn't work we would be all dead but I had a feeling that it would and so I went ahead and did this.

Once I was done I could briefly see every single shadow gone before dropping and losing consciousness.

All I could bear was Kalego's scream as well as the other but it was his voice that was the closest to me. Maybe it was my imagination or it was because he was holding me tight but I could swear I heard his worried voice.

Kalego: You did well my King!

It was so odd since he never referred to me as king before just as kid. Not only that but his words gave me the impression that he was proud of me but yet his voice was sad and worried.

Me:... Tha...nk... You...

He was smiling at me and I lost conscious in his arms. It was chaotic and I knew everyone was coming towards me but I felt soo cold and tired that I didn't care.

The war ended after a whole day of a fight. If it would have gone on for much longer I was sure that a lot of demons wouldn't have made it out since the light element that I embedded in the weapon was starting to fade. This was another reason why I decided to risk everyone and put my whole energy into the last attack. It was my hard work and my soul behind it. I had something to protect that I didn't wanted to give up after all.
