《Naruto: The Youngest Anbu》Chapter 18

The Konoha gates stood proudly in front of them. Deidara looked at Konoha with determination in his eyes.
"Hey, I have no intentions of going in there, I'll be around the area," Hidan said and jumped away into the trees. Deidara sighed and gathered up his courage and walked into the gates.
"Tell us your name and what your purpose is in being here," One of the 2 guards at the gates said.
"I have questions that need to be answered and I believe that the answers reside in this village, hm" Deidara explained.
"Ahh, I see. Go ahead," The guard who asked finally said with a smile. The other guard also smiled at the boy as the blondie walked through the gates. When he walked through the streets, he saw people staring at him.
"That's a new face," One villager pointed out.
"Never seen him around before." Deidara looked around the villagers as he was reminded of the time when he was in Iwa. Then suddenly, he heard something else that sparked his curiosity.
"Hey, look, it's that demon brat." Someone whispered. Deidara turned his head to see another blondie walking right past him. Their eyes met for a second as the world seemed to go into slow motion. The blondies stopped in their tracks and stared at each other. The villagers were whispering around them wondering what was going on.
"Who are you?" The boy who was around 7 asked.
"Deidara, what about you, hm?"
"Naruto. Are you new here?"
"Yes, I am, hm. I have a few questions that need to be answered, hm." Deidara explained.
Naruto nodded and beckoned the other blondie to follow him. Deidra complied as he walked behind the boy. Little Dei looked around the village and saw the villagers whispering bloody murder in which was directed at the boy in front of him. This caused Deidara to feel quite nostalgic. They continued walking until they arrived at the Hokage's tower. They both walked in and the blondie knocked on the door to the Hokage's office.
"Come in," Said a voice on the other side of the door. The boy opened the door revealing an old man sitting at his desk with stacks of paperwork that were all left uncomplete.

The boy next to Deidara sighed. "At it again, huh Jiji."
"Yeah, the paperwork never ends, they just keep on coming." the Hokage sighed, "By the way who is the with you?" The Hokage eyed the other blond next to the shorter blondie.
'He looks familiar...' Hiruzen thought.
"My name is Deidara. I came from Iwagakure in hopes of retrieving some answers, hm." At this, Naruto abruptly turned his head to face Deidara and then jumped away getting into a fighting stance.
"Naruto, calm down," Hiruzen said eyes wide.
"Jiji? Is something the matter?" Naruto inquired.
"Deidara, is that really you?" The old man asked skeptically.
"Um, I'm sorry but I don't believe that I have ever met you before now, hm," Deidara said, confused.
"Deidara, this boy right here," Hiruzen said as he gestured towards Naruto, "is your brother." Deidara and Naruto looked at the Hokage, shocked.
"BROTHERS!!!!!?????" They both yelled, eyes wide.
"Yes, brothers. Deidara is your older brother Naruto. Precisely 5 years older. He was taken away from your parents by Iwa ninja 5 years before you were born." Both the blondies in the room looked shocked. Naruto looked at Deidara and Deidara looked back. They were utterly speechless.
"THEN WHY DIDN'T OUR FATHER TELL OTHER NINJA TO COME FOR HIM," Naruto yelled.
"Because he was threatened. The life of his wife was on the line and he couldn't risk it. Minato promised Kushina that they would meet with your older brother again but the problem was that Iwa and Konoha are long-time enemies so it was hard for Minato to come into contact with Deidara, your older brother. He tried for 5 years but it didn't work, the ninja that was sent to look after Deidara and report back all got killed by Iwa ninja. Because Minato didn't want to risk the lives of any more of his ninja, he gave up trying to send them to Iwa." Hiruzen explained, "After 5 years, Kushina realized she was going to have another child and that child turned out to be you, Naruto."
The brothers look stunned and at a loss for words. They looked at each other, eyes wide, not knowing what to do. Finally after a few seconds of awkward silence, they walked to each other and hugged. They both started crying. Naruto cried for the first time in a long time and Deidara cried for the first time in a long time as well. They both decided that they were never going to shed a tear again but that turned out to be false statements.

The 3rd Hokage looked on with a light smile on his face. 'A reunion... of long lost brothers...'
A few minutes of crying passes and the brothers finally let go of each other. They wiped their tears and turned towards the Hokage. Hiruzen was looking at them with warm eyes and a slight smile dancing on his lips.
"There is more to your history Deidara but I think we'll leave all that for tomorrow. I'll let you spend some time with your little brother and catch up. Please come back here tomorrow." Hiruzen finally said. Deidara nodded along with Naruto. They both bowed and left the Hokage's office smiling. When they got out, they started talking and catching up on life.
"So, how's my little bro been, hm?" Deidara asked with a smile.
"Oh, great..." Naruto said sarcastically.
"Oh, how so, hm?" Deidara asked worriedly.
"Yeah, you know, abuse, torture, bloody, gruesome, painful, stitches, being badmouthed, and getting hated by most of the village." Naruto shrugged.
Deidara was stunned, his life was similar but it wasn't that bad. "Oh... wow... You've had it bad, huh, hm."
"Meh, yeah." Naruto shrugged again as he looked down.
"Great, now they have something commin' for them, hm," Deidara growled as he eyes the villagers while cracking his knuckles.
Naruto laughed. "Don't worry about them, I don't care. They're just a bunch of little camel farts."
"Tch, like I could forgive them for ruining my little brother's life, hm" Deidara growled.
"Arigato, onii-chan." Naruto smiled and hugged Deidara again. Deidara smiled and ruffled Naruto's hair. "By the way, I'm only going soft for you." Naruto pouted.
Deidara chuckled, "Oh?"
"Oh, I didn't tell you but I'm the Anbu captain," Naruto whispered.
Deidara was shocked, 'Anbu captain? No way, hm.'
Naruto smirked, "yes way."
"Wow, my younger brother is stronger than me..." Deidara sulked.
"Haha, don't worry, I'll help you train~" Naruto sang.
"Oh, please, I'll definitely need it." Deidara sighed. "I never got the training and no one helped me."
"What do you mean...?" Naruto asked.
"Well, my life is similar to yours but not as bad' hm. I was also badmouthed by the Iwa villagers," Deidara shrugged.
Naruto was taken aback but then hugged Deidara harder.
"Don't worry about it." Deidara smiled as he ruffled Naruto's hair. Naruto pouted.
"I'm gonna kill them," Naruto growled still hugging his big brother.
"Aww, come on, don't worry about it. As you said, they are just a bunch of camel fart but in my words, octopus fart' hm." (
Naruto laughed. "Yeah, you're right. Hey, by the way, now that you're here, I'm going to take you to the best restaurant in the whole entire ninja world!"
Deidara raised one of his eyebrows, "Oh, really, hm?"
"Yep, let's go!" Naruto said as he started running. Deidara chuckled and followed him. When Deidara finally followed his little brother to the shop, Naruto was already sat down and talking to an old man and a young lady. Deidara walked in and sat down next to Naruto.
"Hey, so the is the shop, hm?" Deidara asked.
"Yep, This is Ayame and this is Teuchi," Naruto introduced.
"Welcome!" Ayame smiled.
"Hello there," Teuchi said.
"Hi." Deidara greeted.
"Deidara is my brother, by the way, I just found out today," Naruto explained.
"Wait, then that means that you are also Minato's son!" Teuchi exclaimed surprised.
"Minato? Wait, isn't the fourth Hokage?" Deidara said completely taken aback and surprised.
Teuchi nodded.
"I'm the son of the fourth Hokage..." Deidara whispered in disbelief.
Naruto smiled. "Better believe it!" Deidara smiled but still in disbelief.
"Anyway, what do you want, I'll take your orders." Ayame smiled.
Naruto smirked, "I'm going to introduce you to the best, I mean the best thing you will ever eat in the whole entire world."
Deidara smiled, "Oh, fine then I'll let you order for me then, hm."
"Alright, O'chan, 2 miso ramen with extra chashu please!" Naruto exclaimed.
"Coming right up!"
