'Hello' - thought

All of Kuroko's friends including Kiseki no Sedai and Seirin are waiting for him outside of the emergency room; some of them are standing and some of them sitting on a chair, all of them remain silent, letting their mind to elsewhere, not daring to say a word in this critical situation. Kuroko has brought there half an hour ago. The light of an emergency is still on and they are waiting for someone to come out from the room patiently, but no one could calm themselves.

After a minute passed, the light of emergency been shut. Notice this; all of them move their body position, ready for someone to come out from the door. They need to know what happen to Kuroko, is he alright and what have made him become sick like that. They just need to know the truth.

Then, the door of the emergency room being open, revealing a man with a white coat. He is the doctor that treats Kuroko a while ago. All of them circling the doctor that cause the doctor a bit uneasy. As soon as they standing in front of the doctor, they start asking questions, too many questions.

"Doctor, How Kuroko? Is he alright? "Kagami asked desperately.

"Is Kurokochii breathing again? Why does he stop breathing? Why is he look can't control himself ?" Kise asked with one breath.

"Why is he sick? Could you detect his sickness?" Aomine asked too.

"You have to save Tetsu-kun, right?" Satsuki asked with a hurt expression.

"All of you need to give some space to the doctor and let him explain one by one. We need to keep calm." Akashi said with his stern voice.

"Akashi is right, the doctor couldn't say anything if you keep asking questions to him," Riko said, agreeing with Akashi. After hearing this, both Kiseki no Sedai and Seirin do what their captain and coach said. The doctor gave out a relief sigh.

"What an attack you gave me. Thanks" the doctor said and smiling toward Riko and Akashi for helping him.

"Doctor, can you give the details of Kuroko's condition? We really need to know it" Hyuga said with seriousness mixed with worry tone in his voice.

"Before I explain about this, could I know where his parents or his relative? I need to talk to them too" the doctor said while wondering around. All he could see just a bunch of students, there is no adult at all.

"That's right; have you guys call for Kuroko's parents?" Tsuchida asked while looking toward the Kiseki no Sedai. Why he is referring to Kiseki no Sedai is because they don't have any information about Kuroko's parents. Kuroko never tells them about his parents as well as in his form when he registering for Seirin basketball club.

The question makes all of the Kiseki no Sedai fall too deep silent. The one who broke the silent is Midorima. "His parents are dead because they involve in a fire accident at their house eight years ago when Kuroko still eight years old. He has been sent to an orphanage but when he reached ten, he starts to live alone. "

This cause Seirin to gasped in horror, they never thought this happen to Kuroko because Kuroko always pretending nothing bad ever happen to him, but in reality, it proves the contrary.

"If that's the case, I will just explain it to all of you," The doctor said. Then, he receives nodded from all of Kuroko's friends. The doctor takes a deep breath and starts to explain.

"He is having a seizure, which is the reason why he stopped breathing and his body part jolt out. The main cause still unknown but from my experience, if someone has this type of seizure, the person might have some sickness that related to his brain. Did he have sickness these few weeks? "The doctor said as he asked them later on.

Kagami is the one who explains to the doctor since he is the closest person to Kuroko now. "I noticed that he continuously vomit each day, especially after practice. Today, we just know that he always having a bad headache on morning and night. Moreover, he also not as sharp and sometimes mistaken something been placed in front of him, just like today when he extends his hand toward another place although the bottle that given by Hyuga is in front of him. Maybe he is having bad eyesight more lately. "

The doctor nodded and said "It more serious than I think. Why haven't he do a checkup sooner?"

"That is because he avoiding going to, he said he is fine but before he was having a seizure, we have forced him to do a checkup which he agrees. Too bad that he unconscious before we can take him" Riko said with a look of regret.

"Oh, I see. Alright, I will do a CT scan on Kuroko to make sure what happen to his brain. For now, he is alright. I have given him anti-seizure medicine and some inject him a painkiller medicine. He is asleep now and may be extended to one night. You may visit him at room 056 but please don't disturb his sleep "The doctor said before he excused himself.

Seirin and Kiseki no Sedai silent, let the information that been said by the doctor, sink in their brain.

"It's my fault. I am the one who triggers it" Kise said with a pain expression. He feels guilt with a mix of worried toward Kuroko.

Kagami brushes his head and lets out a sigh. Then, he looks at Kise and said "It's true that you made him mad but this is not a thing that we could avoid. It thanks to you, finally, we could bring him here, although it's not a good one."

"Taiga is right, don't blame yourself Ryouta." Akashi agreeing with Kagami, followed by the others nodded their head in agreement, not forgetting a reassuring smile.

Kise smile at them back. "Thanks, guys. I love you" Kise wailing and hug all of them been accompanied by a river of tear from his eyes.

"Ahh! Snap out of it damn-Kise!" Aomine shouted, feel a bit annoyed also a relief.

"Now, let's visit Kuroko," Hyuga said.

"Let's go!" The rest of them shouted.

Kuroko's eyes slowly open and he blinks a few times to let his vision focus. He feels so refreshing; it's been awhile since he could have a good sleep. Then, he moves his head to his right side, only to be welcomed by his sleeping friends, both Seirin and Kiseki no Sedai. Some of them sleeping on the couch, and there also who sleeping in sitting position on the wall. The room has been reserved only for Kuroko; there are no other patients in the room. It has been requested by Akashi so that they could resemble in the room and also he want to make sure Kuroko feel more comfortable.

Feeling weird with his surrounding, he observed the room again. Then, he raises his hand which having an IV on it. That time is when he noticed there are breathing mask on his face.

'I am in the hospital? What happened?' Kuroko thought to himself as he tried to remember what the last things have happened to him. At that instant, he remembered it. The last thing before he could control himself, what have Kise was done and how their match ends up.

Kuroko instantaneously changes his lying position to sitting position. At that time is when he spot that Kise is sleeping on the chair next to his left side with his head and hands on the bed. His eyes widen and he start to moving his body to the edge of the bed, ready to get up from the bed but the wires around him stop his movement. He removed all of the wires roughly and when he roughs the IV out, some of his blood spurts out from his hand. He ignored it and continues to get up from bed. Suddenly, someone holds his hand tightly.

"Kurokochii, where are you going? You are still recovering. You need to rest more" Kise shout as he gave a worried look toward Kuroko. Akashi, Riko, Hyuga and Midorima start to wake up after hearing Kise shout.

"Let go of me Kise-kun," Kuroko said while letting his eyes being covered by his hair.

"No, I will never let go of you if you don't want to get back on the bed. You really need more rest Kurokochii". Kise tries to persuade Kuroko at the same time urging Kuroko to stay in bed.

"I don't want, I want to go home," Kuroko stated.

"Tetsuya, you still need to stay here. The doctor will never let you go if we didn't get the result of what causing you to have a seizure. All of us here want to help you" Akashi said to Kuroko as he walking toward Kuroko and held Kuroko's shoulder, hoping for the bluenette understanding.

"I am fine now. All I want is to go home!" Kuroko shouted, causing the rest of Kiseki no Sedai and Seirin to wake up. They look confuse with the situations that happen in front of them but they know something is wrong. It is not usual to see Kuroko get angry.

"You need to keep calm Kuroko-kun. I am sure everything will be alright. You will be released from this hospital in a few days. Don't worry okay?" Riko tries to reassure Kuroko with her bright smile. She doesn't want to stress his friend anymore. It will only worsen the bluenette condition. Hearing this, Kuroko just stay silent in his position.

"Your hand is bleeding! I will call for a nurse now" Hyuga said as he ran exiting the room.

"Hoi Kuroko, What are you think huh? Escaping from the hospital?" Kagami spoke out. He already standing in front of Kuroko and punch a bit on Kuroko's head, but it was a weak one, just to warning the bluenette.

Suddenly, Kagami is being pushed by Murasakibara.

"Don't treat Kurokochin like that?" Murasakibara said with his usual bored tone voice. Then, he slowly let his hand in between Kuroko's armpit. He rose Kuroko up and moves Kuroko's body to the bed again. He makes sure that Kuroko's in comfortable with his position.

"Rest, for now, Kurokochin," Murasakibara said as he brushes the bluenette hair.

"Thank you Murasakibara-kun" Kuroko thanks.

"Do you want to eat, Kuroko? We will buy some food for you" Tsuchida, Furihata and Fukuda asked in unison. Mitobe, Koganei and Kawahira nodded their head in agreement.

Kuroko nodded his head and said "One Vanilla Milkshake, please"

"Are your head really working Kuroko? Don't buy him that, buy food and I do mean nutritious food." Midorima said to the group of Seirin members. They nodded their head and said "Alright!".

And,Next, they were exiting the room.

Hyuga comes back with a nurse behind him, the nurse treats Kuroko's wound and left the room, not before giving him a bunch of lecture for making himself injured. Kuroko just holds his emotionless face. Some of his friends are laughing, looking at Kuroko being a lecture. It is a rare one.

"How do you feel right now Kurokochii?" Kise asked Kuroko, slowly moving his hand to rub Kuroko's hand, only to slap by Kuroko.

"Don't touch me?" Kuroko said with a stern voice. Once again, he let his eyes being hidden under his blue bang. All of them shocked with Kuroko's sudden attack.

"Kuroko, why are you acting like that toward Kise?" Izuki asked with unbelief look. This is not their usual Kuroko.

Kuroko just keeps on silent and look away.

Satsuki comes beside Kuroko and held his other hand, she then said "Are you really okay, Tetsu-kun? "

Kuroko looks at Satsuki and smiles a bit, "I am fine".

"Then, why are you treating Kise like that?" asked Aomine, looking straight at Kuroko with a confused look. Kuroko never treats Kise rough before. And again Kuroko let the question passed without answering it.

"You are angry with me right, Kurokochii?" Kise said while looking at the ground with pain expression, his voice crack too. Kuroko just keeps silent, he never looks at Kise awhile now.

"The silent showing me what I said is true, right Kurokochii? Then, I will excuse myself. I am sorry Kurokochii for what have I done. " Kise said as he standing then he starts to walk away. Kagami followed Kise exiting the room.

"Hey, Kise! Stop for awhile. Hear me" Kagami said as he tried to chase Kise who just walking fast through the hospital corridor. Hearing this, Kise stopped his movement, his head still hung low.

"Kuroko maybe mad at you but it didn't mean that he hates you. Maybe he needs some time to recover. He is quite stressful right now. "Kagami said try reassuring Kise that everything will be alright back as usual.

"Maybe you're right. I will come visit him again if he wants to look at me" Kise said with his forceful smile accompanied by his pain look. Then he started to walk again.

Kagami looks at Kise worriedly. As the blond start to disappear from his sight, he shouted "Don't forget to have a visit again! You have promise!"

The result of the CT scan on Kuroko have come out, the representative has been called among Kuroko's friends. Riko and Akashi are the ones goes seeing the doctor in his room.

"The thing that I fear most is already happening. I am sorry for this, I hope you can accept the thing that I am going to say" the doctor said after they have greeted each other.

"What is it, Doctor? Is it bad?" Riko asked, worriedly.

"Please proceed," Akashi said, with a serious tone.

"Kuroko is having a brain tumour on his brain stem. It's already stage 4"The doctor said while showing the image of Kuroko's brain. There is a lump as big as chestnut on Kuroko's brain stem. Both of them gasp in horror.

"S-stage 4?" Riko stuttered with her horror look.

"How it goes unnoticed? He is fine before, it just happening a week. It can't be stage 4 already" Akashi asked with disbelief look.

"Brain tumour always goes unnoticed as it growing on someone's head. This case happened to patients who are having a brain tumour. But I never thought that Kuroko's have already stage 4. Usually, patients will start to detect it in stage 3. Maybe he has been enduring it for a long time before but it goes noticed by all of you just in this week" The doctor explains again.

"Can we do something to Tetsuya? Can you do a surgery, right? Remove the tumour from his head."Akashi said with a mix of desperate tone.

"We can't" Riko mumbled slowly, she looks like at the edge of crying.

"What do you mean by can't? I can pay for him to remove the tumour from Tetsuya's head "Akashi cut Riko's mumbled.

"She is right, it will just risk more than healing. The brain stem is impossible to be surgery since it controls vital life functions and can easily damage. The only treatment that I will suggest is Chemotherapy and Radiation" the doctor said.

"Then do it. Do Chemotherapy and Radiation therapy. I want you to save Tetsuya. I will pay for all of the expenses" Akashi stated.

"I will".
