《y/n Stark (Loki x Reader)》Chapter 10

I had always liked to draw, it helped me to clear my mind and calm me down, and if there was music too, hours could pass and I wouldn't have noticed.
I sat on the ground, leaning with my back against the wall, I placed the case on my right and on it the phone with the active music, the sketchbook on my legs and I began to draw the outline of the city.
While I was drawing I loved humming and I did it without realizing it.
After I didn't know how long, I heard footsteps but I didn't notice and continued to draw.
-Hey...- I heard someone speak and I looked up.
Loki.
-Hey Loki.- I greeted him with a smile, then closed the sketchbook and put down the pencil.
-Do I disturb you?- He asked.
-Not at all. Sit down.- I said moving the case and he did as I told him.
-I wanted...I wanted to apologize for how I treated you today, I didn't have to go and leave you there alone...- he said without looking at me.
-It's okay, I'm not angry with you, but I'm worried.- I said.
-Why are you worried?- He asked, turning to look at me.
-I'm worried about you Loki, you've left screaming that you are a monster and that I will abandon you when I get pissed about you.- I said remembering what he had said.
-Because that's how it is...- he repeated.
-No Loki is not like that, you have your family, you have your brother, you have the Avengers and you have me.- I smiled at him.
-But...- he tried to protest.
-No buts, we're here. Now let's change the subject, what did dad tell you?- I asked with a half smile.

-Well, he gave me a good lecture and told me that if I do it again I'm dead.- He said simply.
-He told me that he wants to put a bodyguard on me for "my safety".- I said imitating his tone.
-But don't you already have the spider boy who protects you?- He asked.
-That's what I said! - I said.
-You've also started training. It doesn't make sense to get a bodyguard now.- he continued.
-I know, Loki.- I said.
-I heard Romanoff first, she was talking to your father and I think I heard your mother's voice, but I'm sure she was on the call.- he informed me.
-I hope Nat convinces them that I don't need a bodyguard.- I said with a sigh and at that moment Lost in Japan by Shawn Mendes started -I love this song, let's dance!- I said getting up, took Loki's hand and made him stand up.
-Oh no, the god of mischief doesn't dance.- he said.
-If you want me to forgive you, you have to dance a bit, come on! You are more than a thousand years old and I bet you don't know how to move.- I joked.
-I am capable of it, but I don't feel comfortable.- he said, crossing his arms over his chest with a smile on his face.
-C'mon, please.- I said making puppy eyes.
-Oh okay, but no one has to find out .- he said giving up.
-Yes, thank you very much.- I said smiling at him and we began to dance and laugh.
Suddenly he took my right hand, made me spin around and, trying not to hurting him, I placed my other hand on his chest, while our hands were still intertwined.

I looked up and noticed that our faces were inches apart.
I felt a strange sensation in my belly.
A new sensation, which I had never felt before.
From this distance I could see his eyes clearly, they were a clear blue and had a particular sparkle that I hadn't noticed before.
-Oh, there you are.- we heard a voice behind us and walked away quickly, as I felt my cheeks warm up and my heart pounding in my chest -Did I interrupt something?- Thor said, with a mischievous look.
-No, brother, I just came to apologize.- Loki said as if nothing had happened.
-No, calm, Thor...oh, it's late and tomorrow I have school, I'm going to sleep.- I said quickly gathering my things.
-Goodnight little Stark.- Thor greeted me smiling.
-Night y/n.- Loki said in a neutral tone.
-Goodnight .- I greeted them, went in and leaned behind a column to calm down for a moment.
Too much had happened in such a short time.
While I was trying to rationalize what had happened I saw the two brothers enter, but they had not seen me.
-What was going on?- Thor asked playfully.
-I already told you, brother, nothing was happening.- the dark-haired man defended himself.
-I was watching you for a while, I saw you dancing and it seemed to me that you were going to kiss...- he said with a mischievous smile, while I was reliving the scenes in my head and, at those thoughts, I blushed.
-Nothing. Was. Happening.- he said in an annoyed tone -You didn't see anything. Not a word to anyone. Especially with Tony.-
-But why? - asked the blond.
-Because if Tony found out that she was alone with me, he would kill me and she would be in trouble.- he explained.
-Okay, you're right, sorry Loki.- Thor said.
-I'm going to sleep.- Loki said.
-Anyway there is a feeling between you two.- said Thor smiling.
-What? No! Absolutely not.- he said immediately and I swear I saw him blush slightly.
-Yes, in my opinion yes. Do you want to know why?- He said smiling.
-Let's hear it, brother.- Loki said, turning around.
-I have known you for a thousand years and I have never seen you dance, suddenly she comes and dances.- he explained, trying to hold back a laugh.
-I don't want to hear anything anymore, I'm going to sleep. Goodnight brother.- Loki said as he left.
-Goodnight- Thor greeted him.
I waited until they were all gone and slipped into my room, changed and lay down in bed.
The scenes of me and Loki dancing were etched in my mind and I couldn't understand what that strange feeling I had felt before was.
-What if they were the famous "butterflies in the stomach"?- I said to myself -No, no, impossible. I don't feel anything for Loki.- I said, shaking my head.

The Ascendant: Endless Reincarnation
My name is Richard Brooks. I died while saving a kid. Kicking the bucket at 28 was really depressing, you know? There’s so much I still wanted to do. But instead of passing on, I was thrust into an endless series of reincarnations. Whenever I die, I earn Karma points based on my achievements and growth. These points can be exchanged for weapons, spells, or other bonuses to make my next lives more interesting. “What kills me only makes me stronger!” Or something like that. Honestly, it feels like I’m stuck in an RPG. The difficulty setting can be pretty ridiculous too. Sometimes all I can do is grit my teeth in frustration as I die an ignoble death. But I won’t complain. Even when it’s dangerous and painful, I love life. This is all an opportunity; I’ll do my best, no matter what kind of sadistic fate the System throws at me. I will swing the warhammer of justice! Craft and enhance the most amazing artifacts! Overwhelm opponents with a barrage of auto-casting spells! Lead powerful vassals in Domain wars! All for the sake of creating an eternal sanctuary. With my unique power of Runecrafting, maybe I’ll even become strong enough one day to overturn fate… or at least find out what the hell is really going on. It might take a few hundred or a thousand lifetimes, but what’s the rush? I have all the time in the world now. (Note: R15+ This is the work of a very inexperienced author with a full time job. Please expect an erratic release schedule.)
8 100Dungeon of the Dead [hiatus]
The dungeons in this realm usually do not develop truely sentient personalities until much later on in their life. As such they are unable to generate the power the Dungeon God needs to function. Plus when they do develop their personalities, they are usually sociopathic killing machines because...well...their dungeons. Because of this the Dungeon God isn't doing so hot, and in a latch ditch attempt to preserve his Godhood he creates one final dungeon that will have a personality immediately. Unfortunately this particular dungeons seems to be just a little.....incredibly stupid. Due to the dungeon not paying attention during its earliest moments it ends up being a dungeon of the undead. This dungeon is the Dungeons Gods last chance and if it fails he will be stripped of his power by the other deitys and his creations will be exterminated. As the sentient races throughout the land despise undead and seek to destroy them where possible, this could well mean the extinction of the dungeon race...
8 156Yin-Yang
Mages in North America seem to have it all – typically from well-off families, and able to manipulate their environment in ways most of the world would never believe. They don’t even have to bother with the mundane details of life like housework, thanks to their sensitives, who also make a useful source for extra magical energy. After all, sensitives have no use for it themselves, and if mages weren’t meant to make use of it, then the sensitives would obviously have some way to prevent that. That a mage can transform a sensitive physically, with no restrictions beyond overall mass and basic biological viability, whereas magic tends not to work directly on any other living thing, is only further proof. And look at the way they live on their own, barely a step above animals. It’s better for them to belong to a mage. Sensitives in North America live on the edge of society and survival – typically so paranoid they avoid hospitals and anything else that could lead to being tracked, many of them with little or no education and no legal identity or existence. Mages exist, and mages want sensitives for some reason, but no one ever comes back to explain what that reason is. Waiting every day for the hunters to notice them doesn’t lead to much motivation or hope for the future. And once they’re captured, they’re the property of someone with a terrifying amount of power over them. Anything is better than capture. Mages are born to be the masters, and sensitives are born victims. Or are they? Jax’s life is turned upside-down when he’s caught by the hunters and sold to a mage. Andreas is still mourning for his previous sensitive, though, unconsciously creating a difficult standard for Jax to live up to, all the more so while still struggling to come to terms with this new reality as Andreas’ sensitive. A runaway sensitive isn’t what Van expects at the mental health centre. Is this a hunter trap, set for him and the rest of the Donovan family by the hunters? The hunters would, after all, love to see them cross the line openly and finally do something they can be charged with. Either way, Miranda’s genuinely in trouble, and he can’t just abandon her to it. Snatching a sensitive out from under the hunters and hiding her is odd behaviour for a mage – but then, Catherine is an odd mage, living in disgrace in the old servants’ quarters of her grandmother’s house, responsible for cooking and housework. Lila owes Catherine her freedom; is there a way to help Catherine achieve her own, and at what price? Tension is building between traditionally-minded mages and those advocating change, and something has to break. *** Yin-Yang includes a small amount of profanity and no graphic sex or on-screen physical violence. However, sex and gender roles and relationships within the mage/sensitive subculture are non-traditional in mainstream North American terms. The key criterion in a primary relationship is not relative sex or gender, but the pairing of mage and sensitive; given the transformation of sensitives by their mages, physical sex is non-absolute for a sensitive, and gender identity can vary as in anyone else. *** *** The way mages treat sensitives is extremely varied and, in some cases is outright abusive. The struggle against that is pretty much the point of the book. It is NOT grimdark or misery-porn! However, if you will be triggered by this, please, don't read Yin-Yang! *** Complete stand-alone novel, 153K words! Also available on Scribble Hub and as a free ebook.

8 114My Life As A Superhero Slash Supervillain
James Jude Jamison is experiencing something a bit odd. He was sitting quietly at his computer desk, playing some kind of RPG, he couldn't which one, although the fate of the universe rests on him remembering which (Oh well, it had to end sometime). So, anyway, suddenly, out of nowhere, he got a bit of a headachne, his nose started to bleed, he then proceeded to make a mess in the family room at the computer room. His mom shouted at him, then he died. Then he woke up. He was reborn. Only he had a UI screen suddenly at the edge of his vision. What the hell. He was meant to have some cool powers, like lazers that shot out of his nipples, maybe some mad dancing skills. He would finally be able to speak to girls without laughing in their faces. Sigh. So this is his story, of how he couldn't decide which career prospect appealed to him more. So he decides to give both being a hero and a villain a go. What could go wrong? *** Edit: 2017.06.18 - 03:08 am EST - JJ seems to have buggered off somewhere without telling me where he went. So I am going to have to piece together this story back from the start with the fragments that he gave me. I will leave the original chapters up, but I will be renaming them so they are obvious if new readers don't want to read them. I am currently trying to write chapter one anew. It will feature new reasons of why JJ starts with the villainous lifestyle first, and the reasons of why he is granted the power he was given. If JJ does come back, I will inform you thusly. Then it will be decision of writing from where he left off or telling him to go choke on his own c**k. If I do decide to take the story up, then it will be a decision of to split the stories in two, and if to keep my version alive and concurrent. Thanks.
