A family of Carnotaurus were leaving to go on a hunt, wandering off to the open area, stalking their first meal.

It was a Corythosaurus. Who was peacefully grazing about its business, not aware that predators are in the area.

The Carnotaurus male ordered the rest to wait until the element of surprise is used.

Crusher's mother was watching over them, until it was time to hunt as well, and ordered the hatchlings to stay behind, and no wandering off, as a simple instruction to follow.

They nodded as their mother left to hunt.

By the time their mother was gone hunting, the hatchlings stayed behind at the nest, playing about their business, doing what they do.

She was in a state of depression since Rex, her mate, had died long ago. But had to carry on for the sake of her young hatchlings.

Who are on the verge of adulthood in the years to come.

While the mother was away, the hatchlings enjoyed themselves.

With the mother gone, a rogue Tyrannosaurus is approaching the direction to where the hatchlings are at.

Black Tooth was intruding into Regina's territory.

And he's heading, for trouble.

The mother Tyrannosaurus spotted a Carnotaurus pack that had just recently took down a hadrosaur.

She waited until the Carnotaurus pack began to eat their meals.

Then she made her move, scaring the dinosaurs off and away from the carcass.

The mother Tyrannosaurus then stole the carcass to feed her babies with, but fortunate enough to leave some for the Carnotaurus pack, but took everything else.

Then there was trouble....

Until on the other side of the island, the dinosaurs, carnivore and herbivore alike, have stampeded across the island, creating a loud noise, lots of roaring and bellowing.

As Regina returned to her nest, her hatchlings had picked up her scent and just returned from their play.

"Dinner time, little ones." The female called out.

The hatchlings chirped at their mother happily before turning their attention to the carcass, and began to eat, tearing away at the carcass.

Their mother looked on happily as her little ones ate.

Before she joins them in the meal, of course.

And as soon as they were finished halfway, there was a loud rumble.

The ground shook..

And shook....

And Regina turned around to see, halfway, up ahead, was around. A stampede of a flock of Ornithomimus and Gallimimus, and a herd of Ankylosaurus and Triceratops, rampaging towards their direction.

Crusher chirped curiously at his mother.

"Mom, the whole herd is on the move." Crusher said.

Regina nodded grimly with suspicion.

"Odd.." She squinted her eyes, narrowing closely forward to get a closer look.

As the stampede was nearing their direction, she ordered her hatchlings to retreat to a safe area and stay hidden. While she investigates to see what was going on and the root cause of the stampede.

Black Tooth was getting closer, and closer, infringing on Regina's territory as the stampede grew closer and closer.

Regina had picked up a scent, it was the same from earlier, Black Tooth.

And as she headed out into the open, she spotted the stampede heading her way, so she retreated into the forest.

Only for Black Tooth to appear from in front of her.

Regina growled with anger.

Black Tooth: It is time for your reign and lifeblood to come to an end. Your family must die, and this land will mine to rule.

Regina: Never. That will never happen. If you want to even try anything stupid like that, then- -

You'll have to go through me!

Black Tooth: So be it. If you won't surrender, then your kids will die after you.

The stampede carried on. Knocking down almost everything in its path.

While Regina and Black Tooth prepared to fight.

Regina attacked first, with a bite to the neck, throwing her opponent to the ground. Then dragging him around several times to make him lose his balance.

Black Tooth roared in anger, and with determination.

He shakes and shifts to the side, first left, then right. Until Regina loses her balance, forcing her to let go.

And the Tyrannosaurus continue to throw, snap, and swing their tails at each other's flanks, each sidestepping out of the way of one another's attacks.

Even ramming one another's heads, with neither seemingly gaining the advantage.

Black Tooth then bites Regina's neck in turn, and fights back ferociously.

Regina staggers back, wounded.

And here's where the battle then takes a turn for the worst.

Black Tooth then pushes his opponent forward, then twisting her neck, to almost a 90 degree angle turn, causing her to roar in pain, until he ends her life with a one, loud neck snap.

It was too late.

As Crusher ordered his siblings to stay hidden, and proceeded to investigate, they insisted in following him, so he reluctantly agreed..

He saw what appeared to be the most tragic and gruesome sight of all. His mother, their mother, was murdered in cold blood, her neck cracked and crushed in their killer's mouth.

His siblings watched in horror as their caretaker, was taken from them.

Letting go of her neck, Crusher watched as the body of his now dead mother slumps to the ground with a loud

Crusher went numb at the sight, their mother, most of all their caretaker and protector, has been slain..

By another of his own species.

That started the fire, of anger.

That's how it starts. The fever, the rage, the feeling of powerlessness, that turns good individuals/men, cruel.

"Mom..." Crusher began to cry as a single drop of tear began to fall from his eyes, now turning red and puffy.

Black Tooth roars triumphantly.

Until he spotted the young hatchling and it's siblings, and chased after them.

Crusher and his siblings fled the area, very quickly.

And was never to be seen or heard from again... or so he thought.
