《KATANA ~ a MHA fanfic》Chapter 21 - Ocean eyes

"Hurry, Anna! The jet will leave without us. I'll finish this mission in Paris all by myself if you're not here in 3 seconds!"
"I'm looking for my favourite sniper rifle! I'll be right down." a stressed out Anna said while searching.
"Got it!"
They ran to their jet so that they could leave in time. They loved missions outside of the country cause that's when they get to fly, something both of them enjoyed quite a lot since they didn't do it very often.
Since they've (kind of) completed the mission in Musutafu, the sisters had returned home and could let it go.
And just like that, had gone by.
It was definitely weird right when they got home, but after a while life was back to normal. That meant the phones got thrown away and all contact with the outside world.
As they sat on their jet, drinking some champagne, they both enjoyed the view. The pink clouds felt somewhat magical, it made them feel like kids. Especially Katana who couldn't remember being a kid, appreciated it. They watched it for hours until the blue eyed girl let her hair down and leaned back in her chair.
"Hey, pass me the remote."
The black haired assassin snapped out of her dreamy state and handed her sister the remote over and turned to watch the TV as well.
As Katana scrolled through the channels, she paused at one where people were cheering loudly. Another thing they loved about the jet was the TV, since they didn't get to watch any at home.
She turned the volume up and the two listened and watched.
"This is it folks, what we've been waiting for all day! The final battle between the top two first years. To the right, from class 1B's Hero Course, we have KATSUUUU TAKAHASHI!!!"
As the audience applauded, a teenage boy walked up to the stage wearing UA high clothes. He had spiky black hair, dark mysterious eyes and an emotionless face. This boy was there to win.

"His name may mean victory, but will he be able to stand up against the boy to the left? From class 1A's Hero Course, KAAAAAAI MIKIO!!!"
Out walked a pale teenage boy with white hair, ocean blue eyes and a freckled face. He actually looked very nervous, like he was going to pass out any moment.
"It's that tournament..." Anna said quietly to herself.
Katana leaned forward in her seat as she wanted to take a closer look on the fight.
"3... 2... 1... Begin!"
Suddenly, the dark haired boy disappeared, but then reappeared behind the other one. He kicked him to the ground and tried to grab him. But, it was like a switch turned on in that nervous boy, cause next thing the audience knew he was behind his opponent with white electricity lingering on his arms as he punched him out of bounds, winning the match.
"AND THE WINNER IS MIKIO!!! I guess it's tough when your own quirk is being used against you, don't you agree, Eraserhead?"
"Just like his sister was, he is a great fighter and he will one day become a great hero."
"There's no doubt about it! Well folks, that was it for the first years. Stay tuned for the award ceremony!"
"I... didn't know she had a brother." the white haired girl said and gulped.
Anna snatched the remote and turned the volume down. She took a long drink out of her glass and took the whole bottle shortly after. They pretty much stopped thinking about that city as soon as they left. Katana even stopped having visions, so seeing that schools sports festival on TV made them relive it all.
"Hand me your bottle." the white haired girl said and took a long drink from that one as well.
There was only silence and drinking for a couple of minutes. Anything that reminded them, especially Katana, of Musutafu only caused worry and frustration. But still, they couldn't keep their eyes off of the TV as they watched the award ceremony.

"Coming in strong in third place is Sakamoto and another Sakamoto. These girls have done an astonishing job all day!!!"
"That's cool. Twin girls both in third place." Katana said and smiled as she watched them get their medals.
"In second place, after winning battle after battle, the teleportation-quirk-hero in training, Takahashi from class 1B!!!"
His face was just as emotionless as before, only with a hint of frustration now. But who wouldn't be irritated after losing the final match like that?
"And finally from class 1A, he showed incredible strength, speed and technique all day. First year winner of UA highs sports festival, Mikio!!!"
"He looks like he's trained a lot for this. And that fight, wow, well deserved." Anna spoke.
Katana looked at her sister shocked.
"Are my ears deceiving me? Or are you praising this hero in training?"
"What? I know a good fighter when I see one, with or without quirks."
Katana smiled and took another drink from the bottle.
"Any words from our winner?"
Anna turned the volume up as they watched the nervous but happy boy take the mic from the dark blue haired woman and speak.
"It's an honour to be standing up here. I have amazing classmates with incredible quirks, who could've just as easily won gold today."
"And why do you think it was you who won it?"
"I didn't. Today, everyone who believed in me when I didn't, won. Especially my big sis, never ever would I have control over my lightning quirk if it wasn't for her..."
He took his medal off and looked straight into the camera.
"I hope you're proud of me, Zella."
I almost spat out my drink. I looked at the boy on the screen as he held his medal and waved it against the camera. His slightly red, sweaty face wasn't the most noticeable thing about him. Not even his freckles or white hair.
No.
It was his eyes. As deep blue as the ocean. I found myself staring at them, I couldn't look away for some reason. Why'd they look so...
Suddenly, there was a ringing in my ears followed by a familiar headache. One I haven't felt in a long time. As the ringing in my ears got louder, the tension in my head intensified.
"Katana?"
I closed my eyes trying to calm myself down. But then I couldn't open them again...
"A-Anna... it's h-happening again..."
Anna had to think for a second before she understood what was going on. It had been almost a year since I last got any visions, why were they suddenly back?
As I struggled with it, the ringing began to sound more like... cries?
In front of me was a baby. Big blue eyes, fluffy white hair and chubby cheeks. I couldn't really hear well with all the crying but, someone picked it up and put them in my arms.
"Say hi to your baby brother."
And with that, the vision ended. But when I opened my eyes, I was met by the same ones, just on the TV screen this time.
"That boy..." I said, panting.
"Here, drink some water." Anna handed over a glass and I took a long drink out of it.
"Sorry sis, can't have you use your brain and connect the dots..." Anna thought as she watched me drift off to sleep.
