"Talia, I told you to shove it up your ass," Keanu barks at Talia. Talia rolls her eyes at the comment.

Talia has brown skin and black hair. She has hazel eyes that make her seem very sweet but she definitely isn't.

"Your such a bitch some days, I don't understand how your boyfriend can stand you," she says as she starts walking down a different hall.

"At least I have one," Keanu makes sure she's loud enough for Talia to hear.

"God, what a brat."

"What did she do?"

"Everything. She copies everything I do," Keanu rants. "She's literally trying to be me and I've noticed the slut getting a little too chatty with you.."

I sigh not really caring.

"Mind if I drive home with you today? Talia drove me."

They'll be friends again by tomorrow. Calling each other 'besties' and all that stuff.

"Yeah."

"Great. Mind also picking up Leo?"

"What?"

"Dad suggested we all ought to hangout more."

"No, your father suggested I teach him to ride a horse. I already see him enough in a week, plus this new found friendship between our parents."

"This is all very good. The more he's around you, the less he's around his other friends. Like Stella."

"Who exactly is Stella?" I ask as we reach the exit doors.

"This girl he's been friends with since he started high school," Keanu starts. Keanu and Leo both went to private school when they were in grade school. Then in high school he went to a local high school. "They're probably dating, or fucking. God that's disgusting. I hate her."

I'm not too sure why Keanu absolutely hates Stella. She's brought it up many times and it's not just her strongly disliking Stella, it's hatred.

Part of me feels it's jealousy because Keanu and Leo used to be so close then Stella came along.

"He's got other friends too but I don't know their names. I've only met one of them and he's got bleach blond hair."

I unlock my car and we both get in.

"So anyway, I'm trying desperately for my brother to start hanging around us and maybe going to school here so please can we pick him up?"

"Keanu, we have less then a year left here? And he can't just switch to a school like this. We have completely different curriculums and our school is a lot harder."

"Okay yeah that's true but fine I just don't want him ending up dead because he OD'd on drugs."

"Fine. We'll pick him up," I say.

"Great," she smiles. "I'll call him."

I listen to her trying to convince her brother into coming with us as well as telling me directions.

"Oh c'mon. We can make a deal? I'll do something for you. Homework?"

"Fine. I can do that."

Then she hangs up.

"One more turn," she says pointing to the upcoming stop light.

When we arrive at his school he's standing with two girls and a boy with bleach blond hair.

"Orange bag and black hair, that's Stella," Keanu points. I see a couple heads turn at and looking at our car. I can imagine how awkward it'd be if I got out right now in my uniform. "There's the kid with the platinum hair and oh right, that blonde girl."

Leo notices the car and starts heading towards us waving goodbye to his friends.

"Jeez bring more attention," he mutters getting in.

"Oh I'm sorry, would you of liked me to pick you up with the fucking wheel barrow."

"I didn't even want to be picked up by you."

"Glad we're on the same page," I say as we drive away.

"Quit it," Keanu says. "Anyway, so I can stop referring to them by their hair colour and gender, what are your friends names?"

"Why are you even referring to them at all?"

"What does it matter, they come up in subject sometimes. What are their names?"

"Elle, Gabe and Liv." Stella, Gabriel and Olivia? "Oh and Mia."

The two chat the whole ride and I just listen. Part of me wished neither of them were in the car. I would like to go home and start my homework not hang out with them.

Keanu is exhausting sometimes. Never stops gossiping or ranting. Leo however is pretty quiet when he wants to be but he's mouthy.

I pull into the driveway. When we get inside we're the only ones home. I'm home alone a majority of the time due to being an only child and parents working a lot.

"Kinda just wanted to watch a movie but—" I look in Leo's direction.

"Why don't we go on the horses?"

"No," Leo says.

"Okay fine, you don't go on the horse. I want to watch Andrew do jumps."

"I don't really feel like it and—"

"Please," Keanu says. "C'mon and you can wear all the gear I think it's hot."

"You seriously did not force me to come here for this?" Leo groans to Keanu.

"Well dad wants you to learn so I don't know... take some notes?"

"Unbelievable."

"I'm not riding but hey we can make him ride right?" I turn to Keanu.

"No. I don't want to be the only one on the god damn horse."

"Fine I'll go on Nano."

"Ugh why can't we just play a stupid board game?"

"We can do that."

"You ruined me getting to see Andrew in his riding gear," Keanu mutters to her brother.

"And you ruined my Wednesday night, what's your point?"

I get up to walk to the cupboard full of board games and this time I pick monopoly.

"Because we don't all seem to hate each other enough I think this game is appropriate," I say dropping it on the floor in front of them.

I set up the game following the rules and rules that we wrote in when my family played years and years ago.

Things like if you land on a spot where you have to pay that money goes into the middle, you roll a double and you collect the money. Roll two ones and you get $500.

A bit later we've all bought the properties and are arguing trades.

"C'mon trade me boardwalk for two yellows. We'll both have full sets."

"Give me The boardwalk and I'll give you all my pink."

"Why do you want the blue? You don't even have any," Keanu snaps at Leo.

"You'll build on it and then I'll be paying a thousand dollars in no time if I land on it."

"I'm not trading the damn boardwalk," I say.

"Fine. I'll give you my park place if— never mind no I won't."

Between Keanu and I we have the most expensive ones but we both only have one full set. Leo bought all the cheap ones and has been building on them because it's cheap and it's been costing Keanu and I a lot of money.

Keanu rolls the dice and we all watch as she moves her figure, the cat, to land on one of Leo's properties.

"Hah, pay up. One eighty."

"Damn, when'd these spots get so pricey." Keanu shakes her head before turning to me. "He beats me in everything. Chess, cards, Mario Kart, ugh anything."

"You don't have strategy," Leo says without even looking up from his phone. Keanu is really bright but she doesn't have patience for long term things like non physical contact games or thinking strategically.

Something moving outside catches my eyes. I look out the window to see Mila riding Poppy out in the woods. Over the years shes created trails through them.

I kind of wish I was outside right now.
