tight fists clenching strands of hair; they beg for mercy;

your paintings bleed colors, they stain my beige walls;

brushes by the sink, paint cans on the floor;

dents on my heart, evidence is hard to conceal;

words scribbled on paper, torn and creased.

this is anger

shattered glass, blinking reflections;

spilt coffee, screaming confessions.

this is disbelief

hollow bones, aching muscles;

shadows of grief; incomplete puzzles.

this is madness
