《Sunshine (Sun x Child Reader)》☀️ Chapter 27 ☀️

"Wait.. Sun umm.. how are you gonna fit through the vent?" You ask, realizing the vent could probably only fit a child or a thin adult. "Hmm. I'll try find another way around. You'll have to go on without me." Sun said sadly, looking around the room for any other way in. "I cant do this alone!" You shout nervously. "AHEM." Gregory clears his throat from behind you. "What am I? A roach?" Gregory snapped. Oops. "Oh yeah.. sorry." You reply.
"I get where she's coming from though, we're just kids. An adult could easily overpower us." Gregory explained. That doesn't make me feel any better.
"Try be stealthy, sneak your way past the lady and get the children to follow you through this vent."
Sun explained, motioning his hands over to the direction of the vent. Sun skipped over to the vent and tore the cover off with ease. He's really strong.. glad he's on our side.
"The weird feeling is coming from somewhere up there, that means there has to be a way for me to get up there too." Sun explained, walking to the door. "Go on, I'll definitely find a way up there." You look over to the vent. You get down on all fours and climbed into the vent. There was spider webs in there, and you were terrified of spiders. "I'll hop in now." Gregory said, about to get in. "Wait! You go in first." You say, ducking your head and crawling out of the vent.
"Why?" Gregory asked, getting back up and scratching his head. "Umm.. I'm.. claustrophobic!" You spit out on time. You pushed past Gregory, and motioned him to get into the vent. "Uhh.. alright." You look behind you and notice Suns already gone.

I don't wanna leave him hanging.. I guess I should hurry up! "Quick, quick, quick!" You said, patting Gregory on the back. "Okay, okay!" Gregory said, getting down and hurrying into the vent.
You followed in behind him and gradually began to feel frightened. As you crawled along the spider web amounts got bigger and bigger, like whatever was making the webs was nearing. Suddenly something strange happened. "Hey Gregory, do you.. hear music?" You ask, hearing a strange music-box type melody getting closer and closer. "Actually I do.." He responded. For some reason I was really hoping he didn't.
"Maybe check behind you, just in case." Gregory instructed, continuing to climb. You followed behind Gregory but froze for a moment to check behind you. CLATTER CLATTER CLATTER. Something was picking up it's pace from behind you, just out of sight around the corner. "Gregory I don't know what it is but something's chasing us!!" You scream, waiting for Gregory to crawl faster.
"HURRY!" You shout, pushing Gregory on the back. Gregory began to practically sprint while crawling, it was honestly impressive, but now wasn't the time to be impressed. You hurried behind him and felt something tear at your leg. You stopped climbing for a moment and turned around. A spider! No? It's a robot spider?! You flailed your leg around trying to get it off of you, it's arms dug into your leg. You slammed your leg against the metal vent when suddenly you heard a satisfying noise.
SMASH. You had crushed the metallic spider against the vent, bolts, nails and metallic parts covered the vents floor. It had let go of your leg, and the moment it did you began to crawl as fast as you could. You noticed Gregory had waited for you to hurry behind him. He waited for me! Not going to lie that's pretty nice. He grabbed your hand and pulled you out of the vent, soon exiting after you.

In a panic you made the mistake of looking down.
"Ah!" You were standing on what looked like a tall metal bridge, it overlapped the top of the Fazer-blast arena. You could see everything in Fazer-blast from up there. It was built with a gate-like material, you weren't completely sure if it was steady but you were definitely sure of one thing. Someone's been up here. It was quite obvious due to trail of bloody bunny-foot prints. "Something was dragged here."
Gregory said, pointing to a smeared blood stain.
This is some pretty traumatic stuff. "You were a total bad-ass back there!" Gregory said, patting your back. "Huh?" What's he talking about? "Dude you destroyed that spider-robot-thing!" Gregory praised you. That may be true but now my leg totally stings!
You look down at your leg and notice it's quite scratched up. "Man.. I wonder if Sun can patch this up." You think out loud. Gregorys face was still scratched up but the scratch had slightly faded, leaving a somewhat pink line across his face.
The blood trail leaded to a wall.. no, a door? You look at Gregory then over to the door. There was a large window next to the door. You walked up to the door along with Gregory and peaked through the window. "She's right there!" Gregory whispered in a panicked voice. He took your hand and jolted you away from the window. You peaked the edge of your head over the window, so just your eyes were peering in. I have to stay out of sight!
In the room was an arcade machine called.. princess quest III? But that surprisingly wasn't the most important thing in there. The bunny lady stood eerily in front of a group of tied-up children. They were all frantically screaming, but you could hardly hear it through the glass. There they are! You wanted to shout but you could see that Gregory understood. She held a knife in her right hand and loomed over the children like they were her prey, despite her being dressed as a rabbit.
