Navene continues to play with the young princess who followed her brother out arriving shortly after. Navene met her and she got lost playing with the wolves she has grown to adore. They are friendly and playfully towards the new comer. Prince Caspian continues to sit with Artemis and look upon her as if she was an artwork. Navene glances up to see that Artemis has chosen to not put back on her cloak, allowing the young prince to admire her true form. Cass notices that Navene is no longer looking to the wolves and follows his line of sight. She gasp and covers her mouth as she stands up slowly.

Sitting on the log next to the lake is a goddess. Cass continues to look upon the silver hair enchantress while walking to her. Navene watches closely but doesn't interfere. The wolves all watch as the young princess walks slowly to the young woman who is still looking out to the lake. Caspian notices movement from his shoulder and looks back to see his sister staring wide eyed at Artemis. Caspian grins seeing how his sister is looking upon the beauty beside him.

"Ar-Artemis?"

A timid voice reaches Artemis ears as she turns around earning another gasp from the young girl. Cass slowly walks around in front of them as Artemis' eyes stay trained on her worried for her reaction. Cass couldn't be more convinced of her being a goddess than when Artemis slowly stands up from the log. The lake river glistening and casting rays of light onto the metallic dress upon Artemis. Her hair is now braided to the side. Cass studies her as if she is a mythological creature until she notice's Artemis' inkling.

She steps forward to get a closer look which makes Artemis takes a small step back automatically. The prince notices and stands up beside her taking the young enchantress' hand gently into his own. The embers burning within the pit of the young prince's stomach erupt causing a fury of flames to course throughout his body... All by a mere touch of the hand. Artemis looks to the prince who gives a reassuring smile and a little squeeze of their conjoined hands. She looks back to the young princess whose smile is stretching the length of her face.

Cass stood there observing as her brother was quick to react to the beauties discomfort. She was not aware that she was making Artemis uncomfortable but luckily her brother did notice and was able to soothe her. Cass broke into a smile seeing a very strong bond forming between her brother and the beauty in front of her.

"Artemis, you are a goddess..." Cass' voice trails of as she studies the inkling running down the length of Artemis' arm.

Navene smirks watching how both the prince and princess become hypnotized by Artemis. He recalls the first time he met her and how he thought as well that she was an angel. True enough, that is what she became to him. His Guardian.

The wolves ears perk and they are quick to stand looking up to the sky. Navene goes on alert drawing out his sword. The wolves go and gather around the unknowing trio standing near the water.

Artemis, something is coming

Artemis closes her eyes and expands her mind seeing a winged creature flying directly towards her. She opens her eyes quickly.

PROTECT THEM!

She says loudly through the link to Navene and the wolves. They all nod as Artemis' eyes stay trained on the night sky. Navene is quick to walk to them his sword still to his side. Prince Caspian and Princess Cassandra eyebrow's are furrowed by the sudden change as they now see the wolves have encircled them protectively.

"Prince, we need to leave... Now." Navene says gently taking the young ladies hand. Prince Caspian looks to Artemis whose eye's are still trained upwards. He looks up but doesn't see anything. He then feels a gentle nudge to his calf. He looks down seeing a wolf gently pushing him away from his beloved.

"What about-"

"Sir, trust me please." Navene says not leaving room for argument. Prince Caspian follows reluctantly as he feels the winds change around them. He glances upwards however the night stars are still shining brightly. He glances back at Artemis who he notices hasn't moved other than closing her silver eyes. He stops in his tracks trying to figure out what is happening. A growl emits from below him and he notices the wolf that nudged him is warning him to continue moving.

Navene has pulled the young princess into the bushes where the wolves follow. Artemis' beloved Vatalanie (Va-Tal-a-knee), continues nudging at Prince Caspian getting him to move. He finally follows her lead and gets behind the large bushel. He looks over noticing how Navene has one arm securely wrapped around his sister and the other continues to hold his sword ready to defend if the time comes. He looks back at Artemis whose voice has began to raise in volume as she continues singing.

Artemis continues singing with her eyes closed waiting for the creature to get to her safely. The sudden wind gush telling her that the creature is right above her. She opens her eyes when she feels the land tremble below her feet. She feels her eyes slightly go wide by the remarkably large winged dark beauty in front of her. The silver eyes matching her own with the horns as black as ash. The creature is easily twice the size of the bear. It bares it's teeth to her as it's chest rumbles with a low growl. It's teeth as sharp as talons and the tongue pitch forked like a serpent.

Navene's blood run colds looking out seeing the dragon laying in front of Artemis. Although it is young, it can easily over power the four of them. It's tail slowly moving back and forth is the length of a fallen tree. It's scales are as black as the night sky. He watches intently as Artemis takes a gentle step forward earning a low growl from the creature. He notices quickly the prince draws out his sword and he is quick to react.

"Do. Not. Interfere. Prince."

He grits out lowly to not startle the dragon. Prince Caspian's heart is pumping out of his chest terrified for the harm that may fall upon his beloved. He forces his body to trust the young man and stays put even though every muscle is screaming for him to defend. He has never seen a winged beast such as this and fears it.

Artemis continues singing as she takes the final step to the beast. He raises his head as if daring her. Artemis stops and bows down to the creature knowing the strength it possesses and giving it the respect that is due.

The dragon looks upon the life that he felt so drawn to. The pain from the cut on his neck coursing throughout his form. He leans down sniffing the unique person and realizes that she does not smell like the rest. The beast lays his head down on the earth's floor and tilts it's neck baring the cut to the young individual in front of him.

Artemis looks up seeing the beast has relaxed as she stands back up slowly and places her hand on it's snout. It blows hot air out in a huff but doesn't retract from her touch. She closes her eyes and once again expands her mind before snapping the bond in place. Her eyes snapping back open.

My name is Artemis, may I know what they call you?

The beast's eyes open training on the silver eyes that are currently shining. The young life smiles gently.

Kaleo

Thank you Kaleo. Where does it hurt?

The beast turns slightly allowing the red dribbling cut to be seen. Artemis sings as she walks right next to his head. Her height is barely taller than the dragon's head lying on the ground. She sees the wound and walks up placing her hand gently next to it. The creature hisses making Navene and Caspian go stiff. Caspian couldn't believe his eyes. The winged creature is allowing Artemis to touch it.

Kaleo, close your eyes while I sing. It will help.

Kaleo is too tired to argue with the young life and relents. Artemis places her hand over the wide cut and begins singing a familiar tune. She closes her eyes as she feels the heat run through her fingertips into the creature under her touch. Kaleo sighs feeling the warmth surging through his form.

Caspian couldn't believe his eyes as he see's how Artemis' hair almost glows as she continues singing. What is more interesting is how her tattoo seems to be growing. The tattoo now covers to the tip of her fingers. He studies her hand as he notices the wound on the beast is closing slowly.

Artemis can feel her energy is slowly draining but continues knowing the creature needs this. She finishes the song and lets her hand limp to her side as she gently sways with the loss of power. She has never felt so drained before.

Kaleo opens his eyes and feels rejuvenated. He turns his head slowly but doesn't feel any pain. He sighs in content before turning to the sole savior from his injury. He then notices that she is loosing balance and he is quick to coil his tail around her waist helping her remain upright.

Caspian sees the dragon wrapping it's tail around his beloved's waist and he is quick to react. Navene lets go of the princess to grab the prince's arm. Prince Caspian whips his head to the young man with flames dancing in his eyes.

"Unhand me Navene." He says firmly.

"Sir, he will not harm her."

Navene says calmly looking back at the beast holding Artemis to it's side. Caspian looks back and tries to relax seeing the beast rubbing it's large head against Artemis who is half petting the creature while trying to stay conscious.

Kaleo just now feels the presences behind him and he looks directly over to the bushes where the trio are still hiding. They all three hold their breathes. Navene chuckles making Caspian snap his head to him.

"Artemis says that Kaleo would like for us to come out."
