《The Beginning of the Age of Heroes》Chapter 25

It was now time to finish their mission. The team got dressed in the League gear and got their weapons ready so that they could go where they were needed. Once they were done preparing the team left their hotel from the roof so that no one saw them.
"Good luck Athena. We will see you back here in two hours." Arrow said as the two teams went their separate ways.
Once Athena was outside of Waller's home she stuck to the shadows and waited for her target to come home. She also had to wait for the security team to leave so that there would be no unforeseen complications. Once the security team left, Athena smiled to herself. "This bitch thinks she is safe by herself at home. I guess she is wrong about that." Athena thought to herself as she made her way into Waller's home without the alarm going off.
"Let's see where this bitch is so that I can get out of here quickly." Athena said to herself as she was making her way to where she heard Waller shuffling around.
Waller was having a drink in her kitchen to relieve the stress of the long day that she had. She was so consumed with her thoughts that she didn't notice that someone was sneaking up behind her. Once she realized that someone was there it was two late. Athena grabbed her from behind and pulled out her knife and slit Waller's throat. The woman fell to the ground and grabbed her throat trying to stop the bleeding, but it was no use
"Amanda Waller. My master sent me here to end your corrupt leadership over a US government agency. It is nothing personal, it is just business. We are tasked with replacing evil with death and you definitely fit that description." Athena said as she watched Waller take her last breath and die.

"Athena to Arrow. Do you need me to join you. My part of the job is done." Athena said through the comms.
"That won't be necessary. We will be done here soon." Arrow said and Athena then headed back to the hotel to wait for the rest of the team.
. . .
The rest of the team had snuck through the defenses that were supposed to keep unwanted guests out. Arrow told everyone where to go and then they started to get to their positions so that they could end this tonight. Artemis was on the roof in a sniper position in case someone tried to come and help the people that were protecting the General. Arrow, White Canary, and Black Canary were to go inside and take out the guards and the General, while Flash and Supergirl were to wait outside and take out any enemy that got past Artemis' vision.
"Ok, is everyone ready to do this?" Arrow asked and the other team members answered in the affirmative.
"Good, then breach." Arrow called out and he and the Canaries breached the building and started to take out all of the guards that were there without them even knowing that the assassins were even there.
It didn't take long for them to make it to the office of the General. The three assassins walked into the office getting the attention of the General.
"How the hell did you get in here and what are you doing dressed up like it is Halloween?" the General asked.
"The questions that you ask are not important. What is important is that we end your reign of corruption and replace your evilness with death." Arrow said as he pulled out an arrow and shot it at the General. The shot was true and went straight into his heart, killing him instantly.

Arrow then got on the comms and said, "The General is taken care of. Is there any trouble outside?"
"No trouble right now. We have had to take care of a few people though. We are not sure if they were coming to help or if they just got too close to the building for our comfort. Either way, we took care of them so that they weren't a problem for any of us." Flash said.
"Well done. Let's get out of here before all of these bodies are noticed. We don't need to have to fight our way out of here." Black Canary said and the team made their way to the fence that they had entered and then made their way back to the hotel to meet up with Athena.
. . .
"That was a good job tonight. Now let's get ready to leave. We have to get to the airport so we can make our flight in time." Arrow said as the team got back in their disguises that they had worn to get into Starling City when they first flew into the city so that no one would notice them.
"You know, I have really enjoyed not being in Nanda Parbat. I don't really want to go back." Artemis said.
"I know what you mean. I don't really want to go back either, but we still have things to learn, so we need to go back in order to finish our training." Arrow said.
"I just wish we could stay longer and help our families out. None of them looked like they were in that good of a place right now." White Canary said.
"We will fix everything when we get back, or at least we will try to. There is nothing else that we can do here right now." Black Canary said, even though she did agree with her sister.
"Alright, let's get to the airport. The longer we stay here, the more we want to stay. We can't afford to do that now." Flash said.
"Flash is right. We need to get as far from here as possible. We can't have the temptation of wanting to stay here right now, and the only way to stop those temptations is to leave." Supergirl said and everyone nodded because they knew that she was right.
Within the next couple of hours the team was at the airport getting ready to leave the country and take them back to their home for the next couple of years.
