I stood staring out the window of my bedroom. The sun has set but the sky was still bright from the full moon. No clouds were in the sky tonight. My heart was pounding after the week of adventures. I smiled softly to myself. I was going to be a grandfather and i couldn't be happier but it felt like something was missing. I tilted my head slightly to look at the full moon only to see a brown blue eyed bat fly over my head. I blinked in surprise. There was hardly any other bats around this area.

My mind went blank as I watched the bat. They bat looked at me and smiled. What the?! I couldn't help but feel hypnotized by the beauty but as soon as it came the bat was gone. I wondered who the bat was and now my curiosity got the better of me. I shook the thoughts away and turned to head inside to check on Mavis and Jonathan to see how they were doing.
