ring ring!
the bell rang for lunch. just outside, i could the sound of feet shuffling in the hallways. there were many students chattering amongst themselves. i didn't have the energy to even stand up.
i laid at the corner of the back of the music room, and sighed softly to myself. for the past hour and 15 minutes, i stayed in this music room and never left back to class. my stomach grumbled lightly all of a sudden and i pouted.
"yah, stop grumbling," i said patting my stomach slightly. but it grumbled even louder than the first causing me to sulk. not even my body listens to me. i sighed softly to myself as my stomach grumbled lightly again as i tried pushing myself onto my feet.
but just as i was sitting up, i hear the door unlock. my heart stops for mid second but suddenly beats faster. i hid behind the cabinet as i saw a figure trying to reach for the light switch.
frantically, i tried my best to stay quiet but peeked at the person just out of curiousity. and it was him.
seriously, why do i always see him? it's getting kind of weird.
i watched quietly as he made his way to the piano. there was a sound of shuffling paper at first but then it stop. but before i could do anything of some sort, the sound of the piano filled the room. my ears couldn't believe what they were hearing. there was no way that was the same guy, who encountered seoyul and i in the hallway, that is playing right now.
it's beautiful though.
*grumbles*
i closed my eyes and bit my bottom lip hard as clutched my tummy. shut up, tummy!
the music didn't stop. he kept playing away. i listened to the melodic sound of the keys and couldn't help but peek once more.

his black hair slightly covered his eyes, but they looked down. his eyes didn't wander on the papers in front of him but on the keys of the piano. i didn't see his image as some kind of rough guy but more of a soft guy. it felt weird.
i tried sitting up more to get more of a good look at him only to end being the stupid girl i am as i accidently hit my head on an open cabinet door.
"ouch," i mumbled softly as i rubbed the top of my head.
instantly, he stopped playing and everything became silent. i held in my breath all so suddenly hoping he wouldn't move from the piano bench.
"who's there?" he asked. the piano bench squeaked as he stood up. come on, soojin. just get up already.
in defeat, i slowly rose up grabbing my backpack and awkwardly walked into the open space of the room. i looked up slowly and saw his eyes met mine, but he looked at me blankly. "oh, it's you," he simply stated.
okay, i should have just stayed in my little corner.
i awkwardly looked at him, but quickly dodged his eyes. he blinked at me and then just shook his head slightly as he sat back down on the piano bench and went back to writing some stuff on the paper he had in front of him.
that's it?
i stared at him and raised an eyebrow. so i coughed. he didn't take his eyes away from the paper as he continued writing.
wow, he's deaf too.
"just wanted to say thanks... about earlier," i said monotoned. he stopped writing and placed his pencil down as he directed his attention back to me.
"that wasn't for you. that was on my behalf. you guys were loud, so i wanted you guys to be loud somewhere else. simple."

"well, that's a bit rude, don't you think?" i asked.
"nope. i don't think so," he plainly said. "well it is," i plainly replied to him.
he didn't say anything after that. instead, his attention diverted from me and back to his papers.

i gulped slightly when all of a sudden my stomach grumbled loudly. my cheeks tinted a shade of light red. oh please, kill me now from embarrassment!
i clutched my stomach quickly when i suddenly heard a small chuckle come out from him. i eyed him carefully. "you should go eat if you're hungry, babo."
"yah! i'm not a babo. and i'm not hungry," i said defending myself. my stomach, then, growled once more. he looked back at me again and raised an eyebrow. "oh sure. your stomach tells me otherwise." instantly, my face began to warm up, but then, i looked down slightly. "i... i can't eat."
"and why's that?"
"i need to pay for lunch..."
we were both silent in the room, but i sensed him shift in his seat when he started digging into his backpack. slyly, i looked at him and watched him. he pulled out a containter and a bag and instantly, i could smell a scent so delicious, it made my mouth water and my tummy growl more.
opening up the lid of the container he had, i saw there were freshly made kimbap. i stared at the neatly rolled kimbap as i licked my lips slightly. he was about to eat some when suddenly he looked at me with a weird look.
"what are you looking at?" he asked.
embarrassingly, i looked at him, "oh, uh, nothing..."
i quickly looked away and grabbed at my tummy as it growled loudly.
"yah, babo." i instantly looked up and saw one of the container lids set with some kimbap inside of it. he placed it on top of the piano. "hurry up and eat. i won't be able to concentrate with that loud tummy of your's," he said as he took his chopsticks and plopped a bite-size kimbap into his mouth.
i suddenly grinned and went over to the piano. he tossed me a pair of chopsticks. "thanks," i softly said. i took a piece of kimbap and plopped one into my mouth. "oh my... this is so good," i said to myself in between bites.
"yah, stop talking with your mouth full like that," he said to me. i couldn't help but smile slightly. then, i remembered something. i don't even know his name.
i gulped down the food in mouth and looked over at him. he ate his lunch quietly and stared off into space. i mustered up all the courage i had left inside me and decided to ask him.
"so... what's your name?"
his eyes looked straight into mine's. they looked hesitant but had no secrets to them. they were just blankly staring back at me.
"yoongi. min yoongi."
