Previously-

"Watch your step" Bella said with a evil grin on her face right before she pushed me down the stairs.

I went tumbling down the stairs and the last thing I remember is hitting my head hard on the corner of the bottom step before it was all black.

Me and my family are at home because we wanted to give our mate some space. She hasn't showed any signs of getting annoyed with having us around all the time but we wanted to let her have her own time even though we already miss her alot. While I was sitting down reading a book Rosalie got a call from Carlisle.

(Italics= on the phone)

Rosalie- Hey Carlisle whats up.

Carlisle- Hey have any of you seen Beth she is a half an hour late for work.

Edward- We have been giving her some space because we wanted to make sure we wasn't overwhelming her so we went home today instead of her house.

Carlisle- Someone needs to go check on her and make sure she is okay

Jasper-Me and Edward can run over

Carlisle- Be quick im getting a weird feeling and something isn't right

Alice-Im feeling it to its like my chest is hurting

END CALL

"Hurry over and check on her we will drive the jeep to make it look normal" Rosalie said before flashing out the door to the jeep with Alice and Emmett right behing her.

Me and Jasper quickly ran through the woods as fast as we could to our mates house. The closer I got I could smell the sweet smell of my mates blood making me run even faster. I could tell Jasper noticed it to because there was so many thoughts running through his head it could have gave me a headache if that was possible. When our mates house came into view I noticed that her car was still in the driveway along with Isabellas truck.

While Edward and Jasper ran to our mates house I drove Emmetts jeep with Alice and Emmett sitting in the back to our mates house. I drove so fast I think I will get there a little after Edward and Jasper. When our mates house came into view I could see her car still there and I could smell her blood. I quickly pulled into the driveway and I hopped out and Edward and Jasper flashed to the side to make it look like they just got out to. We all walked towards the door quickly and before we could knock it flung open to reveal Isabella freaking Swan.

"Hey I didn't know you was coming over" Bella said nervously.

"Yeah Carlisle called and said Beth hasn't made it to work yet so we decided we was gonna come and make sure everything was okay" Alice said.

"Shes probably out hoeing aroung or something she left awhile ago" Bella said obviously lying because Beths car was in the driveway.

"Then why is her car in the driveway" Edward asked.

"Uh I-I someone mus-must have picked her up" Bella said stumbling over her words.

"Your lying where is she" I said with anger evident in my voice.

"I said I don't Know" Bella said bitterly right before we heard a painful groan from inside the house.

Me and my family quickly pushed pass Isabitch and walked around to see our little mate lying at the bottom of the stairs with a small pull of blood around her head.

I quickly rushed to her side to see what the damage was.

"Alice call a ambulence" I tell Alice quickly.

"Already on it" Alice says quickly pulling out her phone.

"What did you do to her" I yelled at Bella.

"I didn't do anything I didn't know she was laying there" Bella said sweating a lot.

"Oh yeah, you had to walk passed hear to get to the door to let us in" Emmett said with just as much anger in his voice.

Jasper and Edward was on the floor beside our mate trying to keep her eyes open and checking her over for injuries while Alice was on the phone getting a ambulence. We all stood and made sure Isabitch didn't run and we made sure our mate was staying awake. I could tell Jasper was trying his hardest to take her pain away but she was still in a lot of pain.

I heard the sirens of the ambulence coming down the road and It was making me mad becuase it wasn't going fast enough. When the ambulence finally got to Beths house we quickly rushed them in and they put her on a stretcher a put a brace on her neck. It hurt to see her like that but we had to let them take her.

"One person can ride in the ambulence with her" a paramedic girl said.

"I will go shes my sister" Bella said faking scared.

"The hell you are your the reason she is hurt, I think Alice should go" I say raising my voice a bit and I knew Alice is the calmest in this situation.

"She is my sister and I will ride with her" Bella says coming towards me trying to act tough.

"A-Alice" I heard my little mate mumble with her eyes barely open.

"Alice it is" the paramedic girl said and led Alice to the ambulence and let her in before shutting the doors.

"We have contacted chief Swan and he will meet us at the hospital" the paramedic said before getting into the ambulence and pulling out.

I was very happy when I got to go in the ambulence with my mate instead of her mean sister. I know if Beth didn't say my name the paramedics would have no choice but to let Bella ride with her since she is her sister. I sat in the ambulence and I held my mates hand as the other paramedic checked her over.

We finally made it to the hospital and they rushed her quickly inside. They was going to pass her off to some random doctor but I insisted that she had to be checked over by Carlisle who I saw come rushing down the hall.

I was going around the hospital doing my cases wondering why none of my kids have called and wondering why my little mate didn't come in and if she was okay. It has been awhile since I called and asked my kids to go check on our mate and none of them have called back to tell me what was going on. I was still wondering what was going on until I smelled my mates sweet blood inside the hospital. I quickly rushd down the halls to get to her and when she was in view I could see Alice standing off to the side worried and the rest of my kids coming through the door. I went over to my mate and had the nurses take her to a room so I could get her checked over. When I was sure the nurses had her I went over to my kids to see what happened.

"What happened" I asked them worriedly.

"We went over to check on her and when we got there Bella answered the door. She said she wasn't there but her car was in the driveway. Bella denied it some more until we heard a groan inside the house and we went inside to see Beth laying at the bottom of the steps with a small pool of blood around her head" Edward told me.

"WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER" I heard and I turned to see Chief Swan coming through the door.

The nurses quickly told him that she was being taken care of and he needed to wait to see what the damage was. I could see that my kids was all worried and I myself was worried so I quickly went to her room to take over her case myself.

I am sitting in the hospital with my family waiting for Carlisle to tell us what was wrong with our mate. All my siblings was scared and worried and it was making me even more scared and worried. I could see Beths dad a couple seats down from us freaking out a lot and her annoying sister was sitting with him pretending to be worried.

The major wanted to come out and rip Bella Swans head off but I managed to keep him down. I am now noticing how scary the Major can be.

My little mate was hurt and there was nothing I could do about it. I want to just hold her and take all of her pain away but I can't do that. I know if I could cry I definetly would be along with all my siblings and probably Carlisle to.

All I feel is this throbbing pain in my head and my side. I want to open my eyes but my head is pounding. Eventually I am able to pry my eyes open and they are met with a pair of beautiful topaz ones.

"Beth sweetie I need you to tell me if anything is hurting okay" Carlisle says to me with a calm voice.

"My head" I manage to say.

"It looks like you have a concusion and a few cracked ribs, im going to up your morphine to take a little bit of the pain away" Carlisle tells me soothingly.

Carlisle walks over to the stand thingy beside my bed and he does some things that is supposedly supposed to take the pain away.

"It will take a little while but you will start feeling better, would you like for me to get your father" Carlisle asks me quitely as to not make my head hurt more.

I manage to nod and Carlisle exits the room and quickly returns with my father and my sister.

"Oh my god sis I was so scared" Bella says very loudly right next to my head.

"Get out" I say to her clearly.

The morphine was starting to kick in and my head is hurting slightly less than it was.

"Why would you want me to leave sissy" Bella says faking sad and still talking loudly.

"You pushed me down the fucking stairs" I said loudly.

"Isabella is that true" my dad asked her with wide eyes.

"No I would do no such thing" Bella says faking innocent badly.

"Go out into the waiting room I need to talk with your sister" my dad says angrily.

Bella tries to argue but she is quickly cut off by my dad giving her a look and she left. By know Carlisle reluctantly left the room to give me and my dad privacy to talk even though I know he can hear us.

"Is it true Queen" my dad asks me quietly taking my hand in his.

"Yeah, I was walking down the stairs to get ready to leave for work when she shoved me down the stairs, the last thing I remember is the Cullens taking care of me and calling an ambulence" I tell him with my eyes closed.

"I will have to thank the Cullens they are all sitting in the waiting room worried about you, would you like for me to let them in" my dad asks me keeping his tone quiet but I can tell he is beyond angry.

"Yes please" I say and he smiles before standing up and kissing my forehead and exiting the room.

About a minute later all the Cullens came into my room including Carlisle. Alice and Rosalie quickly rushed to my sides and they both hugged me lightly making sure they didn't hurt my ribs.

"We was so scared, there was blood and you was laying there barely awake a-" Alice says but cuts herself off by burying her head in my neck.

"Sshh Alice im okay" I tell her rubbing her back soothingly.

"Where did my dad go" I ask them when I saw my dad didn't come back.

"Um hes out in the waiting room basically yelling at your sister" Edward tells me as he comes to hug me after Alice and Rosalie detach themselves from me.

When Edward is done hugging me Jasper comes and hugs me lightly.

"I am very sorry darling that this happened to you, we wanted to give you some space incase we was overwhelming you with us always being around so we went home instead of going to your house" Jasper said softly.

"I don't mind you always being around, I like the company, why would you think I wouldn't want you around" I say sad that they would think that.

"Noted" Emmett says with a adorable smile and very very gently hugs me. For being a giant he is very gentle.

Lastly Carlisle steps forward and gently sits down beside me on the bed and hugs me before he checks my head and ribs again.

"I was very worried when you didn't show up for work on time don't ever scare me like that again" Carlisle says while he feels around my head to make sure everything is still okay.

"Im sorry Carlisle that I failed you on my second day" I told him sad that I let him down.

"Sweetheart there is nothing to be sorry for, all that matters is that you are okay" Carlisle says also getting upset.

"Im just gonna let you know that Isabitch might die soon" Rosalie says casually.

"Rosie you can't kill my sister" I tell her knowing exactly what is going through her head.

"But shes so annoying and she could have killed you" Rosalie says angrily.

I didn't say anything after that because I was slowly dozing off. Jasper sat on one side of me and Emmett sat on the other and they held my hands as I fell asleep. I felt Carlisle kiss my forhead and he left the room probably going back to his shift.

~Time Skip~

I was kept in the hospital for 3 days and I was discharged on Saturday. The Cullens all came and visited me every day after school and was by my side except for Thursday because it was sunny out and Carlisle took them "hiking". That day was pretty boring because Carlisle wasn't there to visit me during his breaks and the Cullen kids couldn't visit me because it was sunny. My dad stayed with me whenever he was off of work and was suprised to see all the Cullens visiting me frequently and was a little iffy around the boys but he slowly warmed up to them and even let them call him Charlie. Bella hasn't came by the hospital and dad grounded her until he said she could be ungrounded.

I was very happy when my dad and Carlisle led me out of the hospital on Saturday and what made it even better was when my dad said I could spend the night at the Cullens house because I was having a sleepover with Alice and Rosalie and he agreed to it since there would be a doctor there. I was excited when I was at home and packing my bag and Alice and Rosalie quickly flashed to my room and packed my bag for me saying they knew what I would need. Know im on my way to the Cullen house as Rosalie, Alice and Edward drive me there.
