《WALKER》ONE

I threaded carefully through the woods my feet crushing gently into the snow with each step. I constantly looked over my shoulders while my grip on my gun tightened. As I realized that I wasn't being followed anymore I placed my gun back into its holster.

I noticed a small house in an open field so I headed toward it. Hopefully there's no survivors.

As I closed in on the house I sucked in a deep breath before propping my back up against a tree.

A sudden groan was heard from behind me so I held my breath for a split second before turning around and swinging my axe across the air, the blade cut into the zombies rotten skull and I let out a shaky breath before wiping my hair out of my face.

I carefully moved back to the tree before holding my axe against my chest. I took in a sharp breath before darting towards the house in the middle of the snow covered field.

As soon as I reached the front door of the house I rested my hand on the handle. My eyes and ears pierced in alert, I notice that the door was already open. I carefully pushed the wooden door open with my foot before walking inside.

The house was dark inside and a foul smell settled in the air. I pulled my nose up in disgust before walking down the hallway. I held my axe up before pushing doors open left and right.

I let out a nervous sigh before going up the stairs and the foul smell worsened. I gagged before covering my nose with my forearm.

I checked all the rooms when I heard a slight thud to my left. I noticed a small door and a frown settled on my forehead.

I suck in a deep breath before taking my gun out and placing my finger on the trigger. I kicked the little door open and a gasp escaped my lips as I found a little girl propped up inside.

I placed my gun into its holster before taking a small step back and as I did so I bumped into something hard.

As I turned around I found a gun resting against my forehead. I looked up and a man smiled back at me with rotten teeth.

"Put the axe down princess." He said before pressing the gun harder against my skull so I dropped my axe. His dirty eyes roamed over my body causing my skin to crawl in discomfort.

"Your gun too." He said with a smug smile on his face so I carefully took my gun out of its holster.

In a swift movement I spit into his eyes before shooting him in the stomach. He slumped onto me and we both fell to the floor, I pushed the smelly man off of me and found the girl standing above me with my gun in her hand.

She pointed it at my forehead and my eyes widened.

"Don't shoot!" I yelled in panic.
