At Star Labs everyone was in the cortex as Caitlin came back with the news on her condition. "How is she?" Barry asked

"I've never see anything like this, her cells are kinetically inverted, if she didn't have speed she would be dead." Caitlin said

"Guess I should have looked into the gun more" Cisco said

"I don't understand why she would do something like this" Nora said frustrated.

"That's the question isn't it?" Sherlock said and walked off to go find something.

At CPPD Nora and Barry had to analyse and see if there was anything that could help them locate Cicada. "I cantle wait for this nightmare to be over" Barry said

"I should be over" Nora said

"Look for whatever reason you sister did that, I'm sure she had a good reason" Barry said and he then spotted something on the ground. They came to a conclusion that Cicada brought the piece of wood from somewhere else.

Cisco is going to test the wood, Nora and Iris were working on something else. "How's Dawn?" Barry asked

"I've never seen anything like this before" Caitlin said "I just wish I could help her of that she could wake up, I've been so focused on Cicada..."

"Cait don't go there, this my fault I've been focused on everything but her but she's my daughter" Barry said

"Not everything is our fault, once we find out why she did it we can figure out a way to put this all to bed and that's all that matters" Caitlin said and Barry nodded

"I know why Dawn jumped in front of the gun" Sherlock said storming in with Dawns gauntlet. "She figure out Thawne's plan and she didn't even realise it until then. Thawne had the dagger on his west which was why he couldn't use his abilities, he wanted us to get rid of the dagger so he could have his powers and stay alive. Its the reason he was helping you."

"And to stop dad from disappearing" Nora said

"That's only part of it, this had nothing to do with your father" Sherlock said "He wants to destroy the dagger because it was the only thing keeping him in prison"

"Guess this is it" The guard said

"Seems like it doesn't it" Thawne said

"I contact the Flash museum and thought this should be buried with you" he said holding the ring with reverse flashes suit. "Consider it a parting gift"

"If we get rid of the dagger now it disappears in disappears in the future" Caitlin clarified and Sherlock nodded.

"Thawne gets out of Iron heights" Barry said

"A reverse time hack" Cisco said

"Everything you said about Thawne was true, he was just using me" Nora said

"This isn't your fault" Iris said

"Yes it is" Nora said and walked away into where Dawn was.

"Now remains the question, are we going to stop Thawne ore Cicada?" Sherlock asked

"We can't let a bunch of metas die, we stop cicada" Barry said and walk out of the room.

Later Nora was still sitting next to Dawn's bed. "You know you and your sister are like me. You both blame yourself when things go wrong but are very trusting."

"I need to fix this" Nora said

"You might not be able to, sometimes we just have to live with the consequences" Barry said. Caitlin then came in with her tablet and didn't realise that they were there.

"Uh sorry, I didn't me to interrupt I just came to check in on her" Caitlin said

"It's fine. We should let you do your thing" Barry said and Nora left. "Hey, are you alright it's been pretty hectic and I haven't really had time to check on you"

"I'm managing, we'll get her back and stop what's happening" Caitlin said "How bout you?"

"I'm managing" Barry said and gave her a smile. After Barry left Caitlin was running more test but still couldn't figure anything out.

"Anything?" Sherlock asked

"Nope, I can't figure it out." She said

"Can't we just create a serum to restart his cells or something" Sherlock said

"Muscle memory" Caitlin said "If I had sample of her DNA prior to this than I can create a serum so she can turn back to her original form"

The alarms then went off and they went to the cortex. The sample of wood had finished analysing and they tracked it to a cabin in Rollins woods "That's where we found the time sphere" Barry said

"Its also one of the largest wood areas" Cisco said "We need a plan"

"I have one" Nora said alerting everyone. They all greeted on her plan but Caitlin was staying behind to work on the serum. Before they left Barry got Caitlin Dawn's hairbrush.

"Work fast because we're going need all hands on deck" He said. She could tell he was scares so she put her hand on his forearm.

"We're going to win this, we always figure out a way" Caitlin said comforting him and he nodded. Neither of them wanted to move so neither of them did.

"Dad, you ready?" Nora said

"Yeah" Barry said

"Be careful" Caitlin said

"Always am" He said. Caitlin was working and Barry, Cecil and Nora were walking in the woods trying to find Cicada. Their plan was for Cecil to help them find Cicada using her empath powers to find Cicada. Then they had to breach Cicada to Star Labs so she was in the trap they set up. Then Nora has to convince young Grace to take the cure. That way the dagger still exist and Thawne doesn't go free. Nora was worried because she was unsure how to convince Grace to take the cure. Nora, Barry, Cecil and Joe "I'm not sure what to say" Nora said

"Whatever's in your heart she'll listen" Barry said

"What a bunch of sentimental crap, you two sound like a friggin hallmark movie" Cecil said

"I hear ya sister" Frost said walking closer to the group "Dawn dropped me off"

"I think we're close, you good?" Joe asked Cecil and she jumper out of her angry state

"Uh, yeah, sorry" she said "this way"

They found the time sphere and then they saw the cabin and were walking closer towards it. Cicada then appeared behind them. "I'm actually glad you found me before you left, now I can end your lives twice today."

"Not on my watch" Joe said and she didn't notice he was there and threw the extrapolated at her. She then tried using her dagger to destroy it but instead she ended up in Star Labs.

"We got her" Cisco said. Cecil gave Nora the M.A.D 2.0 so she could get into little graces mind. While Cicada was using the dagger to weaken the force field. Nora was still trying to convince Grace to take the cure and just in time she finally decided to do it. It didn't work because the connection of future grace with herself was too much. Cicada was about to kill Nora with the dagger when something else caught her attention. "Hey" Dawn said and Cicada turned her head it was enough that Dawn got the mirror gun and hit the dagger. It flew out of Cicadas hand and turned into mirror bits. It was fading slowly and when Cicada touched it she disappeared as well. "Come on we got to go" Dawn said

"Where?" Barry asked

"The future" Dawn said, They all took non-speedsters to CCPD. Nora and Barry created the time portal and jumped out in 2049.

They got to the prison where he was about to kill the guards but they sped them all away. "Well, well, looks like you found out" Thawne said

"We figure out everything" Nora said

"What did you figure out?" He asked

"We know why you sent Nora back, why you had her lunch DeVoe's satellite to create a Cicada we could stop. A dagger we could destroy, the one that was keeping you in prison." Barry said

"15 years, the second place I've been stuck somewhere against my will. Boring, except for your visits of course" Eobard said "You leaving out the most delightful part about how you helped me escape. When you traveled to the time vault, we need help how to figure out how to drain dark energy from the one who got away. Then everything started falling into place once I got you to trust me. That's because I am the only speedster who knows how to manipulate the timeline to get what I want and what I want is to go free."

"We don't need a dagger to stop you" Dawn said

"Then let's see how much your dad has taught you two" He said and sped off phasing into his suit. The three speedsters were following him and were getting every close. He created 3 mirages and they all split up. They took one echo only to be met again and all bump into each other and fall to the ground. They all grunted in pain as they landed.

"That hurt more than I thought it would" Dawn said but Thawne came back to one version of himself.

"I guess your not as good teacher as I am, you can't save him, neither of you can" Thawne said as they got up. "The Flash will always vanish, that is his legacy" Thawne then start running at them but they just moved out of the way as the time sphere came hurdling towards him. He didn't see this coming and fell to the ground because of it. Dawn and Nora fist bumped each other and went to g joking everyone else. Cisco, Frost, Joe, Dawn, Nora and Barry were ready to fight. "Isn't this nice, team Flash back together again. Joe, good to see you."

"Got to hell" Joe replied

"Frost" Thawne said and her eyes just turned an icier blue.

"Cisco, warms my heart to see you again" Thawne said and and then sped at them but Cisco used his powers to speed him into a breach so he could come out the other side where frost and Dawn blasted him. Barry and Nora then sped punched him so he fell into a stand.

Dawn then speeds up to him and and grabs him by his suit "That is not his legacy, it's yours" She said and created and icicle with her hand.

"Dawn!" Barry said

"So close but it wasn't going to work anyway" Thawne said and then she dropped the Icicle she was holding and saw her hand glowing the same way it did when she disappeared from the timeline.

"Dad? Mum?" She asked and Frost turned into Caitlin "What's happening?"

"A new timeline is setting in, one that your not a part of" Thawne said.

"I sorry to do this but I have to do this so I could go free" Thank said and Barry speed him into the stand pinned him against it. "You cab't save her Barry, there is nothing you can do" Thawne said

"Your lying" Barry said

"I'm not" Thawne said

"Barry!" Caitlin said and shook her head, he let go of Thawne. His eyes turned red and he sped away.

"Dawn" Caitlin said

"I don't have much time" Dawn said "I want you both to know that you are the best parents I could ever ask for and I am so happy that got to spend all this time with you. It's the best thing I could ever ask for. I love you so much"

"We love you to" Caitlin said and hugged her daughter.

"So much" Barry said and then hugged them both and they all just stayed there as she was fading from existence. In 30 seconds she was gone little pieces just fading into the air.

They all went back to their time except for Nora who wanted to stay honour Dawn. Caitlin and Barry walked into the cortex and saw everyone there. "We're so sorry" Cecil said and Joe went to go hug them both.

"She helped save the city, both of them did and we'll always remember them for that" Barry said and everyone agreed.

"Its been a long day, I think we all need some rest" Cisco said

"Hey, I'm gonna go with Cait make sure she's ok and stuff" Barry said to Iris and she nodded "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I know we'll see her soon" Iris said and Barry nodded

At Caitlin's apartment Barry sped her home and they didn't know exactly what to say to each other. "How are you feeling?" Barry asked

"I uh" Caitlin said but she didn't have to say more. Bary just hugged her and she started crying. "I miss her so much"

"Me too" Barry said "But things can always change we've changed the timeline before, we can do it again. We have to hope we can see her again."

"Yeah" Caitlin said.

"Cait, there's something I have to tell you, I know this is really bad timing but if anything this has made me realise its getting closer to me vanishing in crisis and I don't want to have any regrets when I do." Barry said

"What's going on your kind of creeping me out" Caitlin said sitting up

"I love you, I've been feeling this way for a while now and i've been to scared to tell you because if you didn't feel the same way it could ruin everything at work and then peoples lives could be in jeopardy" Barry was rambling and Caitlin cut him off with a kiss

"I love you too" She said and he smiled so he kissed her this time. The kiss ended naturally and they had a bunch of different emotions that they didn't know what to do with. "What do we do now?" She asked

"I don't know" Barry said "Maybe we can just take it slow"

"Take it slow" Caitlin said and lent her head on his shoulder. "Do you think it'll work out?" she asked scared of what the future may bring.

"Guess we'll find out" Barry said
