Percy fell asleep on the couch. And Athena had to wake him up. Great, she saw just how much he drools in his sleep.
"Percy, get up! We gotta go!" Athena said shaking Percy awake.
"Hmmm?" Percy asked.
"We have to go!" Athena said,"Zeus called a Council meeting and demanded that you come!" Athena stood up straight and put her hands on her hips.
"Okay, okay. I'm up." Athena nodded,"Good."
Percy stood up.
"Oh, in the room you slept in last time you have cloths," Athena said and walked away.
Percy walked into the room and changed quickly. When he walked out Athena was waiting by the temple door.
She was wearing a simple white dress and her hair was twisted up into a messy bun.
"You ready to go?" Athena asked helping Percy out of his trance. Percy nodded. Athena smiled and walked out of the temple with Percy following.
...
"This is where I hae to leave you," Athena said sadly.
"Okay," Percy gave her a sad smile.
Athena walked away. Percy sighed and stood outside of the gods' Council Room.
Percy could tell when the Council started because the gods weren't concerned about being quiet.
"When is Perseus going to get here?" Zeus asked.
"Percy, Father," Athena corrected.
"Yes, yes. Percy. Now when is he going to get here?" Zeus asked.
"Soon, Father," Athena said. Percy sighed and opened the doors.(without breaking a hole in the wall this time.)
"Hello, Peter," Dionysus said. Percy nodded respectfully,"It's Percy, sir."
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever," Dionysus took a sip of wine. Percy walked foward and Athena smiled. Percy bowed at Zeus' feet then Poseidon's.
"We've-" Zeus stopped when he gor a look from Hera,"I've ordered for you to come here to see if you are ready to go back to Camp Half-Blood."
"I-I think so," Percy said. Zeus nodded,"Council dismissed." He disappeared in a cloud of grey smoke. The rest of the Olympians-except Athena-disappeared in different colors of smoke.

"Is it really that easy?" Percy asked. Athena nodded and stood up. She walked over to Percy,"Do you want me to escort you to Camp Half-Blood?" Percy nodded sheepishly. Athena rolled her grey eyes and mumbled,"You're not scared to kiss me, but you're scared to go to camp with me." Percy nodded.
Athena kissed him quickly and pulled away. Percy frowned,"I wan't finished kissing you!" Athena smiled and walked to the doorway to the Council Room.
"Don't make me come over there!" Percy said. Athena smirked,"C'mon Seaweed Brain." Percy staired at her-his face blank.
"Oh! I'm so sorry, Percy. I-" Athena stopped when she saw Percy running up to her.
"Percy, what are you-" Percy cut her short by kissing her. He smirked and pulled away.
"I wasn't done," Athena complained.
"Apology not necessary," Percy said ignoring what Athena had just said. He leaned foward to her ear and whispered,"You can call me whatever you want to." He kissed her jaw gently and pulled away. Athena gulped and nodded.
"So... are you gonna escort me to camp oh escorter?" Percy asked.
"I'm pretty sure that's not a word," Athena said,"but yes." She put her hands on her hips-tightening her dress around her hips, giving Percy a good view of her hourglass figure.
"Let's go," Athena said removing her hands from her hips and walking out of the Council Room. Percy nodded to himself and followed her.
...
They arrived at Camp Half-Blood safely.
"Do we go to Chiron or your cabin?" Athena asked. Percy smiled,"Let's go to Chiron." He gently grabbed her hand and lead her to the Big House.
Percy gently pulled Athena up the porch steps and knocked on the door. A few moments later Chiron opened the door with a jar of peanut butter in his hand.
"Percy?" Chiron asked. Percy nodded,"It's me." Chiron looked at Athena,"Lady Athena." He bowed as best as he could.

"Chiron," Athena nodded. Chiron looked at
Percy and Athena's entertwined hands,"It seems we have alot to talk about."
"Yes," Athena said slowly. Chiron nodded,"Follow me." He lead them into the Big House.
"Have a seat," Chiron gestured to the couch. Percy and Athena sat down as they let go of each other's hands.
"So... what's up?" Percy asked.
"Where were you, child?" Chiron asked.
"I was with the Huntresses of Artemis," Percy said calmly.
"Really?" Chiron raised an eyebrow and Percy took a deep breath,"Annabeth cheated on me," Athena stiffened next to him causing Percy to look over at her. He then turned his attention back to Chiron,"And the gods told me to work with the Huntresses of Artemis." Chiron nodded and stroked his beard thoughtfully.
"Why don't you go back to your cabin. I'm sure you've had a long journey," Chiron said. Percy nodded and stood up,"Athena?"
"I would like for Athena to stay. I have some things I have to... talk to her about," Chiron said. Percy nodded and walked out of the Big House to his cabin. He laid down on his bed.
A few minutes later there was a knock on his door. Percy groaned, got up and answered the door. He was greeted by an all to familiar blonde haired girl.
"Annabeth," Percy nodded stifly after removing all emotion from her face.
"Percy... please... I'm.. sorry," Annabeth said sobbing in between each word.
"Percy?" Athena asked from somewhere behind Annabeth.
"My cabin!" Percy hollered.
"Percy. Please forgive me. I-it was an accident," Annabeth said.
"Yeah," Percy scoffed,"Having sex with someone else was an accident."
"Percy," Athena sighed with relief,"My gods you scared me." Annabeth stepped back in shock. Athena walked to him and gave him a hug.
"Hey, Owl Head," Percy said. Athena gave him a death stare. Percy laughed nervously before Athena smiled. Percy shook his head,"I can't have a nickname for you?"
"Not right now," Athena said glancing at Annabeth before returning her gaze to Percy. Percy nodded and let her go.
"Mom?" Annabeth asked.
"It's Athena to you," Athena said harshly.
"What-"
"I no longer claim you, Annabeth Chase, as my daughter," Athena said,"You will be claimed when you can learn not to play with people's feelings like you did with Percy." Annabeth nodded and walked away.
"You shouldn't have done that," Percy said.
"What?" Athena asked innocently as Percy closed the door behind them.
"Youshouldn't have un-claimed her," Percy said sitting down on his bed. Athena sat down next to him and sighed as she put her head in her hands.
"What's wrong?" Percy asked pulling Athena to his side. Athena looked up and ran a hand through her hair,"I-I'm not sure." Percy nodded and kissed her forehead.
Athena held her knees with her arms and cried. And Percy sat there the whole time just holding her.
About an hour later someone else knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" Percy asked-not bothering to get up. No one ansewred.
"Door's open." The door slowly opened and a small girl around the age of five came in.
"Hi. My name is Aria Green, Daughter of Demeter, Cabin Four," the girl said,"Chiron would like for all of the Cabin Leaders to report to the Big House immediatally." Percy nodded. Aria gave Percy a toothy smile and walked out of the cabin.
"She seemed so grown up for her age," Athena said standing up. Percy nodded and stood up as well.
"I have to go to the meeting. See you when I get back?" Percy asked. Athena nodded.
"After the meeting, how about you and I go out to dinner?" Athena smiled and nodded.
"Until then," Percy said and kissed her softly.

My Newest, and at the same time, Oldest novel. This is a Rewrite of my very first novel that I begun when I was just starting out. It follows the story of Mark Floyd, a broken man who once tried to do what he thought was right... only to be stabbed in the back and thrown away. Now, pulled into a conflict that spans time and space, Mark has a choice to make; Stand up once more, even if it means facing an unknowable future, or let the Embers of his heart die and sink back into darkness. ----------------------------------- “For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity”. Once part of a Special Ops team in the US Army, Mark Floyd thought he had seen the worst that Humanity had to offer. That was until his final mission, one that would leave him a broken and shattered man, betrayed by the Country he served, and abandoned by society as a whole. His dreams filled with nightmares of the ones he failed to protect, mind and memories clouded by booze and more, Mark finds himself stumbling through life without purpose or desire. Life isn't done with Mark yet, however. For as long as even a single ember remains in a persons heart, here is still yet hope for the flames of Passion and Hope to be Rekindled. When the dying embers of Mark's heart catches the eyes of a Being far beyond his understanding, Mark finds himself thrown into a situation not even his years of training could prepare him for. Will this new chance be Mark's hope at both Redemption and Recompense? Or will it simply be the final nail in the coffin for a man already dead to the World? [This is a rework of my very first story. The general story will remain the same, however a few details have been tweaked, the chapters have be Edited better and some chapters have been broken down into smaller chunks for better flow and consistency. The biggest change will be to the System itself; It will be a lot less "Game-like", meaning no stats, levels or similar aspect, though skills will still be present in the form of "Programs". Instead, It'll focus more on the Sigil's nature as super-computers and how they change the world around them. This should make for a much more "natural" and less info-dumpy system.

Cinder Roots (Undergoing a Rewrite)
This novel is currently undergoing a major rewrite, as I noticed several plot points that needed to be revamped. I'll leave the chapters I've posted here to anyone curious to see how everything started, but I'll be posting the rewritten story as a new novel in the future. The characters will be the same, but the journey will be more understandable and hopefully, a lot more fun to read. -------- First, everything was fire, it killed, it consumed, and it gave him life. He was just a tree, born in the biggest forest that remained in the world, full of dryads, naiads, elves and treants, but he was alone. He couldn’t see. He couldn’t talk. Curiosity plagued him. He dreamed of wandering the land, but could only wonder what stood outside the reach of his roots. The tree was tired of waiting. He decided to not just dream, but to act. How could he survive against a invading empire, a grand conspiracy that threatened to shake the foundations of the world, and the raw danger that lies within these woods? With pure determination. Warning - There are quite a few POV changes in the first chapters, but that'll change after the introduction is done, as I'll be focusing on the MC perspective only.
