《Hidden Riches》Chapter 13

"Bathroom break everyone!" Grace yelled.

I looked to Bunny. Her eyes were open, but they were hooded. She must be still tired. I slowly let her go and got off the bus.

A dirty gas station stood before us. They began to walk inside it.

I was disgusted. There's no way I'm peeing in there.

I walked behind the gas station and peed onto a tree. Once I finished, I zipped my pants, then went to the front of the gas station.

Heather was waiting for me with a big smile on her face. "Logan bear!" She ran and hugged me. Heather was one of the cheerleaders for the basketball team. She always tried to cheer for me the loudest, but her sister Chloe always beat her to it. I knew she liked me, but I liked Bunny.

"Heather, what the hell are you doing here? Since when do you attend cooking class?" I said, making sure no one was watching us.

"I'd ask the same to you, Logan." She giggled.

"I'm helping out a friend. And you?"

"Word went around that you'd be here, so I came to!"

Damn you, Violet.

"Heather, you can't just come here because I did!" Although I was saying this, I only came because Bunny wanted me to and I made her cuddle with me so I'd come. I'm just as bad as she is.

"Oh come on, Logan! Don't be mad at me. I just wanted to see you. I haven't seen you in so long. Not since we had sex a few months ago."

"Forget about that, Heather." I was too embarrassed to talk about that. I had feelings for Bunny now. The feelings I had for Heather didn't matter anymore.

"I can't forget. It was the best night of my life. I miss the feeling of you inside me, Logan bear. It was so good." She said as if she was out of breath.

"Shut up, Heather. Get over yourself." I quickly walked past her, but she grabbed my arm.

"That girl you're with...she's cute, isn't she?"

I pulled my arm away from her. "No, she's gorgeous." I said with a smile.

"Do you like her, Logan bear?" She gave me sad eyes.

"Hey you two! Get on the damn bus!" Violet yelled at us. We got back on with the rest of the students.

I couldn't believe it. Heather thinks Bunny is cute. I was smiling a lot bigger than I should have, but I couldn't help it.

I sat down in my seat next to Bunny. She quickly turned her head away from me and looked out the window. I had a feeling she did it so I couldn't see her face.

"Bunny, are you okay?"

She only shrugged, looking out the window.

Did I do something to upset her?

The bus started to drive again. Bunny went back to sleep, but instead of laying her head on me she lay it on the window.

Heather gave me a smile. I didn't smile back. When the bus stopped we got off.

I took Bunny's luggage from her. She still didn't look at me. We walked into the hotel and up the stairs. "Alright everyone, I assume you already decided who you'd share a room with. Go on." Violet said.

Bunny began to walk toward a big white room. I followed her because I wanted it to.

Suddenly, Heather appeared infront of me. "Hi Logan bear!" She whisper yelled. "Let's share a room."

"No, Heather. Stop bothering me. I'm already sharing a room with someone else."

Bunny was gone. I watched her long brown hair flow into a room further down the hall. She slammed the door shut.

"Oh would you look at that? She's jealous." Heather giggled.

"Fuck off, Heather." I went down the hall to the room and swung the door open. She looked up at me, then quickly turned away. "Bunny, I thought you wanted the room down there. Do you not want it anymore?"

"You and that blonde can have it." She slightly growled.

"What?" Why in hell would I ever want to share a room with Heather?

Violet came in, holding a hammer. "Python, go down there and help on the stand. We need one more person."

I decided to give Bunny her space and left. We gathered all the pieces of the stand together and began to build it. The guys continued to stare at me, so I glared at them.

Is it really that much of a surprise that I'm here? I mean, I didn't expect myself to be here either.

I could feel someone watching me. I expected Heather, but it was Bunny.

I gave her a smile. She quickly turned and walked away. My smile quickly faded.

Bunny...

Once I finished with the stand I watched Bunny, Violet and Grace paint the stand. They began to place food in plates and bowls on the stand. The food looked so delicious. Bunny was so talented.

"Logan bear!" Heather yelled my name. "We need to throw away this extra wood."

I picked up the pieces and followed her to the back of the hotel to throw it all away.

We dumped the pieces into the trash can. Heather stepped closer to me with a devilish smile on her face. "Logan bear..."

"What do you want, Heather? Stop calling me that. It's annoying."

"Are you planning on quiting basketball? Noah told me you were thinking about it." She twirled a few strands of her hair between her fingers.

"I-I am. My shots have been really off lately. We lost the game this week because of me. I don't want to drag down the team."

"What?! You're not dragging the team down at all!"

"Yes, I am. We lost the game for Christ sake, Heather! We have a big game coming up soon. We can't afford to lose this one!"

She stepped closer to me so we were only a few inches apart. "We won't lose, Logan bear! You know my big sister will be upset with you if you leave!"

"I don't care about what Chloe thinks."

"Do you care about what I think?"

"No. I only care about what Bunny-" she grabbed a hold of my shirt and smashed her lips onto mine. She sucked on my tongue and licked my lips. I heard a loud drop and then a slam.

I quickly pushed her away. She landed on the ground on her butt. "She got jealous again. What a pity." She gave me a that devilish smile again.

"You're insane!" I ran back into the kitchen and searched for Bunny. "Bunny?! Bunny?!" I called.

I went outside and searched through the crowd of people that had formed. I called her name. "Bunny?! Bunny?!"

She didn't answer. She must be inside. I ran back into the hotel. I quickly ran up the stairs.

I ran around the entire hotel calling her name, looking into rooms and even going back down into the kitchen.

I still couldn't find her.

My hands covered my face and I sighed. She thinks I kissed Heather.

I found myself on the third floor where our room was. I was out of breath and I needed to lay down. I slid the door open and walked in.

There she was, laying on the bed, under the covers. She looked to be a sleep.

Was that her outside?

I soon realized it was her because I could see her shoes peaking out from the bottom of the blanket.

I slowly closed the bedroom door behind me. I came toward the bed. She was shaking. I grabbed the blanket over her head and gently pulled it down so I could see her face.

My heart shattered.

Her eyes were red. Tears were flowing from her red eyes and down her cheeks. Her lips were quivering. She let out a whimper when she saw my face.

What have I done?!

I quickly gathered her in my arms. I hugged her small body tight and held her head to my chest. "I'm so sorry, Bunny! Please forgive me! She kissed me, I swear! I don't care about anyone but you, Bunny! I would never do that to you! I promise!"

I heard her cries increase and I held her tighter.

I was scared. I was scared I had ruined her like Peyton did.

Even though she was crying, I knew it was because she had feelings for me too.
