Rose's Pov

It's been about three weeks since Nigel and Jake have been dating. The entire school has started to ship the two. When ever you see the two together there is always fan girls taking photos or boys drooling over how cute Jake looks. That should be me!!! I should be the one with Jake as girls take pictures of us while squealing!!!! I should be the one that boys drool over while they're jealous of Jake!!! Not that no good-magic wielding-British speaking scumbag!!!!I'm in a meeting with the Huntsclan. I then get a great idea. "I know of two people that know the American Dragon personally. One is even the mate of the dragon." They all look at me like I'm a golden goose. "Please continue. Who are these people?" "Well, the first one is the dragon's best friend. His name is Arthur "Spud" P. Spudinski or mostly known as Spud to the dragon. He's a lighthearted fool at times and he is very weary. He'll be the easiest to capture since he's only human and doesn't have any physical training. Now the dragon's mate is a wizard. He'll be harder to trick since he won't trust us very easily and he may have an advantage since the dragon's whole family knows him. The wizards name is . He should be the main person we capture but if we get Arthur as well, then icing on the cake." They noticed how my voice added some venom to Nigel's name. They nod their heads liking my plan. "Ok you contact us when they are in a secluded area." I just nod my head as I think of ways we can torture Nigel and how I can keep Jake safe. It's the perfect win-win.

'The next day'

I've been following around Spud, Jake~ and . It seems like it would be easier to take Spud, send a warning, then get Nigel off guard. All I need to do is stall Jake long enough to get Spud plus Nigel by themselves so he won't interfere. And I have the perfect way of doing so. Right now they're at the park. I approach them with a big fake but bright smile. "Hey guys! I was looking for Jake over here. You mind if I steal him for a sec?" Nigel gives me a glare, Spud looks a little weary and Jake seems to look so as well. "Guys I'll be back. Just don't leave ok?"Jake said getting up. 'Yes my plan is working smoothly' "We won't leave flower." Nigel replies. Ugh! Can't he just not act like he's sooooo innocent!!!! I lead Jake a good ways away from them, but he could probably still hear them if they screamed so I have to keep him distracted. I smiled trying to keep my composer as he seems to can't keep still. "So Jake I know you've denied this but Trixie and I are sure you're under a spell." "Oh and we're is the proof?" "We'll ever since this 'truce' Nigel called you've been more hostile to Trixie and myself. You said you don't remember anything while walking home with him the afternoon before he asked you out with the blessing of your family. Even the next day before you arrived we questioned him about what he did and he said that you pulled him into the alleyway but when we asked you it a whole blur since you can't remember anything. When you came yelling out that nickname he said himself that we followed you two so we should've known you're dating. It doesn't add up and it smells like a rotten fish farm." He gives me a thoughtful look as he thinks over the information I've given him. "Yes but you didn't you record the alleyway scene. If you can show me pure visual evidence of him using magic on me, then I'll end things with him but if not please don't approach me with this claim again. Nigel makes me very happy." I was about to speak again but loud screams were heard from a distance. It came from the direction in which Spud and Nigel are in. I see Jake bolt that way with me behind trying to stall him a little longer. I wasn't able to keep up with him. His speed was so inhuman that I think he was flying even though he wasn't transformed. Once we made it to the bench. Nigel is being held by a huntsman knocked out cold, while Spud is trying his best to get away. They see Jake and I arrive. I secretly signal them to leave with Nigel quickly. They do as told before Jake can reach them. I immediately flee as Jake falls to the ground. 'Don't worry my dear little dragon~ That thieving wizard won't have you in his grasp for much longer~ "

Jake's Pov

They took him. They took Nigel from me. The love of my life who is stubborn, snarky, well mannered, sweet, smart, flirtatious and my other half. Spud walks up to me with something in his hand. I can't see it since my head is down. I was crying. I feel his hand on my back as he hands me a stick. Wait.... it's Nigel's wand. I clutch the object tightly to my chest. I silently cry as I try to think of a way to get him back. After a few minutes my sadness turns to pure and utter rage. I just realized something. The Huntsclan wouldn't have know Nigel was my lover unless they had a lead. The only person I can think of that would've told them is a certain blonde huntsgirl. I get up from my place on the ground. Spud seems surprised at my change in mood. He stands up quickly to see if I'm alright. "Spud I want you to avoid Rose ever time you see her. Do the same with Trixie as well. Make sure you are never in a secluded area. We don't know if they're after you as well. Tell your parents that you're sleepover at my house for a well." He nods to my request. I look up to the sky.
