Christian And Viviana were finally going to find out the gender of their baby; Christian had been waiting for this day since he found out Viviana was pregnant. He wanted more than anything for Viviana to have a girl; To take care of two beautiful ladies, his queen and his princess. Sure, a boy would be amazing to have as well, could start raising him as a mini Christian, but, Christian wanted to have a girl first, to show her what true love really was so she could look for that when she got older.

"There's the perfect little baby." The tech said, the beautiful sound of the heartbeat filling the room.

Vivi couldn't help but smile, giving Christian's hand a slight squeeze, "That's our baby, and their heartbeat.." She dreamed of this day, something that she always wanted to do was be in the doctor's office with the love of her life, finding out the gender of their child.

"Wow.." Christian whispered, tears rolling down his cheeks, "Our baby.."

"Everything is looking amazing for the baby and momma. Right on track for growth and development, the right weight, heartrate is normal." The tech smiled at the couple, handing a photo of the ultrasound to Christian.

"Thank you so much..." He said, smiling over at Viviana and kissed her. "You are so beautiful," He whispered, kissing her several times just overwhelmed with emotions. He loved her beyond words, everything was coming full circle and he felt like himself again with Viviana.

"Thank you for being there for me.." Vivi whispered to Christian as she kissed his hand, "I don't know what I would do without you through this.."

"I am always going to be there for you.." Christian said, then looked over at the tech, "Are we able to find out the gender...?" He asked, looking at Vivi before he brought his attention to the tech again.

"Oh, of course! Didn't know if you two were wanting to do that yet. Typically couples like to wait, or they like to find it out, but have the gender given to them in an envelope so they could do some type of reveal." She said, laughing, "I think it's awesome you two waited so long, honestly. The last couple of expecting mothers wanted to know what they were having the moment they could get a blood test done."

She moved the probe back around on Viviana's stomach, looking to find the baby's gender. "Well, it looks like you two will be having a beautiful baby girl. Congratulations! Did you want that printed out for record keeping?"

Christian's eyes welled up with tears again, looking at the screen as the tech revealed the gender, "A girl...?" He looked at Vivi who was crying and kissed her. "A little princess.." He said, wiping under Vivi's eyes. "And yes, we would love that." He told the tech as she nodded, walking out to go get the paper.

"A baby girl, Christian..." Vivi said as she kissed him again. "Look at her, I bet she's going to have your cute smile." She giggled, looking at him.

"Nah, she's definitely going to be beautiful just like her momma." Christian said, running his fingers through her hair and helped Viviana sit up. "I'm so happy with that news."

"She's going to be so spoiled.." She said with a laugh. Viviana couldn't wait to welcome their baby girl; That baby was going to be so loved by her and Christian. She couldn't wait to share with everyone the news, everyone was going to be thrilled.

"She definitely is going to be treated like the princess she is.."

Christian walked into the team locker room later that night, unable to wipe the smile off of his face. His beautiful girlfriend was expecting a baby girl, something he had hoped for. He couldn't wait to tell his teammates the news.

"Congratulations! A girl? That's awesome!" Travis patted Christian on the back. "Definitely going to be a very loved child."

Christian nodded, letting out a chuckle. "That's what I had hoped for, too. We're gonna announce it to our parents tonight, then I'm sure Vivi will want to post it on social media." He said, sitting down and grabbed his cleats, sliding them on and tied them. He still couldn't believe he was telling his teammates that he was going to be a father; Especially at a young age, in his opinion. But, it was with someone he truly loved.

"Is Vivi here tonight? We want to congratulate her too!" Ryan asked Christian who turned and faced him.

"She's coming later. She was with her sister doing some shopping and sister bonding." Christian chuckled, "She said I couldn't come, it was sister time, not sister and sister's boyfriend time."

"I still think it's crazy you're gonna be a dad. I mean, I thought it would of have happened earlier with you two, but, I think you two did the right thing by waiting." Ryan told him.

He continued to get flooded with congrats and well wishes from his teammates. He couldn't wait for Viviana to arrive so she could celebrate as well.

As Christian was getting ready to go out and play a preseason game, he received a text from Viviana, who he had been waiting for.

Christian sighed, reading the texts and locked his phone. That news bummed him out, he wanted Vivi to be there more than anything, but, he knew that she would feel sick very easy with the pregnancy, and he needed to understand that.

Once he arrived home, he walked in his apartment, locking the door behind him as he walked into the bedroom to see Vivi was laying in bed watching Netflix on the television. Vivi paused her show, looking over at Christian with a small smile on her lips. "Hi, baby.." She greeted him, Christian immediately leaned in and kissed her. "I'm sorry I couldn't make it...Our little girl decided that tonight would be a great night to make me feel pukey and shitty."

Christian smiled, sitting next to her, "Hey, don't worry. All the guys say congrats and they're happy for us." He said before softly kissing her lips.

"When did you wanna tell our parents..?" She asked him, taking his hand and kissed it gently.

"We could video chat my mom right now if you wanted to, babygirl." Christian suggested, Vivi nodded and grabbed her laptop. "She should still be awake, it's only 8PM by her."

Vivi called Alecia on FaceTime, getting an answer shortly after calling her. "Vivi! Your name popping up made me very happy. What are you up to?"

"Christian just got home from his preseason game, and we wanted to FaceTime you to tell you something!"

Alecia nodded, smiling, "This could be good or bad.." She said with a laugh.

Vivi smiled, reaching over Christian and grabbed the picture from the ultrasound and showed it towards the camera, "We're welcoming baby Yelich in a couple of months!" She said and Alecia gasped, putting her hands over her mouth.

"You two are serious, right?! No jokes!?" She exclaimed, Christian laughed and shook his head.

"We're one hundred percent serious, mom. We just found out we're having a baby girl today." He said and Alecia teared up, smiling so big at the two.

"How far along is she? And you're just telling me right now?" Alecia asked, laughing.

"About fifteen weeks." Viviana replied, "I didn't tell Christian until a couple weeks ago." She giggled, "But yes, we're having a beautiful healthy girl. We wanted to tell you, and then we were going to tell my mother and announce it online."

The couple talked with Alecia for a little while more before ending that call and decided to call Viviana's mother, despite it being late.

"Viviana, it's late, you doing okay?" Her mom answered, concern in her voice.

Vivi moved the laptop to Christian's lap before standing up and lifted up her shirt, exposing her bump and then had Christian turn the laptop towards her, "Me and the baby are doing absolutely okay..." She said, a smile creeping up on her lips.

"Viviana Grace! You're pregnant!? What the hell?" Her mother exclaimed, "Oh my goodness!! Vivi bug!" She teared up, Vivi smiled and sat back down.

"Don't cry, mom!!" Vivi told her, "But yeah, just found out today we're having a little girl..." Christian grabbed Vivi's hand, squeezing it gently. "I'm about fifteen weeks along, and I'm healthy, baby is healthy, everything is perfect."

"Oh, Vivi...I'm so happy! I can't believe you're pregnant, that's amazing. I can't wait to be a grandma!" Her mother said, unable to wipe that smile off of her face. "You happy with the news, Christian?"

"Of course! I wanted a girl, honestly. More reasons to spoil." He said, smiling at Vivi who kissed his cheek. "I only found out a couple weeks ago," Christian chuckled, "But, I'm very happy with the news and I'm excited to bring the baby into the world."

As the two talked to Vivi's mother for a little while more, everything started to hit the two of them. They were welcoming a baby girl in just a few short months, Christian was back playing baseball, about to prepare for spring training, life was perfect for the two of them.
