《Primorial Demon》Who did that?!

Sullivan's POV:
It was only after Robin came into my office informing me that Iruma was being carried to the infirmary that my blood pressure went up and I felt ready to kill whoever was responsible for it.
Opera was following me close by as I rushed to the infirmary. Iruma wasn't any boy or any demon. He was special and I knew it. His wings were the key to what he was or what legends told us what he was supposed to be. He wasn't a demon like us. He was in fact a fallen angel like the first demon lord that came out of nowhere. This meant that he had all rights to the demon thrown himself.
However, there was this problem about his wings. They were damaged and from what I saw they were regenerating themselves. Though it wasn't an easy process. Each time they began healing themselves his body temperature would either rise or drop making him feel sluggish or weak. This was the reason I had Opera watching him at home.
Me: Who do I need to kill?
That was all I said after I opened the door. In there was Kalego and our healing staff that couldn't do anything to him.
Kalego: No one! Now calm down!
Opera: What happened?!
Kalego: Balam took him to the teacher's office and claimed he had no wings.
Me: Where is he?
Kalego: Back teaching his next class.
Opera: Thank you for telling me that. I'll see to it that he doesn't see the next morning sun rise.
Me: Hold on! This is not everything is it?
Kalego: No. He jumped out of the window and has several open wounds on his back.
The moment I heard that I knew what was happening. It happened once at home as well. This was the proofs of his wing's feathers growing back.

Me: Opera.
Thankfully I didn't need so say anything else and he immediately ushered everyone outside besides me and Kalego.
Kalego: You know what is going on.
Me: Everything you see and hear stays in this room.
Kalego: What are you hiding?
Me: Am I clear?
Kalego: Yes.
Me: He is a fallen one.
Kalego: WHAT?!
I went to Iruma's bed side and slightly began shaking him awake. It took me a while to manage that but once he was awake, I helped him sit up and removed everything from his torso.
Now sitting in an infirmary bed with a naked chest I nodded to him encouraging to release his wings. There was only soo much I could do for him.
Me: It's okay Iruma, my boy.
Iruma: Grand.. Pa...
He was panting from all the pain and I knew that if he released his wings or the base of them that he wouldn't suffer as much. It was important for him to do so.
Me: Go on.
His gaze shifted from me to Kalego. I knew he was scared and he didn't know what he was but that all the more reason not to tell him since he was basically royalty.
Me: It's okay. He won't judge and you are not getting in trouble.
Irima: Okay...
He slowly let the base of his wings grow and all that could be heard in the room was the noise of his skin ripping. It didn't take long to see the bones and the skin that was covered in small black feathers. There were actually feathers on them.
Last time I saw them his skin was burned and the bone was visible to anyone. He also had a broken wing as well as no feathers. All in all, it was a horrific sight.

Kalego: It can't be.
Me: Iruma you can lay down and rest now.
I knew how tired he was by just looking at the kid. Exhaustion was getting to him as well as the pain. He needed rest and it was Opera who gave him a wet towel and began cleaning his bloodied wings and back slightly right after I put him backdown.
Kalego: Where did you find him?
Me: In the woods terribly wounded.
Kalego: Does he know?
Me: No and I prefer that it stays this way.
Kalego: Do you know what happened?
Me: No and he doesn't remember his past at all too. I took him in wowing to protect and serve him since he is our rightful demon king.
Kalego: I understand.
It was at times like these that I was glad that I had a sharp teacher as my grandsons familiar. Something felt off with him though. It was the way he looked at Iruma that made me realize that. It was anxiety that I could see in them. He feared what would happen to Iruma ad he wasn't the only one that was.
Opera: Now back to the real tropic here! You mentioned that he jumped out of the window!?!
Kalego: I caught him in the nick of time but yes.
Opera: That doesn't sound like him. Even if someone finds out about his wings...
Me: I agree. Did something else happened previous to that?
Kalego: He had a panic attack.
Me: Did someone touch his back?
Kalego: I don't know. I came in seeing him on the ground and already having his panic attack.
Me: I see.
Opera: Could it be that he remembered something? Maybe something triggered it.
Me: That could be the case.
Kalego: I'll have a close eye for him from now on.
Me: Please do and as you can see right now next time he experiences something like this make him release his wings and rest.
Kalego: I will.
Opera: Should I inform the rest of the staff?
Me: No. Let them think that his wings were plugged.
Opera: Understand.
Kalego: I only hope that rumors won't spread.
After that I dismissed him and put Opera on guard duty right next to Iruma. I had a feeling that his last attempt of ending his life wasn't the last one and I was painfully aware of the fact that he did it intentionally. Opera knew it too as well as Kalego. Neither of us wanted to leave his side but I needed to go and do my job as the principal and Kalego had a class to teach and tame.

Blood Quest - A LitRPG
Leon's family has been diagnosed with a new type of incurable blood disease. It's an absolute death sentence and when it turns aggressive, you only have a few more years of painful life left to live. His mother has just begun the last years of the disease when a person supposedly comes back from death with supernatural abilities. He talks about a choice you get after death--get an extra chance to come back to life, or die. Even with Leon's diminishing life span, he won't consider the option of going there, until he meets another survivor who had the same goal as him and succeeded. Leon has a choice to make—die now for a chance to save his mother, or die in a few years, where the disease rapidly melts his muscles from his own body. He enters a game-like world, a sort of limbo, where his ultimate goal is to climb the tower of Katastroph before his mother's time runs out. There are a few problems with this though. The tower is almost impossible to beat, if you die you won't revive, and only three people in over twenty years have actually made it back. Leon has two years to climb the tower, with the help of the few people willing to try, while Ai, the tutorial guide, makes things harder for them. ***** The story starts pretty dark but goes onto a lighter tone. Then (more) dark again. Disclaimer: This story is an experimental project and I hope to get any and all feedback you can give me. Warning: First draft. Chapters tend to be between 3400-4100 words long (about 8-11 A4-pages). Mentioning it since I've seen it in other fictions :P Sometimes they're shorter, sometimes they're longer. ******************************** CHAPTER RELEASES UPDATE: As the first "book" in the series is done, I'm going to release coming chapters somewhat sporadically, and when Writathon ends, I'll probably go back to publishing one chapter per weekend. We'll just have to wait and see! I hope you enjoy the story! I really appreciate all comments and feedback, so if you have anything to say, feel free to voice it :) ************ [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

I prefer to do some background building while also balancing character development to deliver a good story so be prepared. I'm planning to write this novel for a long time while also adapting and learning to become better at it. Feedback will be appreciated and if editing is needed I will do my best.) Posting Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and possibly Sundays. Thanks from ianwest!
