Harry, Ron and Hermione met you during their fifth year when they were at Grimmauld Place after the whole dementor attack and the letter from the Ministry of Magic fiasco happened. You were one of the members of the Order of the Phoenix and one might say that you were also the youngest member, which naturally made everyone there really protective of you

You treated Harry, Ron and Hermione with such kindness they instantly grew attached to you. Molly saw you as one of her own and she really liked chatting with you while you helped her cook. You sympathized with Harry when he was angry at his friends and Dumbledore for not keeping him updated about what was going on at the wizarding world all summer. You managed to calm him down and you hugged him. For the first time, in months, Harry felt safe and happy. He forgot his miserable days back at the Dursleys when he was wrapped in your warm and comforting embrace

But what the trio didn't understand was why Sirius and Lupin seemed so close and attached to you. It was like wherever you went, one of them always seemed to be hovering around you. Harry wanted to ask Sirius why he seemed so protective of you but he didn't get the chance as they all had to go back to Hogwarts soon. And for the first time in his life, Harry couldn't believe what he was thinking but he actually didn't WANT to go back to Hogwarts. There would be that pink toad Umbridge teaching classes there, he wasn't selected as a prefect, and he had no idea what the rest of the school would say about what happened to him during his hearing

Before Harry was about to get on the Hogwarts Express, you hugged him one last time and told him not to worry and how things will be just fine. He never wanted to leave your warm motherly embrace but the train was moving and he had no choice but to bade farewell to you

*Fast forward to them finding out about the Room of Requirement after forming the DA since I'm lazy TvT*

Practice was done and all the members of the DA were filing out of the Room of Requirement after that day's training. They all told Harry how that day's session was really cool and then they left. The only ones there were Harry, Ron and Hermione who were cleaning up and making sure nothing was left behind there else they could get into serious trouble by Filch and his cranky cat/ partner in crime Miss Norris. "Oh look, a Time Turner. Hermione did McGonagall chuck in here or something after you gave it back to her in the end of the 3rd year?" asked Ron and held it up. It looked a bit dusty after Ron pulled it out from underneath a rug. Hermione shook her head. "Ronald, Professor McGonagall isn't going to be irresponsible with something like that. I mean, it's a Time Turner for goodness's sake! And besides, she would've handed it back to the Ministry I think''. "Yeah, after all, the Ministry has to know every single thing we do lately'' Harry said bitterly. Hermione gave him a sympathetic look and glared at Ron who was messing about with it and sternly said "Ron, stop messing around with that, there could be severe consequences''. "Whatever'' Ron rolled his eyes and stuck his tongue out at her

Harry didn't bother trying to play peacemaker, he was used to their bickering and fighting to bother. Ron was still messing around with it and he started spinning it around. "Ron, I don't think you should do that'' Harry started off slowly looking anxious for what was about to follow. "Relax mate'' he replied and continued to do so. Harry traded a nervous glance at Hermione as she tried to stop him. Finally Ron was about to hand the Time Turner to Hermione but he tripped on the rug and landed on the floor, pieces scattered everywhere

"Look what you did!" Hermione scolded him as Harry replied "Guys, I think we have something bigger to worry about''. The trio looked at the broken shards of the Time Turner as it suddenly started glowing a light blue. They felt themselves moving and when the sensation finally stopped, they looked around their surroundings. "Where are we? No, what TIME are we in?" asked Ron looking confused. "It appears we're still at Hogwarts, maybe in the past or something. Be careful, we shouldn't be seen!" said Hermione as they all made an effort to stay hidden with Harry's invisibility cloak that they somehow managed to get their hands on before they got transported back into the past

"Hey, that's my dad'' Harry said all of a sudden and continued "And there's Sirius, Lupin and... wait... is that Regulus? I thought Peter was supposed to hang out with them''. "Wait... is that.... Y/N!?" Hermione gasped in surprise. The trio couldn't believe what they were seeing, the 4 Marauders were actually STALKING you! Lupin was looking kind of uncomfortable. He didn't really like the whole, sneaking around behind your back thing and keeping an eye on you. But James and Sirius said otherwise. They wanted to keep you safe and away from harm, and as your seniors, they had to make sure you weren't in danger! What sort of role models would they be for you? "If someone catches me I'll be in trouble'' said Lupin/ Moony looking highly uncomfortable and fidgeted around nervously. "No one's going to catch us, we're just making sure that Y/N will be safe, now hush!" said James annoyedly. Regulus sighed deeply and spoke "She looks really beautiful, I can't wait to make her mine''. Sirius gave him such a poisonous look that he shivered on the spot. "Say that again once more, I'll break your damn teeth. And be glad we told you about her and let you tag along with us instead of Peter' he gritted his teeth

They saw Severus Snape come towards you and their expressions instantly changed from obsessed and lovesick ones to cold and pure rage. Well, actually just James, Sirius and Regulus. Lupin mainly looked surprised to see him there. That's when Sirius remembered something: "Hey, didn't Snivellus mention something about asking Y/N out today to his little death eater pals?" asked Sirius. "Like HELL he's going to ask her out. I say we teach him a lesson, what do you say boys?" grinned James. Lupin was rather hesitant. "Don't you guys think it's wrong?" "What's wrong is that Snivellus there will soon be taking advantage of our sweet little Y/N and toss her aside after he's done using her!''

Lupin wouldn't take part in whatever they were about to do now to him but at the same time, he didn't want to leave you alone with him. So, they made a plan: Regulus, Siruis and James would lead him away from you and prevent the slimeball from asking you out whereas Remus would talk with you and try distracting you from whatever they were about to do. Harry, Ron and Hermione watched in surprise, they were indeed obsessed with you. That was why Sirius and Lupin were so protective of you back at Grimmauld Place

Well, James, Sirius and Regulus were done making fun of Snape and came back to you laughing at something what Remus had said. "Wow, I can't believe it... '' said Harry shaking his head. "Bloody hell, this was unexpected'' agreed Ron. "Wait... how are we going to get back?" asked Harry. Hermione sighed and replied "I knew something like this would eventually come up so I came prepared. All we have to do is head to McGonagall's office upstairs, it's where she keeps a few Time Turners. We can use it to get back to our era''

The trio found a Time Turner to use and eventually returned back. "I can't believe they were stalking her'' said Hermione after they got back to the Room of Requirement. Harry was at quite a loss on what to say, but in a way he was actually kind of glad that they were so protective of you since if they weren't, he never would have met you and basked in your warm and motherly presence. Usually Harry didn't like spending time outside Hogwarts but with Umbridge and the Daily Prophet getting on his nerves, he was actually looking forward to spending the Christmas there back at Grimmauld Place with you, his friends and Sirius and Lupin
