and the two girls waited at the park entrance for the boys, awkwardly looking around at near by passerby's to see if anyone familiar were to appear at the same event as them.
"[Name], Yachi!" Familiar voices call out, and the girls turn to an enthusiastic green haired boy and a bored blonde walking their direction.
"Yamaguchi, Tsukishima! Hi!" Yachi's smile widens as she stands up and makes her way to meet their friends in the middle, but [Name] stays back awkwardly— deciding that maybe it would be best for her bestfriend to take the lead with greetings instead.
She watches from afar as they conversate, unable to hear much other than determining based off of the hand motions the trio made. [Name] fumbled with the material of her outfit awkwardly, making an attempt to be as normal as possible in hopes of contributing to the normal teenage, highschool life.
"[Name], come over!" Yachi called out, waving enthusiastically with a grin on her face.
Yamaguchi and Tsukishima peaked over her shoulder, watching the [hair color] haired teen slowly walk over. Her chest heaved, attempting to come up with a greeting and trying not to focus on how she walked and how they could probably tell she wasn't used to social outings like these.
But Yachi's smile calmed her, her waving and her beckoning motions made her heart and chest feel lighter. Yachi made her feel like she was walking on air and [Name] needed that more than anything.
"Hello," [Name] spoke, a smile being forced upon her lips as a polite gesture. Her nimble fingers fumbled with her dress, trying to think of possible responses to whatever they might throw at her.
'How are you?'
'I'm good, and you?'
'You look nice today!'

'Thank you very much, as do you.'
"Wow [Name], I think this is the first time I've seen you so casual!" Yamaguchi joked, laughly lightly. Yachi had joined in, giggling softly with her hand covering her lips and her eyes screwing shut happily.
[Name] forced out a chuckle, growing confused on what she would resoond with. 'Thank you?' What could possibly be the appropriate response for such a comment!
"Well, are we going?" Tsukishima asked impatiently and nonchalant. His hands were placed in his pockets, staring directly at [Name] as if he was asking her specifically if they were to go into the festival— and that made her stomach hurt slightly. His eyes pulled from her own, circling around the group awaiting the response that he soon received from an enthusiastic Yachi moving towards the entrance.
The four walked in, immediately surrounded by the beautiful spring atmosphere and bright colored decorations. Yachi gasped in joy, pointing happily at her favorite booths and scenic spots. Yamaguchi had a similar response, tugging on Tsukishima and waving his hand at his own seperate favorite places before quickly noticing his discomfort and running to Yachi instead.
The blonde male turns to the [hair color] haired friend, watching as she curiously looks around nervously. He scoots over slightly, "This isn't your scene either, huh?"
[Name] turns, registering what he said to her before shaking her head quickly. "I'm not exactly used to festivals, I'm only here since Yachi invited me," she informed awkwardly, hoping he wouldn't take it the wrong way as if she didn't want to be apart of the group.
"Yeah, I get it. Yamaguchi practically begged me to come, so I suppose you and I are quite similar."
[Name] nodded firmly, however, it wasn't as if she was listening entirely. Her eyes had trailed to Yachi who was standing at a booth with a grin on her face, making gestures to the green haired boy happily. She watched, smiling to herself at the joy of her bestfriend and glad she had attended to witness it.
