Marriage. Something that crossed Viviana's mind often. She knew that she wanted to get married to Christian, but she never knew how to properly ask him when they wanted to tie the knot. They both were so busy with their own careers, trying to plan a wedding and the parties just didn't seem possible at the time. But, she knew that she wanted to be married to him within the next year.

"So, are you like living with Christian now? You're never home.." Vivi's sister Gia asked her as she handed Viv a cup of coffee.

Vivi shrugged, looking at her sister, "I don't know. A lot of my stuff is there, but, I still consider this home too. I just don't know how to bring it up with him, I mean, I'm sure he wouldn't have a problem with me moving back into the apartment, but at the same time, I don't want to leave you.." She admitted, looking at her cup.

"Hey, don't worry about me. All I care about is that you're happy, and doing amazing with your life. You have your boy back, and that's all that matters, right?" Gia asked Viviana, Vivi nodded in response.

"You two are in love, and that's all I want for you. You wanted him back for so long and you finally have him back, I understand when you're not going to be home because you're with your boyfriend, Vi.."

Viviana sighed, looking back up at Gia, "Do you think he would get mad if I asked him about marriage...?" She asked Gia who nearly choked on her coffee.

"Marriage?" Her sister stammered out, "You want to tie the knot with him?" She asked her, Vivi just sat there frozen.

"I mean, yeah...It's something we talked about even before the break up.." Vivi told her, "He's my favorite person on this planet.." She admitted, "I don't want to lose him again, and before we broke up, we talked about us getting married close to his birthday, but like around the five year dating mark." She said, stirring her spoon in her coffee before taking a sip.

Gia shrugged, leaning against the counter. "I think you two could do marriage. I mean, maybe not right now because you two are so busy, but, you two will have to start thinking about settling down eventually..." She told her sister, "I mean, I don't know how your schedules work, especially his, but, I know you're busy with modeling and schooling, but I think you two could at least work out the engagement for a while, get your lives connected schedule wise, and then work your way towards planning a wedding.."

Viv nodded, going through thoughts in her head. She didn't really know how to react to news like that, she didn't really know how to ultimately approach Christian with the question.

"But hey, that's just my thinking. I'm honestly surprised he hasn't knocked you up yet.. I feel like you two are always touchy with one another." Gia said, and Vivi's breath got hitched in her throat.

Viviana shook her head, letting out a nervous chuckle. "Oh no, no. I make sure to get a Plan B. But, he told me the other night that he wants a kid.." She told her sister.

"He did?"

Viv nodded, taking a deep breath. "I shot him down quick, telling him that we need to be more stable and not as busy as we are before I even think about getting pregnant..." She looked at her sister, "I mean, I do want to have kids...Just, don't know if I would be a good momma.."

Gia rolled her eyes, shaking her head, "Vi, you are going to be an amazing parent when that time comes! You are naturally a caring person, and I'm sure having a kid would just make that explode by a thousand." She told her, hugging her sister. "You and Christian would be amazing parents, and would have amazing, beautiful children." She giggled, "I mean, look at you two! Honestly, a beautiful couple."

"I just get nervous thinking about it, y'know?" Viv asked, "I get those thoughts in my head on when that time comes and I'm a mom, what if my kid doesn't want anything to do with me? What if I can't care for them?"

"You stress over all this shit that you don't need to be stressing over right now, Viviana. When the time comes, things will come naturally. Remember how nervous our cousin Catie was? And now look at her, she's probably one of the greatest parents we know. She's an amazing momma, and expecting her second kid!" Viv nodded, knowing her sister was right. It was just a constant stressor on her, because she knew it would happen eventually, just when was the big question mark.

Vivi went back to Christian's place that night after he had returned from practice. She walked in the bedroom, looking over at him with a smile. Christian looked up from his phone and smiled at his beautiful girlfriend before getting up and embraced her in a hug. "Hi, beautiful lady.." He said quietly as he placed a kiss on the top of her head.

"Hi, I missed you.." She said as she looked up at him and moved her arms to wrap around his neck. "I hung out with my sister today.." Vivi told him as she moved her arms and walked with Christian to the bed, sitting down in front of him, cross-legged.

"Yeah? What did you two do?" Christian asked, wanting to know about his girlfriend's day.

Vivi shrugged, "Just hung out at home, talked, drank some coffee, watched television. Talked about life.." She told him, looking in his eyes as she ran her fingers through his curls.

"What did you talk about..?" He asked, genuinely wanting to know if anything about him was discussed.

"Nothing really important.." She shrugged, "I told her how the whole baby talk came up in the shower the other night...Then we talked about marriage..." She said the last part kind of quietly, not really knowing the reaction she would get out of him.

"Those are some of the two most important things you can discuss with anyone and you say they're not important." Christian said, letting out a chuckle, "When I mentioned the whole thing about having a kid the other night, it wasn't just a silly thought that came into my head.." He confessed, Vivi fell silent.

She didn't really know how to react; She knew he hadn't really brought it up prior to that conversation, as it wasn't really something they discussed previously. Viviana wanted more than anything to be a momma, but life was giving her a different answer at the moment.

"And I realize we're both super busy, I get that.." Christian started, "But, I do want be the one you have a child with. I want to raise a family with you, babygirl..." He told her, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

Viviana nodded, "I just get scared thinking about it.." She looked at him, "I don't want to get pregnant and then have you get mad and then leave me, or me get pregnant and just regret it.."

Christian put his finger over her lips, "Shut the hell up, Viv. I would never leave you, no matter what. I would help you raise that child, it's my child as well, right? Why would I leave?"

"I..I didn't mean to upset you..." She said quietly, looking down at her hands, folding them in her lap. "I just get nervous thinking about stuff like that. And marriage..." Vivi told him, refusing to make eye contact with him.

"What about marriage?" He asked her, tilting her chin up. "Do you want to get married to me?"

"Of course I do, Christian, you know that." She replied, looking at him with fear and nervousness in her eyes, "You're the only man I've ever wanted to marry. I just.." Vivi paused, taking a deep breath to calm herself down, "I don't know when we could. We're so busy, both together and individually. You're winding down on baseball, I'm getting modeling shit left and right..I just want it to happen where we're both not struggling to find a good spot to put a wedding date into our schedules and I-..." She was cut off by Christian pressing his lips against hers. Somehow, this calmed her down.

All her stress suddenly went away when she felt his soft lips against hers. Viviana pulled away from the kiss, looking at him. "Sorry..."

"Don't apologize," Christian said, "I totally understand what you're telling me. You're not alone on the nerves boat. I want things to be perfect for us, trust me. I do want to call you my wife one day, and I want to father your kids, and I know our schedules are chaotic, but there'll come that time where we have a moment to breathe and relax and plan everything out."

Vivi nodded slowly, "I just don't want things to happen like...now. Especially with you rounding out an amazing season, and I don't want you to have to worry about me and a baby when you're trying to put an end to the season. That's the last thing I want you to worry about."

"I mean, it would be kind of bad timing if you were to get pregnant now, but then in nine months, that would mean you would be having the baby right at the beginning of the new season, and the last thing I want to do is leave you to care for them by yourself if I'll be on the road a lot.." Christian told her, sighing as he realized what he had just explained.

No time was ever going to be right for a baby for those two; Christian was always busy with baseball, there wasn't ever a month where it was baseball free. Even when he wasn't playing games, he was practicing, training for the upcoming season, it never stopped. The last thing he wanted to do was get Viviana pregnant and leave her to take care of this baby while he was off doing things for his career. But he wanted more than anything to have a kid with his beautiful girlfriend.

"That's why I'm scared, Christian.." Viviana spoke up, "I don't want you getting mad because I could end up getting pregnant or something and then you feel like you have to stop everything for me. I don't want you to do that.." She told him, grabbing his hand. "I understand how important baseball is to you. I also have a modeling career and if I get pregnant? That career is over until I get skinny again.."

"I don't want you to worry about me, Chris, I want you to worry about you. You worry enough about me and the last thing you need is me getting pregnant. Which is why I tell you to be smart and use protection, or remind me to get a Plan B after we have unprotected sex, because I don't want you getting stressed over something like that when you have other things to worry about."

Christian looked at her confused, almost offended by how she thinks that she didn't matter to him. "Viviana, if anything? You come before that sport. I don't give a fuck about that if I have you. I want you happy before anything else. If it happens where you end up pregnant during the baseball season? Who cares? They're going to have to understand that family comes first; Always does. They do it for other players, and I don't give a fuck that I might be a popular name in sports, but, you will always come before that." He said, kissing her hand.

"Baby, seriously..." Viviana started, "If I end up pregnant one day and it's during the season? I don't want you to stress about it. Seriously.."

He looked at her and shook his head, "No matter what, you come before anything."
