《The Pig and the Frog》THREE

Tris is there. She made it. To her new home. She starts school tomorrow.
I made it. I turn around, examining the apartment I will now call my home. I made it!
I walk around the house, trying to find a room to "claim." I walk down the hallway and open the first door on the right.
It's the master bedroom and I know my parents won't let me have that one. So I exit, and go to the next room. I open the door in that room and walk in. It's a large room, with one window and a closet. It doesn't seem to bad, but I'm not getting positive vibes in this room.
Without a word, I exit and go to the last bedroom. It's smaller than the other room, but has a bathroom in it? The walls are a light shade of purple, and the closet is big. A window sits right on the wall front of me. I have a view of a field filled with small flowers.
"This room is perfect!" I mumble to myself. I look around the room, already placing furniture I'm going to buy around the room-at least in my head. I start laughing to myself. "Caleb! I'm claiming the purple room!" I yell, towards the living room, still admiring my new room.
I head out to the truck to grab some of the stuff I brought with me. My small black nightstand is the first thing I grab. I sold most of my furniture but I refused to sell this one thing. I bring it into my room, and set it against the back wall. I kneel down and open up the drawer. I take out a two pictures.
One of them is me, when I was six. It was a few weeks before I left. I was in a play, and they took a close up picture of me. I had to sing in front of everyone. I was aching with stage fright! But before I got on stage, Toby hugged me and told me I could do it. I need to stop! I'm going to get hurt. Just like last time.

The other picture is of me and my ex boyfriend Peter. I meant to take it out of the frame a while ago, but I haven't had much time. I place it on the nightstand and use it as a reminder, never trust anyone. They just use you, and break you more. More than I am already.
I walk back out to the car and grab my blankets and pillows, the picture of Toby and I, and my Polaroid. That Polaroid is my favorite. It takes really nice pictures, and it's perfect for me wanting to be a photographer.
Maybe Tobias and I can be friends. That sounds good enough. Maybe we can share memories we have. I doubt I'll have butterflies, I mean, it was just a childhood crush.

Hey guys! Up top is a REALLY crappy picture of the pictures 😂I made it in like two minutes, clearly.
How do y'all like the story so far.

The Casual
Notice: On hiatus. *profanity tag added just in case a bit of swearing is required, but I'll try to keep it as profanity-lite as possible* RealWorldIII came with the motto "Bringing the imagination back into the gaming" with an innovative skill combination system that promises to create unique (see: not-actually-unique) characters tailored to each player's preferences (see: we-swear-it's-not-random) Alex is a random guy with the motto "Well... whatever" with a history of being at the top of the gaming scene (see: he was a kid back then) that after twenty years of working for daily necessities finds himself facing a tough dilemma: do I go back to being a corporate slave, or do I gain money by playing a game no questions asked? (see: not really a dilemma) The only question is, can an actual "casual", even if ex-pro, survive constantly playing a game? or will he end banging his head on the wall? The story will unfold mainly in-game, with little if any real life events happening.

Zeke Herald, Goblin Slayer
Zeke wakes up inside a small cavemouth, no memories or direction, just the will to live. Also, he's smack dab in the middle of a forest that's teeming with ugly little goblins. The only good goblin is one with a sword sticking out of it, as my father used to say. I tried to incorperate LitRPG elements. I'm only recently introduced to the genre, but I find it really fasinating! So intrigued I even started writing a little story expressing my joy of all things numerical! This story has a focus on hardwork and deliberate progression, no magical deus ex machinas here sorry.

System Supervillain
I was there when it happened. When the walls of reality came crashing down upon us. When everything changed. I was there. I watched it happen. There wasn’t anything I could do, of course. When two veritable demigods are fighting to the death, getting caught in between is a great way to end up very dead. Or worse. That’s when it happened. Raw time crashed with pure paradox, and the universe itself screamed in torment. Night turned to day turned to yesterday and tomorrow and blue and yellow and whale and petunia, and then it snapped back, all at once, with a thunderous roar that was not heard but felt. And then I saw the blue box for the first time. ------------ A System Apocalypse event happens in a world of superheroes, like you would see in the comic books. What happens when the world changes, and heroes and villains are now bound by a System that limits their powers? What will change, and what will remain the same? This story will incorporate Champions/HERO System 5th Edition rules. There will be dice rolls determining the action, and blue boxes with lots of crunchy numbers. If you're not down for that, there are plenty of other stories on this site that you'll like. But if that sounds fun to you, then welcome aboard, and I invite you to see what happens when someone becomes a System Supervillain.

Fabrication
Welcome to the Winter Sector. This is your first time here, isn’t it? Waking up in the lands of snow with little to no thoughts of your past must be rough. Don’t worry, you aren’t alone. The vast plains of snow hold dominant around here, little to no bumps to be seen, no hills or craters. A white desert. Mountain ranges can be seen from afar. A forest somewhere down a cliff. Rare caverns here and there. Also, structures can be found abandoned. Going through these white lands is dangerous alone, perhaps get yourself a guide, or hold a map and a compass. But no matter how better you traverse, the abstracted distance would never change. If you had the unlucky start of waking up here, then let’s hope you find someone to give you clothes and shelter. The is beyond survivable. Unlike the other sectors, the Winter Sector doesn’t care to make things easy for newcomers. There are going to be tons of questions, most of which would be unanswered until you reach the end of the road. Unnatural things, abnormal dreams, anomalous scenes. This isn’t the world you were born in. Though it might look it, it won’t act like it.
