《All For You》On the Kitchen Floor

Abby's POV
I took Stu's hand as he led me around to the side of his house. We ducked behind some greenery as Stu quickly removed the ghost face costume.
We were only crouched there for about five seconds before he took my hand in his and dragged me out of the bushes. We ran up to the front of Stu's house to see Sidney running towards the front door.
"Sidney!!" I heard Randy's familiar voice yell. He was running towards Sidney with a limp. Stu was still pulling me towards the front door, we were trailing right behind Randy.
"Sidney, Jesus we gotta get the fuck outta here!" Randy yelled.
We were all culminating at the front of Stu's house. Lying right by the front door was Dewey's body. Sidney quickly took the gun out of Dewey's holster, pointing it at the three of us. Her face and hands were covered in blood.
"Stop right there." Sidney said.
"Don't shoot it's me! I found Tatum, she's dead. I think Stu did it." Randy continued, trying to gain the trust of Sidney.
Still holding my hand, Stu tried to reason with Sidney, "Don't listen to him Sidney!"
"Stay back!" Sidney warned. She was standing on the front porch, switching the gun's aim between the three of us.
"He killed Billy, he killed Tatum," Stu was accusing Randy of the killings, pointing his finger at him.
Randy, Stu, and I were going up the stairs, backing Sidney up into the house. Suddenly, Stu let go of my hand and pushed Randy off of the steps.
Putting both of his hands in front of him, Stu said, "Sidney, please give me that gun. Give me the gun."
Randy came running back up the stairs, "He did it Sidney, I didn't do it. Please."
The two boys kept pointing at each other, accusing the other of the awful crimes committed.
"Fuck you both." Sidney said, suddenly closing the wooden door on the three of us.
I stood back by Stu and he grabbed my hand again, taking off. Randy still stood by the front door, banging on it repeatedly, desperately hoping to get inside.
Stu rushed me to the back of his house. We quickly entered through the back door. As soon as we reached the kitchen I heard a gunshot.
Stu turned the corner looking into the front hallway, when Sidney bumped into him. "Stu, Abby, help me please." Sidney gasped in relief when she saw the two of us.
I was standing right behind Stu and I glanced over his shoulder to see Randy on the ground, the table smashed, and Billy drenched in blood.
Stu pulled something out of his pocket. The voice changer.
"Surprise, Sidney." He said through the voice changer. Sidney's face instantly changed from one of hope to one of fear.
Sidney quickly ran into the kitchen, hoping to find a way out. But she was cornered by Stu and Billy.
Stu tossed the voice changer to Billy, who held the gun at Sidney. "What's the matter Sidney? You look like you've seen a ghost." Billy said through the voice changer.
"Why are you doing this?" Sidney asked as she backed herself into a corner. Stu and Billy quickly closing in on her, like predators about to devour their prey.
"It's all part of the game Sidney." Stu said.
"It's called Guess How I'm Gonna Die!" Billy said through the voice changer.
"Fuck you!" Sidney exclaimed, getting tired of being tormented.

"No, no, no, no, no. We already played that game, remember?" Billy said to Sidney while trading the gun for the knife with Stu. "You lost." Billy continued.
"It's a fun game Sidney. See we ask you a question and if you get it wrong, BOOGAH you die!" Stu said while playing with the gun, acting like he was shooting it.
I did not know my place in this whole ordeal, so I tried to stay back. I didn't want to mess anything up and have something happen to Sidney or to Stu.
"If you get it right," Billy shrugged, "you die."
"You're crazy both of you." Sidney said in disbelief.
"Actually we prefer the term psychotic." Stu said, coming up right behind Billy. They were both super threatening as I saw them tower over Sidney.
"You'll never get away with this." Sidney quickly said.
"Oh no? Tell that to Cotton Weary. You wouldn't believe how easy he was to frame." Billy said.
"Watch a few movies, take a few notes. It was fun." Stu chuckled.
Sidney saw me standing in the shadows and tried to break away from the two boys, but they easily cut her off.
"Why? Why did you kill my mother?" Sidney asked.
"Why? WHY?" Billy suddenly yelled, making both Sidney and I jump. "You hear that, Stu, I think she wants a motive. I don't really believe in motives, Sid. I mean did Norman Bates have a motive? Did they ever really decide why Hannibal Lecter liked to eat people? Don't think so. See it's a lot scarier when there's no motive Sid."
Sidney stood there in silence, in utter disbelief.
Billy went on, "We did your mom a favor Sid. That woman was a slutbag whore who flashed her shit all over town like she was Sharon Stone or something."
"Yeah but we put her out of her misery, 'cause let's face it Sidney your mother was no Sharon Stone." Stu said, still holding the gun, raising his eyebrows.
Billy put the knife he was holding up to his mouth, "Is that motive enough for you? Well how about this: Your slut mother was fucking my father, and she's the reason my mom moved out and abandoned me."
Everything went silent.
"How's that for a motive?" Billy said, looking at Sidney. He turned to look at Stu, but noticed me standing there. He looked at me for too long, smirking to himself.
Billy turned back around to Sidney, now disregarding my presence, "Maternal abandonment causes serious deviant behavior. Certainly fucked you up, it made you have sex with a psychopath."
"That's right. You gave it up, now you're no longer a virgin." Stu said, giggling, mocking Sidney.
Billy moved Sidney so that she was in front of his chest. He put the knife in front of her neck and was playing with the blood-soaked strands of her hair.
"Now you gotta die. Those are the rules." Stu said, pointing the gun straight at Sidney.
"Just pretend it's all a scary movie, Sid." Billy said into Sidney's ear. "How do you think it's gonna end?" He turned to look at me, smirking again.
Billy turned back to look at Stu. Billy pointed the knife he held towards the small closet near the end of the kitchen. Stu suddenly exclaimed, "Oh! Oh! This is the greatest part. You're gonna love this, we gotta surprise for you Sidney."
Stu quickly put the gun on the small desk I was standing by near the doorway to the kitchen. He took my hand in his and gave my hand a brief kiss, before turning back around to head towards the closet. "Yeah, you're gonna love this one. It's a scream, baby! Hold on a sec, I'll be right back!" Stu said, backing into the small closet.

"You know what that means, Sid. It's after midnight. It's your mom's anniversary. Congratulations, we killed her exactly one year ago today." Billy was muttering into Sidney's ear. I needed to get her away from Billy. I know that Stu won't hurt her, but Billy sure will.
Stu came back into the kitchen, dragging a taped up body along with him. I quickly realized this body to be Sidney's father.
"Oh, what do we have behind door number three Sidney?" Stu joked, but nobody laughed.
"Daddy!" Sidney tried to get out of Billy's grip, but was unsuccessful.
Stu picked the voice changer up from the counter it was laying on, "Guess we won't be needing this anymore." He said into it. He then placed it into the front pocket of Mr. Prescott's jean jacket. "And, oh, look at this. Ring-ring. Won't need this either." Stu took the phone that the two must have used to make their cryptic phone calls and placed it in Mr. Prescott's jacket pocket.
"Got the ending figured out yet, Sid?" Billy said.
"Come on Sidney. You think about it, now. Your daddy's the chief suspect, we cloned his cellular," Stu said pointing to Mr. Prescott's pocket, "the evidence is all right there."
Stu walked over to me and hugged me tight. I immediately hugged him back. He whispered in my ear, "I know this is hard for you, baby, but I promise you'll be safe."
"I'm not worried about myself, Stu, I'm worried about you." I whispered back.
"I'll be safe too. We'll get out of this mess, I promise you." He whispered back, making his way back over to where Sidney and Billy were.
"What if your father snapped, your mother's anniversary set him off, and he went on a murder spree killing everyone." Billy said.
"Except for Billy and me. We were left for dead." Stu said.
"Then he kills you," Billy said, moving his knife around, hovering it over Sidney's chest, "and shoots himself in the head. Perfect ending."
"I thought of that." Stu added.
"Watch this." Billy said, pushing Sidney off of himself. He looked directly into my eyes as he turned the knife towards Stu. My eyes widened in shock when I realized what he was about to do.
"You ready?" Billy asked Stu.
I was frozen in place. I couldn't move.
"Yeah. YEAH. I'M READY BABY! HIT IT! GET IT UP! GET IT!" Stu yelled, raising his arms and resting them on the back of his head.
Billy suddenly stabbed Stu in the abdomen, and Stu doubled over in pain. I gasped and sprinted over to Stu. I rubbed his back soothingly, and shot daggers at Billy with my eyes; he simply smirked.
"Stu, are you okay?" I asked him.
Stu stumbled backwards a little bit, "Jesus, man. Oh, shit." Stu moaned in pain, "My turn."
Billy handed Stu the knife, "Don't forget, stay to the side and don't go too deep." Billy reminded Stu.
Billy took a strong hold of Sidney's shoulder, as he prepared for Stu to stab him.
Stu went too deep.
"AHHH, FUCK! GODDAMNIT STU!" Billy yelled, grasping his side.
"Sorry, Billy, I guess I got a little too jealous." Stu said.
"Give me the knife." Billy said to Stu.
"No." Stu replied.
"Give me the knife." Billy demanded, "NOW."
Stu reluctantly gave the knife to Billy, "You see Sid, everybody dies but us. Everybody dies but us, and we get to carry on and plan the sequel. 'Cause let's face it, baby, these days you gotta have a sequel." Stu said excitedly. Billy stabbed him two more times.
"You sick fucks, you've seen one too many movies." Sidney said. Her eyes were teary and she was shaking.
"No, Sid! Don't you blame the movies. Movies don't create psychos, movies make psychos more creative." Billy said before he stabbed Stu another time.
I was crying now. I hated to see Stu in this much pain.
"STOP IT BILLY!" I spoke for Stu.
"Billy, please stop. I can't take any more. I'm feeling a little woozy here!" Stu continued.
Billy stuck the knife right in Stu's face, "You get the knife, and I'll untie pops." Billy said.
The only noise in that moment was the sound of Stu's blood dripping onto the kitchen floor. "NOW!" Billy yelled when Stu wasn't moving.
As soon as Stu moved away from me to get the gun, Billy grabbed my wrist. He pulled me to his chest and wrapped his arms all around me. His knife was tracing my face, my nose, my cheeks, around my ears.
"Um, uh, Houston we have a problem here." Stu said, knocking on the small desk where he had previously placed the gun.
"What?" Billy said. He paused from tracing my face with the knife.
"The gun man! The gun. I put it right there and it's not there." Stu said as he pointed to the spot where he had put the gun.
Billy angrily slashed my cheek with the knife, producing a small gash. I immediately placed my hand over the wound in pain.
Billy moved away from me, moving to where Stu was, "Where the fuck is it?" Billy asked, angrily.
"Right here asshole." A new voice said. I turned to look at who said it. Gale Weathers.
I looked at Sidney in surprise and quickly moved to stand by her side.
"I thought she was dead." Billy said to Stu.
"She looked dead, man, still does." Stu responded.
"I've got an ending for you. The reporter left for dead in the news van comes too." Gale continued, "Stumbles on you two dipshits, finds the gun, foils your plan, and saves the day."
"I like that ending." Sidney said from beside me.
"I know something you don't." Billy said quietly to Gale. He began walking towards her as she struggled with shooting the gun.
Billy suddenly kicked Gale out of the front door. Both Billy and Stu went towards the front door and I saw an opportunity for Sidney to go.
"Sidney," I whispered, "Go, get out of here. Find a place to hide. Please. I don't want you getting hurt."
She turned to me, "But what about you?"
"I've got to make sure Billy doesn't hurt Stu anymore. Stu will die if Billy does anything else to him. Please, go. I'll be fine."
With that, she ran out of the kitchen.
Stu turned to look at me, and realized that Sidney was no longer with me, "Shit." He said.
Billy turned to him, "What?"
The two of them walked back into the kitchen. Stu walked up to me, cupping the cheek that Billy had cut. I leaned into his touch.
"Where is she?" Billy pushed Stu away from me, putting the gun right against my forehead.
"I'm not telling you shit." I told him.
He was about to pull the trigger and end my life when the phone rang.
Billy rushed over to answer the phone. He listened to what the caller had to say before replying, "Bitch! You bitch! Where the fuck are you?"
"FIND HER YOU DIPSHIT GET UP!" Billy yelled at Stu, holding the gun against his head.
"I can't Billy, you cut me too deep. I think I'm dying here man." Stu said. Billy placed the phone over Stu's shoulder, walking out of the kitchen.
As soon as Billy was out of sight I rushed over to Stu. He picked up the phone and readjusted it to listen to the caller, who I had assumed was Sidney. "Hello?" Stu asked. "Peer pressure, I'm far too sensitive."
Billy came storming back into the kitchen, ripping the phone out of Stu's hands, "I'm gonna rip you up you bitch! Just like your fucking mother!" Billy said.
"Fuck!" Billy exclaimed, throwing the phone at Stu. The phone hit Stu on the back of his neck.
"Ow, you fucking hit me with the phone dick!" Stu yelled at Billy.
Billy stormed out of the kitchen, smashing plates and ripping up the couch.
Stu picked up the phone once again, "Did you really call the police?" "My mom and dad are gonna be so mad at me." Stu whined.
Billy turned the corner and I saw our time to run.
"Stu, we gotta get out of here. Now. I know you're hurt, but we have to go. Can you walk?" I asked Stu.
"Yeah, baby. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. We have to go."
He stood up and I put his arm around my shoulder, helping him to stand upright and walk properly. We went out of the back door and left Stu's house behind.
The sun was rising as we made our way out of our hometown, never to come back again. We left everything there on the kitchen floor.

Disclaimers: Chapter Frequency: I aim for one chapter a week. Chapter Length: I try to keep chapters between 3000 and 6000 words. Binge Preference: I plan for 30 chapters per arc. If you want to binge a complete arc, then that is the number to wait for. I will also add a line to chapters indicating the beginning and end of an arc. Advanced Access: I have created a patreon page with early access to four chapters for patrons. What to Expect: Progression fantasy with a western fantasy setting and with eastern fantasy elements. A main character that is forced to explore a very narrow path of magic due to a permanent condition. A main character that is a part of a larger cast. A main character that is growing but won't become the strongest around anytime soon. A story following a single main character but with introduction or theme setting scenes without the main character. What Not to Expect: Edgy grimdark characters – I will never write a sexual violence scene or gory descriptions of torture. I hate reading it and I would hate writing it even more. Romance – romantic relationships will never be the focus of the story and only appear in the background. The main character is preoccupied with other stuff. Other forms of relationships (family, friends, companions) play a bigger role. Cover: The cover art was commisioned from redditor Linh-Nguyen87. The font is alita brush by Inovatype Typefoundry. 8 117Giantslayer
Synopsis: Alain is a fledgling Giantslayer, enhanced individuals capable of killing deadly giants. But these giants are not big, they are what ancient humans would refer to as mundane animals or beasts. 'The Final Curse' as many humans call it, was a curse that shrunk down the entire human population to the size of small rodents. When the curse first occurred, the majority of the human population was eaten by beasts who are now of towering heights and sizes. But their abandoned gargantuan structures were not built for naught, the remaining humans retreated back into their now giant buildings and rebuild societies and nations inside of them. Follow Alain in his quest to right the wrongs done to his past and hunt down the elusive and mythical Elder Giants, giants capable of intellects and speech. Are they real? Alain certainly insists so despite no one believing him. But perhaps it did not matter, they were real enough to him for what they did to his family. A/N: I'm pretty new to writing creatively so I hope to improve as we move along the story. The prose I use is still fairly simple and 'plain', but I am also new to literature in general so I am hoping to improve my vocabulary as well. It should also come under no surprise that I am a non-native English speaker and writer as well. With that said, I do appreciate constructive feedback. Please don't be overly mean at least. All the chapters are rough drafts that will be edited in the future. The cover is by this user from pixiv: https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/4545042
