Chapter 18
SeniaMarie Milano
2 months later
"This is it. This is definitely the dress." Gina spoke twirling in the big vanity mirror.
"Bitch I'm finally goin' down." She laughed and I was so happy for her.
"You are, I'm so happy for you guys." I was really amazed how pop started to actually take their engagement serious.
"How are things with you now..." she trailed off.
"Things are great actually, the online boutique is definitely coming together."
"I know I was suppose to place an order for that white sequin backless dress you got for our engagement party." She mumbled as I undid her dress and bagged it up.
"You better hurry cause baby, those orders don't be playing." I spoke as she laughed.
"I seen..."
"You spoke to Rah yet?" She asked and I shook my head.
"No I haven't heard anything from him."
I thought our temporary separation would've helped Rah mature and realized what he was missing but I guess he wasn't missing anything cause he just dropped me like I was nothing.
His mom tried to kept whatever she spoke about him at a minimum but all she was saying was that he was flying outta state often.
I guess this separation showed me what I needed cause now I was just focused on me. He could do him, I could do me. We weren't together. From time to time I saw his stories where he was with his boys in the club but what struck me was seeing the fact that he was in strip clubs throwing money all about. I couldn't even be fake hurt. I cried that whole night . About a week later I saw that he unfollowed me so I unfollowed him back so I was back on clueless on what he was doing.
But we were done now so it wasn't my business.

"I'm sorry babe..." she mumbled and I shrugged.
"Im really not trying dwell on it can we just get ready for this wedding already?" I said as she laughed.
"You know exactly where the venue is for the party right?" She asked and I shook my head.
"Google maps gonna find out." I rolled my eyes as she laughed.
"Okay, so here's the idea for it." Ms. Michelle came in with the iPad giving Gina a 3D image of what her dress would look like.
"We're doing a 10 foot train. Cinderella style but it's detachable so you'll be able to your wedding dress also as your reception dress."
She said finishing off and Gina saw the picture and her mouth instantly fell.
"I love iiit." She gasped.
"So this is what we're going with?" She asked and Gina nodded.
"Yess, everything's exactly how I want it."
"Ok I'll get everything written up." She spoke leaving us alone once more.
"I'm so happy now that everything feels as if it's literally falling into place." She breathe smiling.
"You've got a florist?" I asked her.
"Nope you got one?" I took the card off of the table and gave it to her.
"His name is Cameron, trust he'll be delighted to help." I finished.
"Thank you so much for the help babe." She said hugging me as I hugged back.
"No problem, remember your next fittings in January I'll send a reminder." I told her before walking out.
"Ok boo."
I was done with work and I had just gotten Tae from school.
I was now on my way home so could've at least cleaned up. It wasn't much to do, but since Erin was staying with me now I had to make sure my home was always cleaned.
A lot had happened in the pass two months. I honestly thought that my problems were so bad but when you think you're going through it check someone else. Erin got kicked out due to the fact that her and her step mom were completely done playing nice.

Her dad was over the both of them and told Erin that either she'll stay and abide by their rules or she'll have to leave. I found her leaving so crazy cause when I asked her where she was gonna go she gave me a 'duh bitch' look like I was automatically supposed to know.
Come to find out Tracey decided not to go through with the abortion. Her and Torres were making it work even with her in school. I was overly proud of her honestly.
"What the hell are you doing?" I asked Erin as I walked in and she was in the kitchen doing something.
"Ok so I saw this tutorial on stuffed chicken breast and that's exactly what we're having." She said watching her phone causing me to shake my head.
"Lemme see." I said walking over to the kitchen counter setting down my purse.
"So I seen them cut it open and then pre heat this shit..." she said confused as I started to take over.
"Nia I wanted to do it..."
"Girl I'm letting you cook your shit I'm just seasoning."
I refused to be fed shit.
"So anyways, I talked to my mommy today..." she trailed off.
"And?" I looked at her as she shrugged.
"She's moving back out here."
"That's not good I'm guessing." I said turning on the oven pre heating it.
"Girl she's unstable and doesn't knows what she wants. Hence third marriage." She said as we both laughed.
"That's wild. Imma need you to be on your best behavior still since my Nana is coming down here next week."
"Damn I miss her." She spoke grabbing a Pepsi from the fridge.
"I know right. I feel like so far everything's coming along. The holidays. My birthday after the holidays. Girl I don't know." I smacked.
"Crazy nineteen it is."
"Crazy is correct, you stuff em in the baker. Leave em for about twenty minutes.." I said giving her the pan of chicken breast.
"Okay..."
"Yea, and you better watch it Erin."
"Girl I will I ain't slow." She said waving me off.
I went to my room and began slipping out of my clothes after I took a nice warm shower I threw on one of my night dresses and sat on my bed seeing I had a message.
I read his message laughing to myself.
I responded hoping he'd catch my pun.
😂😂😂
I seen him and sighed. Cameron was a nice guy. I'm talking overall nice. His family had money too. He helped his mom out in delivery and running her business time to time. Very successful too, they were one of New York's top florist business for the past twenty years I've heard.
Cameron was cool but he was a hella flirt. You'd agree to a date with him without even knowing you did how much of a smooth talker he was. Like I said he was nice but that's all I knew of him.
"Nia foods ready." Getting up I placed my phone on charge and walked down the hallway as the nice aroma of food hit my nose.
"Damn..." I mumbled.
"Smells good don't it." I watched as she picked me up a stuffed chicken with some mash and placed it on my plate.
"Deontae." She called out for him.
This was something I could get used to.
