-3 weeks later : Friday, May 8th, 2014-

I was riding with Dominic to his mother's house. I was super nervous because I was meeting her.

But we aren't dating yet...

"Dominic?"

"Yeah?"

"I know we are going to see all your family but we aren't dating so how will they think of us?"

"It shouldn't matter what they think. As long as I care about you, you should just worry about that"

I smiled and nodded.

We walked to the backyard and everyone looked at us. I instantly got behind Dominic and blushed.

"Hey guys", he said, smiled.

"Hey Sage!", everyone yelled.

"This is my friend Leah", he moved out the way.

I waved and everyone waved at me while smiling. I smiled and we went to go get some food from the grill.

"You're so pretty", one of his cousins said.

"Thank you", I said, biting into my food.

"That was fun", I smiled.

"My mom loves you, she couldn't stop talking about you and your chubby cheecks.

I laughed and played with my hair a little.

"You want to go to the beach?"

"Sure"

We walked around on the beach with our shoes in our hands. It was always beautiful here in LA. So glad my parents decided to move here.

I do miss them tho. They moved back to Canada to be close to our family. I haven't seen them since I graduated college.

"What's wrong?"

"I miss my parents"

"They're in Canada?"

"Yeah, they moved back after I graduated college"

"We can go up there soon?"

"You forreal?", I looked at him.

"Sure, I wouldn't mind going to Canada"

I squealed and hugged him tight.

"Thank you thank you!"

"No problem", he hugged me back.

I pulled back a little and kissed him. He kissed back, rubbing my waist a little.

-Later that day-

I was on social media while sitting on Denise's couch. I raised my eyebrow at a post.

It was a picture of me and him kissing at the beach and another picture of him and his babymomma, his arm wrapped around her shoulder as she was looking at something in the store.

"Denise!"

She walked in the living room and looked at me. She sat beside me and showed her the post.

"Maybe you should talk to him about it first. You know how that shaderoom bullshit is"

"I don't know Denise. That picture doesn't look old"

I looked at the picture again.

"She's very pretty", I frowned a little.

"Hey don't let this get to you Leah"

I sighed and locked my phone.

.

I heard a knock on my door and I walked to it. I opened it and saw Dominic.

"What are you doing here?"

"I know you saw what the shaderoom posted"

"Yeah", I said, crossing my arms.

"I wanted to tell you. I'm not messing around with her, she is always taking care of our daugther a lot so I was taking her out"

"Okay", I nodded.

"I did kiss her once but that was all. I'm sorry", he rubbed his neck.

I was a little upset but we aren't together, not much I can do about it.

"Okay"

"Wait what?"

"I'm not about to freak out about it. We are not together"

"Oh", he frowned a little.

"To be honest, I lost a little trust in you. If we do start dating, how do I know you won't be messing around with her behind my back?"

"I'm not. I learned from cheating once and I felt super guilty about it"

"Mhm"

"Can I come in?"

"I don't know"

He picked me up and walked in.

"I hate you", I laughed.
