Seeing Soviet standing there, you notice yourself relax almost immediately. Jumping a little, you calm down once you see Thea standing behind you, ushering you to follow her.
"So, we are going to fix you up now, come along." Thea says, walking into her room. Thea and Belarus fix you up, your hair is now [desired length] and you got a proper shower while Thea and Belarus picked out your clothes, which is a pair of dark grey jeans, a red shirt, and a white hoodie.
"Wait where are we going?" You ask while Thea and Belarus start getting in the car. They look at eachother and almost as if it were timed, they both say "mall"
Halfway to the mall, the three of you see a blue and red portal open up, and Thea slams on the brakes just enough so that the almost lifeless body crashes onto the hood of the car, though not denting it.
Thea widens her eyes and runs out of the car, slamming the door shut. You and Belarus follow suit. Already feeling your nervousness begin to overcome you, you almost tell Thea something, but she says "SARA!"
"You know her?" Belarus asks, confused. "Yeah, help me get her in the car." Thea says. The two of them get the girl, Sara, in the car. Piling back in the vehicle, you drive off back to Soviet's house.
You and Belarus put Sara onto the sofa in the living area. Third Reich was nowhere to be found, yet. Soviet was suprised to see Sara too, even Ukraine. Thea notices something unsettling, but waits a bit.
Sara begins to twitch, and she blinks her eyes open. She first stares up at the ceiling, but then Sara and Thea engulf eachother in a hug. "I missed you!" Sara cried with a scratchy voice, crying.

"S-sara, if you don't mind, can you tell me where y-you were before arriving her" you ask. Sara then seems to remember something, but Reich walks back into the room. Smirking, Reich slowly walks closer to Sara.
Putting an arm in front of him, Thea growls "stay away from her," Third Reich puts his hands up in defense, and seems to glitch out, but you rub your eyes and he's already walking out the door.
Sara finishes her glass of water and begins to explain. "So, after you left, the.....scientist started a new project. He called it project zodiac, and his first two experiments were me and this other girl named Nora." She lifts the sleeve on her hospital gown to show a burn mark in the shape of the Leo zodiac sign.
"I'm a Leo, and Nora was a Gemini, the tests gave us both parts of a spirit animal associated with the zodiac. Nora got the ears, tail, and sharp teeth of a wolf while i got the ears, tail, sharp teeth, and claws of a panther."
Looking over to Thea, you both exchange knowing glances. You know what you have to do now.
~~
Putting the last piece on the structure, you and Thea finish building the machine. "You ready?" Thea asks you. "Yeah, let's go find Nora" you say, holding Sara's hand so the two of you don't get seperated.
Sara got a change of clothes and a proper shower earlier, and you have your machete on your side. Saying bye to everyone, you and Sara brace yourselves for the impact, but cease when there is none.
You find yourself back in the dreaded halls of the lab, but the lights are dimmed and it looks as if it were a horror movie. Suddenly, you both see a girl run across the hall ahead of you, you see that she has chestnut/sandy brown hair, grey and brown ears and tail, and she is wearing a hospital gown. You weren't able to see her eyes though.

"Nora?" Sara says, walking towards the room that the strange girl ran into. Stepping into the room, you and Sara see tons of weird signs painted on the walls. In the corner stands the same girl, scared out of her wits but seeing Sara, she visibly relaxes.
You look over to Sara, your face already showing what you want to ask her. "Yes, she can speak, she just doesn't." Sara says.
"Let's go home," Sara says, holding her hand out to Nora. Suddenly, a red and blue portal appears behind Sara, and pulls her in. Shaken, you feel your body freeze up. Scared, angry, and sad, you reach for Sara but it's no use.
The portal is gone as quickly as it had appeared.

I'm Always Talking to Myself
My name is Zach. I’m a typical bland featureless protagonist type. The kind of guy who has purposefully few defining characteristics so that people can project whatever they want on me. Like Luke from Star Wars or what’s her name from Twilight. Most main characters are like me. Kind of flavorless blank slates because we all secretly doubt that we’re Harrison Ford, but pretty much anyone could be Mitt Romney. Yep. Yes indeed, I do spend basically my entire life running an internal dialog to no one. Usually I’m imagining that there are people listening. Like maybe philosophers from Ancient Greece, or researchers from another planet who act suspiciously like the characters from that Instagram comic with the aliens. Stupid Instagram comedians stealing my internal monologue and turning into a wildly successful enterprise which I would imagine has a vibrant merch dropshipping arm and hundreds of thousands of daily dopamine hits for loyal followers. I basically spend all of my time explaining random things to imaginary people (and aliens, and animals, and household items which have inexplicably gained sentience and frankly have some concerns about this whole existence thing). Honestly, it’s both highly entertaining to me, in that it makes me think about why we humans do all of the bizarre things that we do, but also horrifically exhausting and kind of makes you feel like you’re either, worst cast, losing your grip on reality, or best case, becoming Abed from Community. Anyway, I’m sure that I have some distinguishing characteristics, but, in the interest of hypnotic suggestion I’m choosing to omit them until I’m pretty sure that you have subconsciously come to identify with me, or until I feel like it. (By the way, in case I forgot to mention it, a higher power called Aww Thor or something told me to say that this is a slice-of-life comedy adventure and that it's set in a fantasy world with isekai and LitRPG elements.)

Will was a normal guy in his mid twenties, living in small town America. He was relatively aimless. Then he got struck by lightning. Waking up reminded him why falling asleep in strange places had stopped being a pleasant adventure for the next day, years before. Then, the crazy started. Life would never be the same, but he wasn't aimless anymore. Plus, you know, super powers are cool. Warning: There will be swearing and casual conversation about subjects that might have some people clutching their pearls. There will be dirty jokes. There will not be graphic depictions of sexual activity, or harem shenanigans, as I'm making my mother read this. That would be very uncomfortable.
