It's another day. Another day of pushing myself to my limits, to better myself, my game and my National teammates. We landed in Idaho yesterday, and today is our final practice before we face off against Chile tomorrow. It's just a friendly match but we treat all games the same - as a must win.

Back at Orlando, I push myself to just have the opportunity to travel the country with the National team, they all know why so they all understand. They know I want to find my daughter. I don't know how I will, I don't know what she looks like. I only remember seeing her as a sleeping little baby, laying in my arms while I sat in the hospital bed.

I woke up the next day to the nurses, doctors and other patients in the maternity ward screaming and crying. I was utterly confused until a nurse approached me with two policemen walking beside her. They explained that, for reasons unknown to them, there was a raid on the hospital which seemed to be organised. Some took drugs and equipment, while others took some of the newborns. Once they explained to me that my daughter was one of the snatched, I zoned out.

I only held her once, but I fell so in love with her, my daughter. My world.

"Al, do you need to take a break?" Tobin asks, snapping me out of my recollection, wiping the tears I didn't know had fallen.

"No, I'm okay." is all I can muster myself to say before I put my head back in the game, focusing on the task at hand.

Here we are, outside the stadium, waiting to get inside. I still can't believe Jack's mom managed to persuade my parents, I guess it's true, nobody can say no to her. However they did want to make an exception, they wanted to pick me back up and bring me home after it. I was so happy I didn't even care that they would be here in a few hours to ruin the best day of my life.

"I've never seen you so happy." Jack quipped, a huge smile on her face which mirrors the smile on mine.

We're both wearing USWNT jersey's, both belong to Jack, my parents would never spend that much money on me for one shirt. She chose to wear her shirt donning the famous 'Morgan 13' while I opted for Heath, the number 17 player being my favorite, she makes soccer to much fun to watch.

Once we finally get into the stadium, we find out that we're quite near the team bench near the front of the stands. Just our luck that the bench we're next to gets occupied by the Chile team. Then again, we don't care much, we're too happy just simply being here.

"That was so awesome! WOOOOO!" I watch with an amused grin as Jack continues to jump around like a toddler on a sugar rush. USA won of course, 4-1, Alex Morgan got a hat-trick with Heath adding the fourth after Chile got on the board.

In the middle of talking with Jack about the game, we get interrupted by a voice towards the field, we look to see Tobin Heath watching us, leaving us wide eyed.

"I like your jersey." She points out to me, before she stops and seems to stare at me as her eyebrows furrow.

"Uh...thanks. It's hers actually." I breathe out, pointing at Jack, who is still looking like a deer caught in headlights. It's another few minutes before Tobin speaks again, not taking her eyes off of me. Can't lie, it's unnerving having your idol stare at you for no apparent reason.

"Don't you have your own?"

I know it's an innocent question but I still feel ashamed, yet I can't lie to her, she's Tobin freaking Heath!

"Uh...no, my parents...they wouldn't let me spend that kind of money on a jersey." I bite my lip out of anxiety that I may be being judged by my hero.

"I'm sorry about that. In that case, here, you can have mine." She takes her jersey off and hands it to me. I hesitate before accepting the jersey my idol hands me.

"Wow...thanks Tobin." I can't even stop the face-eating grin from appearing.

"It's no problem. You know, you remind me of...someone." She furrows her brows again after pausing, something about her tone and the look on her face tells me she's hiding something.

"Yo, Tobin!" We all look to see Kelley O'Hara jogging over. "We gotta go get—." She pauses when she looks at me. "Holy shit, you look just like Alex!"

Tobin snaps her fingers, groaning "That's who you remind me of!" Which sounds fake, like she's playing along.

"She's your best friend, how could you not see it right away?" Kelley questions, while Jack and I watch on amused.

"I actually don't know, maybe it's–" Tobin starts but Kelley cuts her off.

"Wait. You look just like Alex!"

"Um...you just said that. Do you need checked for a concussion?" Tobin asks, making Jack and I burst out laughing.

"Wait here." Is all Kelley says before she scurries off toward the USA bench.

"Sorry about her. She's...unexplainable." Tobin shrugs, obviously well versed in the odd behaviours of Kelley O'Hara.

"It's okay, you're all amazing. But we have to go, my parents are outside and they've called seven times already. Thanks again for the jersey, Tobin."

We say our goodbyes to Tobin before we hurry out of the stadium. Jack not wanting to make my parents annoyed for being kept waiting. On the otherhand, I knew they would be annoyed no matter what, I just knew the longer we took, the worse my beating would be when we all get home.

"There you are, we've been calling and calling you! What the fuck took so long?!" I bit my lip at my fathers tone of voice while my mother stood beside him with a scowl on her face.

"ANSWER YOUR FATHER!"

I flinch, and take a side glance towards Jack, who looked shocked and confused at how my parents are behaving, never having witnessed it, before I could answer another car pulls up, and Jack's mother rolls down her window beckoning her daughter in. I hug her and tell her to go, knowing she's hesitating to leave me with my parents for the first time ever.

I wait until Jack and her mother have driven off, before I turn back to my parents, to recieve a punch to the jaw knocking me to the ground.

"Hey! What the fuck! Leave her alone!"

I spit the blood out of my mouth and look up to see seven angry women storming their way over. I recognize them all immediately as Tobin, Ali, Ashlyn, Kelley, Kling, Pinoe and the Alex Morgan, who for some reason looks much angrier than the rest.

"Shut the fuck up." My dad snarls. "Don't tell me how to handle my own daughter."

The players all share a glance with Alex, which I notice but I look away when she looks towards me.

"Where the fuck did you get that? Did you steal that?!" My mom shrieks as she points at the jersey in my hand that Tobin gave me, which is now stained red with my blood.

"What...no, I didn't. I—" Im cut off with a slap to my face, hearing the soccer superstars gasp.

"I gave her that jersey. She didn't steal it." Tobin adds her input, her hand holding Alex's arm stopping her from moving towards me, and while her voice is calm her eyes, face and clenched fist free of Alex says otherwise.

"Yeah right," my dad chuckles bitterly. "Like any of you would waste your time with this little slut." My dad grabs me, opens the back door to their car and throws me in, slamming the door behind me, but not before grabbing Tobin's jersey from my hands, despite how tightly I gripped it.

Once my parents get in the car, my dad rolls down his drivers seat window and tosses the jersey out onto the ground before driving away while I remain quiet in the backseat, too ashamed to look out the window for one last glace towards my idols, and one woman in particular who couldn't take her eyes off of me - Alex.

I can't believe I found her. I can't believe the kind of people she lives with. The only thought that got me through all these years of searching for her was that she would hopefully be with a kind, loving family that would treat her right. Now that I know that isn't the case, the hope I had is replaced by anger.

"That was her wasn't it?" Ali asks me as Ashlyn pulls me in for a hug, the others following suit and before I know it, I'm in the middle of a group hug.

"Yeah...And I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for Kels."

Nobody was in the mood to joke, apparently we had been angered by the way those filthy adults spoke to my daughter. Tobin especially seemed angry, I watched the others walk back to the bus, leaving Tobs and I standing there, looking off in the direction my daughter was taken.

"I need to get her back Tobs, I can't leave her with people like that. She's so fucking skinny, and all those bruises?" I say as Tobin slowly walks over to pick up her bloodstained jersey from the concrete.

"Hey, hey. Calm down, Lex." She wraps her arms around me as I begin to shake out of anger and panic that something bad is going to happen to my baby.

"Come on girls! We need to head back to the hotel!"

"Jill's right, we have to go. Staring off in the distance won't make her magically reappear. We know roughly where she is now, it'll be easier to find her. Let's go Alex." Tobin appeals, but gives up and grabs my hand to drag me to the bus when I don't move.

Hang on baby, I'm coming for you.
