《Safe with You - Jurassic World Fan-Fiction》Chapter 9

Owen and I were now in an abandoned car garage, which was part of the old Jurassic Park ruins. Owen found a jacket in the garage. Claire's nephews had gotten on of the old park jeeps to work.
"They are going to the park" Owen said.
Then, we heard a loud thump, that caused the building to shake. A large dinosaur foot appeared outside of the garage. It was the Indominus Rex.
Owen and I hid behind the other jeep. The Indominus Rex stuck it's head inside the garage. It growled, as it sniffed around. I put my hand over my mouth, so that I wouldn't scream. Owen had his hand on my leg.
The Indominus Rex backed out of the garage, and went in another direction. I removed my hand from my mouth. Owen and I took a breath of relief.
Then all of the sudden, the ceiling started to fall down and the Indominus Rex appeared in front of us. I screamed in terror.
"Run!" Owen cried.
Owen grabbed my hand, and we ran out of the old Jurassic Park ruins. We ran far enough away from the Indominus Rex, but it wasn't chasing us.
Then, we heard a helicopter. Owen and I followed the helicopter, to which it lead us to the aviary. The Indominus Rex broke into the aviary, releasing Pterodactyls and Pteranodons inside. The Pterodactyls and Pteranodons attacked the helicopter, causing it to crash. It was Mr. Masrani's helicopter, and the crash had killed him. The Pterodactyls and Pteranodons started to fly towards us. Owen and I ran again, and we fell to the ground to take cover. The Pterodactyls and Pteranodons were heading to the park.
"Baby, are you okay?" Owen asked me.
"I'm fine babe. We need to get to the park" I said.
Owen took my hand again, and we headed for the park.

Mana Soul
Like many others across the multiverse, Markus was chosen as this world's hero to fight against the steadily approaching cataclysm. Only, something went horribly wrong. Left with only a handful of memories, Markus has spent years clawing his way up from poverty and officially registered as an adventurer to try and make his fortune. Unfortunately, Artificers are the least combat-capable class of the four classes, and Markus has no connections to join an established party. With the fate of countless worlds hanging in the balance, a chance meeting will determine the course of a war nearly as old as reality itself. Warning: Markus has trauma induced amnesia and will occasionally 'act out of character' or make 'poorly thought out' decisions. These events are rather obvously telegraphed abd represent conflicts between his current personality and the one repressed alongside his trauma. Just something to bear in mind. The story will bounce predominantly back and forth between the primary protagonists every couple of chapters. The time stream is linear, so events are not revisted/rehashed/retold through the narrative format. Characters may comment on something that has occurred, but that's different. Just giving a heads up.Chapters will be around 7-9k and updated 1/week on the same schedule as my other story Ogre Tyrant over the weekend.[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

The Dawnfire Archives
It begins in the endless wastes, with an unknown man arriving at the bottom of the tallest mountain in existence. A mysterious voice provides few directions, bringing more questions than answers. Regardless, after choosing a name and weapon... the man begins to climb. He will not be alone on this journey. A young individual from a different reality has also made his way to The Climb. But what does their arrival bode for the people of this world? And where does climbing the mountain truly lead? This is my second novel on Royal Road, the first being "Beyond the Horizon's Eye", and the third being "The Card Thief of Culnivar". This story is much more GameLIT than Xianxia, and takes place in a different setting with an entirely new cast of characters. It does, however, contain several ties between the stories. Average post between 1000 - 3000 words.

TLDR - RWBY esque modern xianxia (everything is original to the best of my knowledge, but you can probably see where I drew my inspiration) 20 years ago, monsters manifested from negative emotions emerged and brought the world to its knees. Follow the journey of Ed as he strives to become stronger to avenge his brother who sacraficed himself. Note: First time writer, i have about 16k words written already. I will use the first 10 or so chapters as a guage to see how well I am doing. I am open to all feedback and will continue writing if people like it. I have another 10 or so chapters planned already. I will keep you updated on what I do. Please be nice.
