Looking at Jungkook, Taehyung watched the male talk on the phone with his friend Yoongi. They've been on the phone for quite some bit now and Taehyung had no clue why but they were. Jungkook didn't even make sense on Taehyung's side of things. Who was Jimin anyway? Not able to fully listen though since Namjoon was also in the room with Taehyung. Bothering or distracting him, but it felt more like a distraction to Taehyung if he was being honest.
"And I get that. It's going to be hard yes but it's not impossible. I'll still be able to get in my work from here. I'll even send it to Jimin first to talk it over with you before submitting it in." Jungkook entered the washroom. "Yoongi. Please, I know i'm indecisive but I can't leave. Maybe in a year but not now." Jungkook explained to Yoongi who was heard sighing on the other side of the phone. "Then why did you agree to come if you weren't actually coming?"
"I was going to come. I swear I was but... then Taehyung happened. Yoongi.. he's the love of my life and I can't-" Jungkook stopped talking once he realized his words which made Jungkook stop everything that he was doing. Did he just fully say Taehyung is the love of his life? Gulping, Jungkook cleared his throat right after. "I understand if what Jimin and I offered can't be accepted but I can't go. I want to do this with Yoongi. Like I said I would but I can't leave Seoul."
Jungkook stopped talking yet again just to hear Yoongi's side but nothing came from Yoongi. "Jungkook... you're asking a lot right now you know that right? I fought countless times to get u a interview with the head boss but you repeatedly missed it. I finally got you a contract and you say you don't wanna go now? It's all so sudden and I can't just snap my fingers like that. I honestly wish I could but I can only do so much." Yoongi told Jungkook who sighed.
"So what are my options then?" Jungkook asked although he felt pretty hopeless right there. "Well since you didn't sign the contract, you can still back out but maybe if you went speak to the head boss then.. maybe you can propose your idea and talk it over with him." Yoongi suggested. "I'll text you his number. Don't text him, call him and set up a meeting if you're really serious about this."
Jungkook nodded immediately although he knew Yoongi couldn't see him. "Yes, okay thank you Yoongi. I'll let you know how it goes." Jungkook finished off and hung up without giving Yoongi time to speak only because he really wanted an answer to what he could do. Waiting for the text, Jungkook looked in the mirror and saw how stressed and tired he looked. All he wanted to do was go lay with Taehyung but that couldn't happen right now.

Feeling his phone vibrate, Jungkook grabbed it and looked at the number before he said it over and over until he was putting the digits in and pressing call. Waiting a couple rings before someone answered. "Jung Hoseok speaking." came through and that made Jungkook clear his throat. "Jung Hoseok as in.. the head..." Jungkook wasn't sure why he didn't want to say head boss but it didn't come out.
With a chuckle, Hoseok hummed. "Head boss? Only Yoongi calls me thats but sure. Also known as Jung Hoseok." Hoseok introduced himself through the phone which made Jungkook sigh in relief knowing that he wasn't one of those bosses there were assholes. "Right yes. I'm Jeon Jungkook, Yoongi's partner-" Jungkook stopped when Hoseok over spoke him. "Oh! Jungkook. Yes I remember your name coming up a lot. I gave Yoongi the contract to give to you. Did you sign it?"
Hearing pages flip over, Jungkook gulped and bit his lip. "Jungkook?" Hoseok repeated once he didn't hear Jungkook coming through. "Yeah? sorry. Actually about the contract... I was wanting to speak to you about something. When you have time I could come over and speak to you about what I have in mind." Jungkook suggested and it was quite for a second as on Hoseok's end, he was looking at his schedule for when he was free but he was pretty busy with meetings. "You know what? I'm free for the next hour so if you could come in right now that would be great." Hoseok suggested and Jungkook didn't think it would be that quick- but better than nothing.
"Yeah, I'll be there as soon as I can," Jungkook announced and after saying their goodbyes, Jungkook hung up and walked into the room where Namjoon was talking to Taehyung. "Hey, I'll be back okay? I have somewhere to be but I'll be quick." Jungkook grabbed his sweater and looked at Taehyung who nodded. The boy was actually really tired but since Jungkook was there he forced himself to stay awake. Wasn't going to force himself to stay awake for long though as he waved at Jungkook who leaned in and kissed his forehead before leaving.
"I like him," Namjoon told Taehyung who had his eyes closed. With a small hum and smile, Taehyung opened his eyes. "Yeah? Well don't get any funny ideas, he's mine." That made Namjoon fake a gag. "Yuck, I have Jin, I like him better anyway." Namjoon looked away with a scoff. Taehyung laughed before he slowly started to drift to sleep.
After walking in the cold for some minutes after getting out of the cab, Jungkook looked at the building he was once at before he saw Jia. This time nothing was in the way of him entering the building and so he walked in. Warming up his hands by holding his own hand, Jungkook stopped at the front desk. "Hi, I'm here for Jung Hose-" Jungkook's wording stopped as he saw an orange hair male walking over. "Jeon Jungkook?" Hoseok asked while he started to extend his arm already. "Oh-" Jungkook let go of his own hand and grabbed Hoseok's. "Yes, I'm Jeon Jungkook." Jungkook smiled and shook Hoseok's hand.

"Take a message for me. I have some business with Mr. Jeon, alright?" Hoseok informed the front desk lady who nodded and wished Hoseok a good day since it was rare to ever see Hoseok come grab his clients. He usually stayed in his office and waited but clearly, Jungkook had to be special. The nerve-wracking part of it all was following after Hoseok to his office. Hearing all the plans Hoseok had for him and Yoongi in America. "Since I can't go to America due to how much I'm needed here, I got the next best person I know which happens to be Yoongi."
Walking into Hoseok's office, Jungkook nodded and took a seat while Hoseok grabbed Jungkook a water bottle and handed it to him. "When I heard Yoongi wanted to bring you along I was against it at first but then I heard your works, your voice. America would be lucky to have you both, and of course Jimin." Hoseok sat down on his seat and looked at Jungkook who had a smile from the compliment. "But the reasoning your here, you want to talk to me about the contract? What's your problem there hm?" Hoseok pulled out the contract.
"Well-" Jungkook sucked in a breath which made Hoseok stop his actions. "I haven't actually looked at the contact and I'm sure it's a great contract because you're great" Jungkook babbled which didn't get him anywhere so he just came out with it. "But I can't go. Or more like... I want to go but not right now. See... I only wanted to go to America to start over and of course, making music was the plus side of it all but there is something... or someone more important than making music. So... my point of being here is to ask you if I can still work with Yoongi but... here in Seoul. Jimin can go on my behalf, in which he volunteered to do and I can work from Seoul."
Hoseok looked a little confused at Jungkook's wording. "Alright so... you want to work with Yoongi but not in America? And Jimin told you he would take your position for you? How would that work actually? And do you have a studio, equipment to help you with this idea? How would this benefit me with you being here and Yoongi being there?" Hoseok asked, looking more serious now which made Jungkook nervous. "Well- no I don't have anything but..." but what? Come on Jungkook, but what? "... It was an idea. I didn't actually think about it. I don't have a studio, or equipment... and I don't know how it would benefit you."
Jungkook sighed and shrugged as he looked at Hoseok. "I love this opportunity, don't get me wrong I was positive I wanted to go but everything has changed now. I get if the idea was not what you wanted to hear or if you won't even consider it which I understand! Completely I do... but I'm gonna have to walk away from the offer." Jungkook told Hoseok who looked stunned by Jungkook's words. Licking his bottom lip, Hoseok sat back in his seat and hummed. "So what I'm hearing is you don't want to go to America, correct?" Hoseok tilted his head a bit.
Nodding, Jungkook agreed to what Hoseok was saying. Sighing, Hoseok nodded and stayed quiet for the remaining minutes. Jungkook thinking Hoseok was probably disappointed but when Hoseok opened his mouth, it was actually a plan he made up from being quiet and thinking it over. "Jimin will have his own troubles in America. Trying to hold up his end of the bargain with your end of the bargain will send him right back here." Hoseok explained to Jungkook who nodded. "Which I don't want. Neither do I want to lose Jeon Jungkook either."
The words made Jungkook's eyes widen as Hoseok continued his words. "So how about this. You work for me instead. I can provide you with the equipment needed. A studio of your own in this building and all you need to do is keep up with Yoongi. You'll still be working with Yoongi of course but you'll be working under me. With this I can decide if your work would be compatible with Yoongi's work. We could really make something out of you both if you really wanted." Hoseok suggested his whole plan in front of Jungkook who couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"So how about it Jungkook?"

The Pugilist
Vincent Roy Salazar has never been your common folk. He climbed any mountain he found in front of him. From a bright young student to an accomplished professor, his life can be described as a continuous race to the top of his chosen fields. Patriarch of a loving family, proud father of three already grown siblings, Roy realizes that his life is the perfect picture of what the average man strives for, and for that he is truly grateful. But happiness is a difficult-to-reach goal, and as he lies in a pool of his own blood, his fist cracked, a young lady crying while cradling his head, he remembers what really gave sense to his youth. Pure Unadulterated Violence The Pugilist wants to be a different take on isekai shenanigans. What would happen if instead of a moronic idiot, a depressed high schooler, or a wannabe hero the one to get his do-over is a fully grown man that has already seen what life has to offer in full? Someone who conformed himself to society, but has always craved something different? In a journey of self-discovery, academy building, god-slaying, and absolutely no harem we follow someone driven by logic, experience, and a smokey goal: to fuck shit up, have fun while doing so, and maybe resume his career as a professor for those strange, magic-wielding, unstable youths that seems to never get enough of his presence. Guys, a few notes, first of all, this is my first time writing long-form fiction. I have a background in psychology, and my main income comes from writing dreary financial articles on SEO blogs. But after a bad break-up, and finding myself falling asleep only while thinking of deus ex machina for stories on this site (and for APGTE) I decided to try my hand at this web series thingy. I'm confident in my grammar, but that's it. Everything else will be a first time, and as such any constructive criticism is encouraged and gratefully accepted. Now, on the story. Romance will be introduced once my little heart is mended, if you are scared of LGBT you may be turned off by the fact that I plan to have no taboo of any kind in my universe, but I won't ever write detailed sex scenes for any characters so don't worry too much. The litRPG part is very light and will take place later in the novel, but it's a key component nonetheless, for world-building and storyline reasons. I already have everything big planned out, so I won't drop it outta nowhere, and I hope you won't find too many flaws in how things pan out. I plan to make The Pugilist an interactive story, with secondary characters created by my audience and introduced after tweaks and careful planning. The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to build a community for myself in this time of isolation. I discovered that exercising, playing the piano or video games means jack-shit when you are utterly miserable, so I hope to give some value to my readers in exchange for praise, fame, money, and companionship. I give full props to anyone who has read this whole mess of a synopsis: I hope to not disappoint too much, now let's write some more steaming garbage that will be in dire need of editing later on.
