December 9th
I wake up on the couch in our base, with a blanket on. I look and see Naru and Lin working again. 'They work too much, they might as well be nocturnal.' I stand up and stretch, waking myself up. I walk into the kitchen and start to make tea for when everybody wakes up. I fill the kettle with water and place it on the stove, turning it on, to warm up the water. I grab a cup for each person.
After I finish making the tea I grab all of it and head back to base. When I walk in everybody is there. Then Naru says, "Mai-" But I interrupt him and say, "Tea!" I then start to pass it out everyone saying thank you, including Naru. Then I feel someone glaring at my back, but I ignore it. We start to talk about Chino and getting her to trust us, and know that we are all kind. Then I say, "Yesterday Monk saved John, causing Chino to trust him now. Also I believe that she trusts Naru now, however I am not going to say how." Then Mai asks, "But how did he gain her trust." I look at her and make the motion of me zipping my lips.

After an hour passes by, everybody is trying to think of ways to gain her trust. Then I say, "Well, she seems to trust those who do kind, caring actions towards others." Then Naru shakes his head and says, "For Monk and I, that was the case. However, for you all you did was ask her a question, and she seemed to instantly like you." I giggle a bit. "Oh, Naru. I was being kind, I had a gentle voice towards her, and I listened to her, so she liked me. Wait!" I say, yelling when I realize something, which causes Mai to jump about four feet in the air. I then say, "She feels alone, she feels like nobody cares, and that all kindness is gone. I listened to her, I wasn't acting afraid of her, causing her to understand that I care. Monk and Naru showed kindness towards others, then she understood that they are good people. She just needs to understand those things." Then I run out of the room.
I run to the living room and sit on the couch. I hear everyone else coming this way, bursting in like they are afraid something bad will happen. "Sit down." I tell them. Once they are all sitting I start to speak. "Chino, will you come here please?" Then Chino appears in front of us with a small smile. "I'm here, what is it you need?" I smile back at her and say, "Chino, you have seen kindness already, you no longer have no faith in people, correct?" She nods, then, Masako speaks up. "Then you need to move on. You do not belong here." "But, what if people start doing bad stuff?" She asks worriedly. Then John says, "We can help with that. Good people will help to stop the bad things from happening." Everybody nods in agreement, with Chino looking at each of us. Then she turns to look at me. "Okay, I'll go. Bye bye, everyone." "Bye bye Chino." I say quietly.

We start to finish taking care of things, calling the Mitsui's and letting them know everything is safe now. I make sure my stuff is packed, then start helping with all the equipment. When we have everything loaded, they finally arrive. I get into the van while Naru does, whatever it is he does, so that I can relax a bit.
When we arrive back at the office Naru shakes me awake. "Hi, Naru. Thank you for waking me up." I get out and stretch my muscles. Then I help to put things away. While working I think of what Chino said. 'A dead man wants the power to come back to life. I need to find out more about this.'
After I am done working, I head home. When I get to the apartment building, which is 5 floors, I head up to the top floor, where the apartment is. I walk in and put my stuff away, going to my window and opening it. 'Back from a case, and yet, things are even crazier then when I left.' I sit down on the window sill, relaxing. Then, I feel like someone else is in my room, right next to me. I look over and see this man, a dead man. The next thing I know, he has pushed me, and I am falling out my window.

A New Leaf
When people mention fantasy games and RPGs, they usually think of goblins, elves, orcs, dwarves and magic (apart from the percentage that gets an image of an anti-tank weapon in their mind, I will respectfully put those individuals aside for now). But what if you get neither of those (not even the weapon, I know, sad)? And what if you end up playing as something that doesn't look like an animal at all? And what if the said game you were playing weren't actually a game, but real life changed by irresponsible, beyond-mortal beings? Follow the (mis)adventures of "player" 13241, a.k.a. Treant, as he experiences what it's like to be a walking magical fruit maker (among other things). When the world goes to hell and back, plants are the ones that remain, right?

The Pugilist
Vincent Roy Salazar has never been your common folk. He climbed any mountain he found in front of him. From a bright young student to an accomplished professor, his life can be described as a continuous race to the top of his chosen fields. Patriarch of a loving family, proud father of three already grown siblings, Roy realizes that his life is the perfect picture of what the average man strives for, and for that he is truly grateful. But happiness is a difficult-to-reach goal, and as he lies in a pool of his own blood, his fist cracked, a young lady crying while cradling his head, he remembers what really gave sense to his youth. Pure Unadulterated Violence The Pugilist wants to be a different take on isekai shenanigans. What would happen if instead of a moronic idiot, a depressed high schooler, or a wannabe hero the one to get his do-over is a fully grown man that has already seen what life has to offer in full? Someone who conformed himself to society, but has always craved something different? In a journey of self-discovery, academy building, god-slaying, and absolutely no harem we follow someone driven by logic, experience, and a smokey goal: to fuck shit up, have fun while doing so, and maybe resume his career as a professor for those strange, magic-wielding, unstable youths that seems to never get enough of his presence. Guys, a few notes, first of all, this is my first time writing long-form fiction. I have a background in psychology, and my main income comes from writing dreary financial articles on SEO blogs. But after a bad break-up, and finding myself falling asleep only while thinking of deus ex machina for stories on this site (and for APGTE) I decided to try my hand at this web series thingy. I'm confident in my grammar, but that's it. Everything else will be a first time, and as such any constructive criticism is encouraged and gratefully accepted. Now, on the story. Romance will be introduced once my little heart is mended, if you are scared of LGBT you may be turned off by the fact that I plan to have no taboo of any kind in my universe, but I won't ever write detailed sex scenes for any characters so don't worry too much. The litRPG part is very light and will take place later in the novel, but it's a key component nonetheless, for world-building and storyline reasons. I already have everything big planned out, so I won't drop it outta nowhere, and I hope you won't find too many flaws in how things pan out. I plan to make The Pugilist an interactive story, with secondary characters created by my audience and introduced after tweaks and careful planning. The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to build a community for myself in this time of isolation. I discovered that exercising, playing the piano or video games means jack-shit when you are utterly miserable, so I hope to give some value to my readers in exchange for praise, fame, money, and companionship. I give full props to anyone who has read this whole mess of a synopsis: I hope to not disappoint too much, now let's write some more steaming garbage that will be in dire need of editing later on.

As she is titled as the Prophetic Mage. A young boy stood in a white world, there was no sun, no moon, nor darkness. He looked forward, he looked down. There were no boundaries, it was endless, nothing to indicate that there was something within the distance. He grasped his hands and looked upwards towards the sky as he lifted his hands up. A dark void appeared in front of him, but only to disappear once again. Voices entered his thoughts, pain struck his head, he gripped onto his hair and groaned in agony. He looked forward and saw an image blurred in front of him, fading in and out. “Young one... “ the blurred image simply spoke. The young boy didn’t say anything and only looked down at his wound on his chest. It was a large gaping hole that passed through him, however there was no blood spilling out from it, the veins and arteries only dangled in place where a heart was supposed to be. Realising the cause of this scene the boy asked. “Am… I dead?” “Hahaha, no not at all.” A wispy tired voice simply chuckled “Then… what do you want with a dead man… but my hands...boy?” “ Well Do you…” “Do I?” “Want to change fate?” Welcomed edits and suggestions.
