This is just great. It's been weeks and weeks of events layered on top of each other. The female Titan had showed out of nowhere, which we now know who it really is thanks to Armin. He really was clever. She's gotten herself protected in some form of crystal that isn't normal and is now locked up. Levi and I had visited her a couple of times. In slight hopes she'd break free one day. It wasn't like we were going to kill her anything. Never crossed my mind!

Probably.

I had spent weeks trying to find where it's from and what sort of substance it was made from. But I hadn't had any success. Our only form of response was Annie. Or any other Titan like her. Like Eren. And as if that wasn't enough, a titan's face was shown from inside the walls. We managed to force words out of Pastor Nick before he was killed and I swore to take revenge on whoever it was that murdered him.

"Although he was foolish", Levi had told me "He clung unto his faith to the very end. And that I respect". He was trying to be comforting. And it so helped me to make the decision similar to Erwin's, he also said.

Further more into events, we found out Ymir too happened to be a Titan but she used that form to help the rest of her comrades even if it meant her life was endangered. Then Reiner and Bertholdt too were Titans. No one agreed to believe it. But they did reveal their true colours eventually. Eren unlocked some power that allows titans to do things according to his will. But he still didn't know how he did it or how to do it on his own. Erwin got his hand bitten off. Poor guy. And for now all we know is that Titans really are people. This is the present time. I noticed how it hurt Levi a bit so I convinced him that we weren't sure. We're now experimenting on Eren. And when I say "we", I mean "I".

It did help. We checked how many times he could transform and see if he could harden his body in that state as well. I am a bit ashamed to say I got easily carried away most of the time and begging Moblit to sketch his face. We couldn't break his crystal either. So we assumed it was some sort of hardening to protect them. Which we also experienced when Eren and Reiner had their little (more like huge) fight.

Eren was starting to get exhausted from al the experiments, I can say that much. And we had to put the plan of plugging up the walls with his Titan powers on hold.

"Why won't these sons of bitches just leave us alone?", Levi grumbled as Hange sent everyone in her office out. She shrugged at his question.

"And why won't the dork understand that he hasn't got any chance with you?"

"Moblit? Ha you say that like you have one", Hange replied with a smug grin.

"I didn't mean it that way four eyes"

"You need to sort out your anger", Hange shrugged surprisingly putting the papers on her desk in a neat pile. It was never neat.

"Like yours is sorted out. You're worse than me when you're angry you know"

"But it's rare"

He muttered under his breath which Hange understood was "you're exhausting". She swung out of her chair and skipped to a near book shelf humming.

"To what do I owe your visit, dear Short-ass?", she got one of her research books and headed to a drawer rummaging through piles and piles of paper.

"First of all, don't call me that. Second, what the heck is with that mess of yours? Throw some of those papers out. Third, I've got no clue where we're going from here"

She glared at him when he mentioned throwing the papers out but went straight to thinking mode towards his next statement that was meant to be a question. The only thing left now was to retake wall Maria. Everything else had been done and dusted. And that was her reply. She held in her hands a bunch of books and papers making her way back to her desk when she tripped.

"You have issues", Levi smirked in annoyance walking towards her and bending down "I mean seriously who trips on their own foot?"

He picked some papers up until his hands found it's way to hers. Hange flushed pink for a couple of seconds but went back to normal. She tried to pull her hand away gently but had no success.

"Levi?"

He still didn't let go. Hange could feel her heart racing. He was doing it again. That thing he always did that makes her heart flutter for a couple of minutes. Some cheeky bastard he was.

"My hand isn't that fascinating, Levi. I'm pretty sure you'd rather scrub mould gf every corners of this place than do this"

Ignoring her, he set the paper down in a neat pile to avoid making a mess and pulled her in. Soon after he was giving her one of the shortest kiss. But it felt too slow for Hange because she could only stare wide-eyed for too long. And she had no quick reaction. He finally let go standing up.

"I think I'll take my leave"

"Mhm" Hange nodded still in shock of what had happened. Her fingertips were running down her lips as she pondered. Levi just kissed her. What for? But some part of her wanted to grin like a maniac and even some part wanted more. But it wasn't like him to do that. This time, he had truly outdone himself.
