《Star Wars EpisodeIVAU: Revival (Star Wars AU Series #2)》Lux's Last Stand

Luna's POV
"Where is Anakin Skywalker?" Harkos demanded as he put a gun to Lux's forehead.
"I have not seen him," Lux said.
"Tell me where he is!"
"No, I refuse," Lux shook his head as I stepped forward. I've got a really bad feeling about this.
"Let him be, Harkos! Why do you want Anakin so bad?" I stood in between the two men.
"That is none of your business," Harkos snapped. "If you're gonna stand in my way, then I guess I'ma have to shoot you both,"
"Leave him alone," Han got his blaster and aimed it at the back of Harkos' head.
"Don't you dare shoot him," Eden barked at Harkos.
"Hey, look, what's that?" I pointed at the clouds. Harkos turned around. Seeing my chance, I did an uppercut to the chin.
"Run!" Han took the lead as we made a run for it.
"You ain't getting away!" Harkos shouted as he dashed after us.
"In the speeder! Now!" Lux and I got into in a green speeder.
"More reinforcements coming!" Eden cried as a bunch of Stormtroopers came into view.
"You distract them! I'll make sure Lux is safe," I said as my attention diverted to what was in front of me. Speeders were zooming all over the place.
"Get back here!" Harkos shouted. Turns out he had gotten himself a glossy yellow speeder. I gasped as he shot at the back of our vehicle.
"This is gonna be a bumpy ride, watch out!" Lux warned as the speeder swayed left and right. I began to get the urge to throw up as Lux did a loop de loop. I looked down and got butterflies in my stomach.
"You weren't joking when you said this was gonna be a bumpy ride, were you?!"

"Nope," Lux shook his head. Suddenly, I saw Harkos' ship below us. It was only a tiny yellow speck in all this mess at this point.
"Excuse me," I got out of the speeder and jumped. Bad idea on my part, considering the fact that I HATE heights. But there are things that must be done...like distracting Harkos.
I could feel my momentum increasing as I fell through the sky. The air above me was weighing me down as I spotted Harkos' shiny speeder zooming past me. I maneuvered to where he was and latched myself onto the trunk of his vehicle as I felt the strength in my arms fading. With all my might, I pulled myself onto the vehicle. Harkos turned around and gave me a death glare as I pulled out my blaster.
"Get off!" he jerked the speeder right and left, causing me to fall down. In the nick of time, I grabbed onto the edge as the blaster fell out of my hand. Great. I'm back to where I was. I pulled myself back up and grabbed Harkos by the neck. He reacted by pushing me over the hood of the speeder as I started to be thrashed around.
I looked down again and saw that the speeder was descending from the sky. With one final jerk from Harkos, I lost my grip and felt myself falling, falling, falling...
A few seconds later, I thudded onto the ground. Great. I probably just broke my rib cage. Thanks, Harkos.
"Luna!" Han shouted. I dusted myself off as Han and everybody else ran towards me.
"Where's Lux?" Eden demanded. Behind her were a bunch of Stormtroopers that shot at us.
"Stupid Stormtroopers," Han shot a few of 'em. "Can't even hit the side of a barn,"

"I know, right?!" Luke slayed a few more with his lightsaber.
"I don't know, Eden. I jumped off the speeder and tried to confront Harkos myself," I shrugged.
"Don't do that," Ben shook his head. "You're a very reckless one,"
Just then, Lux's green speeder came into view. He parked it to the side and came out approaching us.
"There you are," he said once he saw me. Behind him, Harkos was positioning his speeder.
"I'm giving you one last chance, Lux. Where is Anakin Skywalker?" he put his gun to Lux's head.
"I refuse to say," was all Lux said. I closed my eyes. What came next was a gunshot. I opened my eyes, only to see Lux's body sprawled all over the floor.
"Why'd you kill him?! He was innocent!" Eden cried.
"I'm on a mission to find Anakin Skywalker. All who stand for him will die. Now, let's make a deal, Luna," Harkos put his hands on his hips.
"Oh, cool, what?" I rolled my eyes.
"Find Anakin Skywalker and turn him in to me and I will stop antagonizing you all. You've got a week," Harkos turned around and walked away.
I can't turn in Anakin. He's innocent. He's needed in the galaxy. All my life, Jabba's been telling me to do morally unjust things. I can't live like that anymore. I must do what is right.

Author's Note: Harkos has made a deal with our heroes. This affects Luna the most. What choice will she make?
