"How is Kuroko?!" Kagami asks as soon as he sees the doctor come out from the operation room.

"You need to calm down first. I will explain to all of you right away." The doctor says. Hyuga pulls Kagami to the back, giving the doctor space to walk toward the chair where everyone is waiting. As soon the doctor arrive, everyone corners the Doctor, waiting for the report.

"Thank goodness, we able to revive him back to live" everyone let out a relief sigh.

"But.." at this they become caution.

"He still not stable yet. He fall to comatose and because of the late treatment on reviving him, half of his body paralyze, he cannot walk anymore. We still maintaining his body temperature and because of his weak antibodies, he is having a high fever right now. We will do our best on treating him to health." The doctor explains.

Everybody is silent.

"When will he be coming around?" Momoi asks suddenly.

"I can't predict. Either he will wake or not. The possibility is too low" The doctor says.

"...why Tetsu-kun... why...?!" Momoi fall to the ground and keep on screaming, blaming herself.

"Satsuki. You need to calm down. Satsuki!!" Aomine tries to speak to her but she just didn't listen anymore.

"Calm down Momochii..!" Kise shouts.

"You can be like this. Hear me" Riko holds on Momoi's hand but being slap away instantaneously.

"Hold her on the legs." Akashi says as he hold on Momoi's both hand. Everyone is there to stop Momoi from keep on trashing around.

"Nurse!" the doctor call for nurse to give injection to calm Momoi down. A nurse run toward them fast and start injecting Momoi. Momoi unconscious as soon the nurse inject her.

The nurse asks for the boys to pick on Momoi and brings her to a hospital bed inside a special room. They follows.

"I can belief this happen to us." Murasakibara complains, for once he looks not himself.

"This is very bad for everyone. We too are nearly can't accept what Kuroko's condition is in." Midorima brush his hair to the back. Everyone look troublesome and unmanaged on their self. They silent, thinking the possibility what will happen next on their own mind. No words get exchange after that.

Two week passed. Kuroko still in his comatose state, leaving everyone in misery especially Momoi and Aomine who still blaming themselves although the other already forgive them. They still can't satisfy before getting Kuroko's forgiveness.

His fever keeps on coming and going. Although he already declare as stable but there is not even a sign showing that he will wake up. Everyone is still hoping and holding on Kuroko's word, to never give up in everything.

There are a lot of wires decorating Kuroko's fragile body, the heart monitor, breathing kit, IV and few wires on his head. Everything is connecting to him only to monitor his health, also as a precaution step on preventing the tumor in his head to increase rapidly. His pale bluish skin already has its red color, leaving Kuroko to look not as sickly as when he being found by them.

Kuroko has been moved to ICU room, which securer and top priorities are given to the patient. Visitors need to wear protective suits and clean their hands first before visiting and it is limited to only 2 people in one time. A person who is sick is banded from entering the room. This term already told them that Kuroko is so fragile now; even an attack from viruses or bacteria can kill him right away.

Today is the day that Kise and Aomine are visiting Kuroko. They sit beside Kuroko bed, holding tightly the tealnette's skinny hand, which loss it response in it since 2 week ago.

"Nee Kurokochii.. Why are you sleeping for so long? I missed your blue sky eyes, your smile, wake nee?" Kise begs to Kuroko.

Silent...

Kise hoping look change into hurt one.

"This is not fair Kurokochii.. why.. why are you keep us waiting like this? Don't you want to wake up?!"

Kise can't hold his emotion anymore. It is him for being an emotional type and of course he being emotional because the one who laying on the bed now is his mentor, the person who he always look up too.

Of course Aomine feels the same; he can't even change his facial expression now, a sad, angry yet troublesome.

"Tetsu.. I am sorry. If you can't accept my sorry, I only wish one other thing from you. I know I am not worth being your friend because I have made you suffering without me even knowing it. But.. I only wish you to open your eyes, live your lives back just like before. Enjoy your every moment with us." Aomine says with wavering voice, holding his emotion back.

Silent..

Knowing that they never get an answer back from their precious friend, they close their eyes, lowering their head accompany by a pain expression.

A nurse comes in.

"There another two people want to visit the patient now. They are waiting outside." The nurse says with a warm smile.

"Alright, thanks for the remainder." Kise smiles weakly at the nurse.

Kise turns to Aomine, waiting for the man response but he didn't get any.

"Aominechii.. we need to go." Kise touches Aomine's hand and says. Slowly Aomine rise up his head.

"I don't want to leave Tetsu yet. You can go first." Aomine says with low voice, change his face toward Kuroko.

Kise understand the situations. He just nods his head once and leave Aomine accompany Kuroko there.

The door being open suddenly, Akashi and Momoi are ready to enter the room but stop at once as the only see Kise alone going out from the room.

"Where is Aomine-kun?" Akashi asks.

"He didn't want to leave Kurokochi yet, maybe we should just leave him be" Kise says.

"But I want to be beside Tetsu-kun too" cries Momoi.

"You can enter, Momoi-chan. I will wait outside." Akashi says as he smile warmly at Momoi, to give support the near breaking woman. Momoi and Aomine are the most affected by Kuroko sudden dropping condition. Looking only a look at them, can tell anybody that they didn't even take care of themselves.

"Thank you, Akashi-kun. I will go first."Momoi says as she walk entering the room.

"Alright." Akashi says.

"Don't forget to use the sanitizer first!" Kise advices Momoi, which Momoi nods in understood.

"Shh.. Keep your voice low Kise-kun" Akashi advices to Kise.

Kise rubs his back head. "haha.. sorry sorry. I forgot that we at the hospital."

Akashi just sigh.

He should just know how Kise will react at any place.

"Anything from Tetsu-kun?" Momoi asks to Aomine, who are currently lying his head on the side of hospital bed while holding Kuroko's fragile hand tightly.

Shocked by the sudden question, Aomine immediately rise his head and look at the source of the sound.

"You scare me, Satsuki" Aomine complains.

"Sorry" Momoi give apologetic look at Aomine.

"Aomine turns back to Kuroko then answer Momoi's question before. " No, no reaction nor movement has Tetsu made yet. He didn't even move his eyes. He just sleep there like nothing happen." Aomine explains.

Momoi sit on the other side of the bed and hold Kuroko's face with her right hand.. "Tetsu-kun.. When are you going to wake up? It's already too long for a short nap. You should wake up now. We are waiting for you." Momoi says as her tears fall down her cheek. The regret still inside her, for leaving Kuroko alone, for taking too long on finding Kuroko. If she be faster the other day, nothing this bad will ever happen to Kuroko.

"......." Nothing. Only the beeping sound of heart monitor engulfing the room.

Momoi cries become harder.

Aomine let go of Kuroko's hand and walk toward Momoi, holding the girl body, to give the support that the girl need now, when she feeling down. Just like he always do in the old days.

"Everything is going to be okay. I believe Tetsu will wake up. We just need to wait patiently and keep on believe in him" The words that he is saying now is for himself too. He is trying to believe that Kuroko is going to wake up and giving them the sweet smiles of him, telling then that he is the shadow of everyone, always supporting everyone despite his low present.

"I...I keep on having nightmare. I dream .. dream of Tetsu-kun.. Tetsu-kun is saying goodbye to us." Momoi says between her sobs.

Aomine stun hearing this. "Don't ever say that. Tetsu will not going anywhere. He will be with us, as usual. No way he going to leave us. Stop dream about the weird things. It just you brain playing with your emotion." Aomine says as he rubs Momoi's hair to the back, reassuring everything is going to be fine.

Momoi close her eyes for a while and wipe all her tears. "Yeah, you're true. There is no way Tetsu-kun is going to leave us. It's my fault for thinking too much."Momoi smiles and returning Aomine's comforting hugs.

After few seconds, they let go of each other. "Now, let's us tell funny story to Tetsu-kun. I'm sure he can hear us although he is sleeping right now." Momoi says as she sit back on the chair and start her conversation with Kuroko. Aomine joins them too.

That night, when everyone is already sleeping. A certain tealnette start to move his eyes from side to side although his eyelid still close. Inside the room there Momoi and Aomine sleeping on the couch on the other side of the bed.

Slowly, the tealnette's fingers start to move. Later, his eyelid is opening slowly.
