Days after days passed by after Meryl's instant coma. Nights sleeping on the hospital couch with Meryl by his side. He was shattered. His love was heartbroken and they couldn't even talk it out. At this point Pierce was starting to become depressed. Thoughts of losing his love came into his mind everyday because of seeing her fragile pale body not moving ruined him. His kids stopped by the hospital some days but only to see there mother. Everytime they came, Pierce was kicked out of the room because they couldn't face their father.

About two months later Meryl still had not awoken. Pierce was just beat. Bags in his eyes. He barely eaten each day. To be honest the doctors and nurses were starting to get nervous about him.

"Mr. Brosnan you don't look well you must get some rest." A nurse came in as she checked on Meryl.

"Don't worry I'm fine." He whispered and the nurse just shrugged. Kneeling on the ground with his head hovering over the bed and laying on Meryl's stomach he felt comforted. Though she couldn't play with his hair or nape which Pierce loved. He just needed to be with her.

Another month went by. Still no signs of Meryl awakening. Pierce was fucked. Still not eating or drinking water.

"Hello Mr. Brosnan." Doctor Shepherd came in.

"Hi." Pierce answered quickly.

"I have some unfortunate news to tell you." This worried Pierce immediately. "Three months have gone by and Meryl hasn't shone any signs of awakening."

"W-wait I-I I'm.... right here." Pierce quickly looked to his left and so did the Doctor. There she was. Meryl Streep. Alive from a coma.

"Holy shit." Pierce said under his breath and ran to her side and hugged her. Tears of joy sprang out of his eyes. His love was awake. "Oh how I've missed you."

"What happened."

"Well Mrs. Streep, you were in a coma for a few months. Glad to see you finally awake." The doctor replied.
