Chris

When we finally finish up in the bathroom, there is water everywhere. Katia wanted to hold the shower head but perhaps it got too heavy for her. I'm not sure, but she dropped it and water sprayed everywhere. I tried to make light of the situation but she's clearly upset over it. I tried to reassure her it was okay. It's just water. No harm done. I finished helping her into clean clothes and changed out of my own wet clothes. The door opens and Liv walks in. Her and Tori. They both look nervous and with reason. The last time they were here, Katia didn't really welcome them with open arms. By the look on my grumpy girl's face this time will be no different.

"Hey Chris. Kat." Olivia offers a small smile.

"Hey guys." Tori waves.

"Hey, you two." I say.

"Why are you wearing my hoodie?" Katia asks looking at Tori.

Tori looks down at her sweatshirt. "I'm not."

"That's mine, Kitty." Olivia gently corrects her.

Katia frowns. She looks confused before shaking her head. "Anyway. What do you want?"

"Why are you being so mean to me?" Liv asks.

"Why weren't you at my wedding?" Katia asks in response.

Tori and I stand by silently and awkwardly watch the two of them exchange stares.

"I was on my way, Kat. I'm sorry." Liv steps closer to Katia's bed. Her defenses are visibly lowered. "I know I should have been there from the beginning."

"You should have and you weren't! This is all your fault. If you would have just stopped being such a..." Katia stops and strains her brain for the word she wants to use, "BRAT! This wouldn't have happened. But noooooo. I'm Liv and I'm sad because Katia doesn't like me back. Wah wah wah." "Katia." I say.

She looks at me with tears in her eyes. It's clear she blames Olivia for the situation she's in now. I don't think that's completely fair but I won't say that right now.

"Yeah!" Liv shouts back. "My feelings were hurt Kat. So what? I got over it. I got over you and I swallowed my pride and I was trying to make it to your wedding. You don't think I blame myself for this??" Liv starts crying before running out of the room.

"Liv." Tori tried to stop her but Olivia pushes her away and leaves. Tori turns back to Kat and I. "She does blame herself."

"She should." Kat says nonchalantly.

"You shouldn't be so hard on her!" Tori stands up for Olivia. "She hasn't been eating or sleeping this whole thing happened. She hates herself."

"Well... I hate her too." Katia said simply. "Are you sure that's not my hoodie?"

"Yes I'm sure! It's Olivia's." Tori gets a little offensive.

"Still. Why are you wearing it??" Katia asks. I mean it is a bit odd.

"I just... stayed over her place yesterday and I needed something to wear." Tori seems fidgety now. "It doesn't matter. You need to apologize to her."

"Because she has it so bad? No. You can stay if you want Tori but I don't want to see her." Katia folded her arms and stared straight ahead at the wall. It was clear to myself and Tori that her mind was made up.

"Okay. I'll let her know." Tori said somberly before she left.

"Babe." I say when we're alone again.

"Don't." Katia snaps but then her face softens. "Please. I know." She says.

"Okay." I let it go for now but we'll talk about this later.
