"Everybody gather around! We final have a new addition to the family." Kyra Hill announced as the four of us, who were the staff members, all assembled towards the corner of the counter to see what she was introducing.

I peered over at Olivia, my best friend, inquisitively to see that she mirrored my expression. "Tada!" I peeled off my gaze from Olivia and turned to see what was presented.

"The hell? It's just a phone." I furrowed my eyebrows to see that everyone's widened eyes stared back at me. I nonchalantly shrugged, until I realized what I had just said out loud, "Uh, what I meant was, whoever thought of this was an underrated genius. They are way too smart to be working here."

Kyra glared back at me, "Anyways. This is our new landline and the new number has already been posted on the website, so expect to deliver and take orders soon." I sighed as Elijah groaned beside me in response, which also caused me to give a low chuckle.

"So here's how it will go from now on." Kyra, my deputy manager and stepsister, informed as she grabbed her clip board and read off of it. "Olivia will handle the counter and serve the customers, Elijah and Emerson will take the orders and deliver them. Then with Lorelei, you will serve the customers and handle the landline." I nodded my head, biting my cheek, to stop from making any remarks.
