A/N ONE OF MY FAVORITE SUN AND MOON FANFICS JUST ENDED DHMU 😔😔

Sundrop held onto your hand, looking down at the ground. "Why are you so nice to me" he blurted out, moon internally beat sundrops ass but he had to admit he was a bit curious too. You were so nice to them both even if sundrop was smothering and a bit childish at times and moon actually tried to murder you twice, you could see the good in them. You could see that sun was just scared to be alone as well as moon. Sun had somewhat of a childs mindset, if that child was traumatized, and moon was more of a mid life crisis version of sun who obviously is scared of being abandoned.

"Well.." you started to smile, "you're kind" you saw him perk up slightly. "Both of you are..sunny, you're sweet and gentle, even if you are energetic you still have the best intentions..the same goes for moon..he's a little intimidating but i feel like i know him well enough to say he's just a big softie!" You say as you boop sundrops nose. You could see him blush as he covered his face with his hands. "Ooh (y/n)!!" He giggled like a giddy teenager as he hugged you again. You smiled, leaning on his chest when a thought came to your mind. Sun and moon had both mentioned something about their last partner leaving. Was he worried you would do the same? And even then why did their old partner leave? Maybe they couldn't handle the two..

"Hey sunny?" You said softly, lifting your head from his chest for a moment. "Yes sunshine!" He said happily. "Can i ask you a..kinda serious question?" You mumbled, "of course sunshine! What is it?" You hesitated for a moment. "Why did your last partner leave?" Once you said this you could feel him freeze, thinking carefully before speaking. "I-I..uh..I don't know really..one day they were here the next they weren't..after that they just never came back..it was after they saw moon for the first time.. he thinks it's his fault.." he mumbled that last part, "can i..talk to moon for a bit..?" You ask softly. Sun hesitates before nodding, "mmm..okay..but promise you'll talk to me again soon!!" He huffed. you give him a warm smile, "of course sunny.." you say as you start to stand up, walking over to the light-switch and giving sun a small wave before turning the lights off.

You felt moon grab you almost immediately, pulling you into a hug. "Woah hey! Did ya miss me big guy?" You said with a smile as you patted his back. he said softly as he picked you up, cradling you as if you were a kid. you started to grin like a dumbass as you reached up, turning his face towards yours. "Awww is moony starting to worry!! I didn't know you were capable!"you teased as moon mumbled something under his breath. He said, changing the subject.

"Oh well i wanted to ask you something.." you say as he sits down, still holding you. He was holding onto like if he were to let go you would just evaporate into thin air. "no no it's about something else.." you put your hand over his "do you ever get tired of people being scared of you? It can see it happens a lot and i can tell it bothers you.." he looked away after you say this. You could hear the whirring noise yet again, He said as he refused to make eye contact with you.

You sighed, pulling his head down so he was face first in your shoulder. "That doesn't define you moony..you know if you opened up a bit people would understand! Ive seen the good side of you so i know exactly how kind you can be.. that other partner you had can go to hell." You could feel him freeze for a moment before he wrapped his arms around you, letting out a sort of robotic purr. You smiled, placing a small kiss on his head as you held him like you did for sun.

After a bit of cuddling the lights came back on, sundrop was suddenly back and he hugged you again. "Oh (y/n)!! I missed you so much sunshine!!" He shouted. Practically shaking with excitement from seeing you again. You smiled and patted him on the back. "Awee sunny i was only gone for like 20 minutes.." "i know but that's a long time!!" He huffed before suddenly stopping. "Hey wait.. (y/n)?" "Yes sundrop?"
